CHAPTER SIX:
VERY IMPORTANT MEETING

"I don't understand why we have to be here," Captain America said as Tony entered the living room of the Avengers Tower.

After their failed attempt at making Lucifer go away with pizza, Tony had declared this an Avengers level hazard and called in the rest of the Avengers.

With Natasha, Clint, and Tony already on the scene, they thought it was best if they explained the situation to the rest first before letting them see Lucifer.

So after the Avengers were called, they left Lucifer and Peter back in the kitchen and made their way to the living room.

"We are here because I missed you," Tony was met with deadpan eyes, "alright, we have a situation."

"What kind of situation?" Wanda asked wearily, no situation is ever good. Especially if the Avengers are involved.

"Nothing deadly," a brief pause, "or I don't think it is, Natasha?"

The red-haired assassin looked at everyone, "it depends."

"On what?"

"How annoying you are."

Clint jumped in, still sulking from being squished for the second time in less than 12 hours, "Don't listen to her, it's the devil, tots evil."

Steve raised a hand to calm Clint down, "Now Clint, we don't go around calling people the devil, that's not nice."

"No, I mean, literally."

Vision frowned, "Satan?"

"Yes!"

The Avengers shared a look.

"I'm not crazy!"

They looked at Clint, concerned.

Tony hid his smile behind his hand, "Okay, let me call in the kiddo."

Seconds later, the door opened and Peter walked in with Lucifer behind him.

The Avengers -the ones who just saw her for the first time- looked confused.

"Hi!" Peter waved at them before he went and sat on the closest empty space to Tony.

"Hi Peter," Vision said and looked at Lucifer, trying to figure out who she was.

"Hello," Lucifer said as she sat down next to Clint, who scooted away and put a pillow between them and then gestured to all the empty space, "there's literally six empty spaces around here, and you had to sit next to me?"

"I like your taste of fear."

Clint looked at Natasha with wide eyes, begging to be protected. Natasha pretended she hadn't seen him and continued to inspect her nails.

"Guys," Tony clapped his hand, getting everyone's attention, "I'd like to introduce you to Lucifer. Lucifer, these are the earth's mightiest heroes."

Lucifer waved at them and they just stared at her. Rude.

"Why is she here?" Steve asked breaking the silence.

"Ask the kid," Tony said humorously and stretched out.

Everyone looked at Peter who blushed, "It was a dare."

"I don't understand," Vision asked like the confused little puppy that he is.

"I was relaxing in hell, listening to the sweet sound of the screaming souls," Lucifer took pity on the boy and started explaining, "when I felt I was being summoned. I believe Peter was 'dared' by a group of his friends to try and summon the devil. He offered some pizza and didn't request anything in return, so I'm stuck here."

The group sat in silence for a while before Wanda spoke, "Have you asked her to do anything?"

"Yes, she helped me with my homework and ordered pizza."

"It didn't work?" Sam Wilson asked, speaking for the first time.

"Nope. She just fell out of a portal on top of Clint. Twice."

Clint jumped up and pointed a finger at Lucifer, "Yeah, what the fuck is up with that? Fall somewhere else."

Lucifer rolled her eyes and threw a leg over the other, "I don't open the portals."

"Who does?" Tony asked.

Lucifer shrugged, "It's a contract, it has to be fulfilled. Deals are very important to us. My demons are bound to the same conditions and so am I."

"Ms. Lucifer, ma'am?" Peter said hesitantly, "Will you be getting my soul or something in return for the thing I have to ask you to do?"

"Would you like to give your soul to me, Peter?"

"That's a trick question kid, don't answer. But Webs has a point, are you getting anything out of this?" Tony asked and shifted in his seat.

Lucifer looked at them with cool eyes, Not necessarily, no."

The rest of the avengers decided to stay quiet, listening to the conversation and trying to find something on Lucifer, either it be from judging her character or in Vision's and JARVIS' case, virtual.

The devil continued to explain, "It depends on the demon summoned, the task given to said demon, and the sacrifice or offer. In young Peter's case, he has summoned the devil, so I'm free to do whatever I want, but I'm not free from the laws either, what he wants might need a sacrifice. It really depends on the situation."

There was a moment of silence, everyone deep in thoughts. Peter was scared shitless, thinking about what he could possibly ask to require his soul or worse, someone else's soul.

Tony awkwardly patted Peter on the back, "don't ask for anything big. Be smart, keep your soul."

Peter nodded, "what if I ask for a villain to not conquer the world."

The devil thought for a moment, "Well, if it's a big villain I might have to kill them and damn them to an eternity of torture but if it's an amateur I can just flick them and send them to jail or something. Really, it depends on the circumstances."

Peter nodded and gave a choked "Okay!"

Steve awkwardly cleared his throat, "Alright then, we'll contact some of our magic users and get back to you, till then please try to stay in the tower and contact no one outside of the avengers and those close to them."

"No."

Steve frowned, "I'm sorry?"

"You're excused, but wherever the kid goes, I go," Lucifer shrugged, "Part of the contract."

Sam Wilson whistled, "Well shit."

Shit indeed.

I'm back!

A lot of you have asked if this was discontinued or not. I had exams so I could not update. Sorry for that. I announce my plans for the week and what is going to be updated on what day or if I'm going on a hiatus, so if you don't wanna follow me, check my board if I've gone quiet.

Anyways, we're gonna introduce more avengers.
Other characters of the MCU are going to make an appearance, people like Deadpool, the X-men, fantastic four, and such, so be ready.

This is very au. Don't @ me and say this isn't how Clint acts. This is how 2012 Clint acts and how I wanna portray him.

On another point, if anyone has any ideas, any character, any trope, any idea you wanna see in this book please do share. I don't have a strict plan for this book and everything is flexible.
