Valencia panted with anxiety as she tried to pinpoint where she was in the city. She taken so many twists and turns to get away from Pierce that her destination was hard to get to.

She glanced back to see the Vampire weaving through the little traffic.

Her brown eyes caught the street sign and she almost cried out in relief. She was almost there. She swerved down a wide alleyway, one big enough for the car.

She slowed down, letting her catch up. Val's eyes caught green ones on the roof top.

At the sound of the car she revved and sped straight with the car on her tail.

She was tempted to shut her eyes in fear but was able to watch as a green portal opened abruptly. Both the bike and car clearing through with ease.

The bike, the was not made for anything but the paved road, landed in a muddy field.

She screamed out in frustration, her bike kicking up dirt as it tried to go fast.

The car revved loudly and Valencia swore. She threw off her helmet and looked at the warehouse.

Nadia ran through and skid to a stop by Valencia.

"Go," Valencia gripped Nadia's hand.

"Run! Run! Run!" Valencia yelled, dragging the terrified witch behind her.

Nadia opened short range portal, trying to gain distance from the Vampire that stepped out slowly.

"You guys better get the fuck out here!" Nadia screamed at the top of her lungs.

She threw her hand out and opened another portal. She couldn't open too many, worried Pierce would be fast enough to go through one herself.

Pierce laughed grimly and began to run after them.

The women saw two doors bust open.

Valencia sobbed in relief as she saw Malakai walking out, holding himself up on his sister.

The two mates locked eyes just as a pale hand wrapped into Valencia's long hair.

She shrieked in pain as Pierce ripped her back, flinging her to the ground.

"Valencia!" Kai snarled and stumbled forward.

His body lit aflame and he began to charge for his mate. Any lost strength came back to him in the desperation for his mate.

Pierce gripped her up by her neck, her fangs grazing over her mark. Valencia squeezed her eyes shut in fear.

Realizing there was no stopping Malakai from attacking Elora began to strategize.

"Nadia start opening portals for Kai, keep him both moving. I'll get mine." Elora opened her own and charged towards the Vampire.

Pierce used Valencia as a shield, diving them out of the way.

Meanwhile Nadia opened a portal in front of Malakai, Kai furrowed a brow in confusion but didn't falter.

Knowing his fire didn't burn Valencia he didn't hold back. He slashed his claws down Pierces back, the other hand gripping her hair just as she did to his mate.

Malakai snarled as he slammed the Vampire into the ground.

Elora had used Kai's attack as a way to pull Val out of her attackers hold.

The two tumbled down the ground, panting as Valencia coughed.

"How the fuck do you kill a vampire?!" Malakai growled loudly as he stomped on the woman's face. She clawed wildly at his legs but he only stomped harder.

"Set her on fire!"

Kai glanced up to see Doc walking towards him, he watched the Warlocks reach into his coat and pull out a syringe.

"This weakens her enough to kill her," he waved it around.

"Well what the hell are you waiting for!" he gritted through his teeth as he dragged the vampire up.

Doc shrugged before promptly stabbing the needle into the ladies heart. She hissed and lunged at him only for Kai to light her up.

Elora stood slowly and nodded at her brother, signaling she could take it from here.

Malakai's breath hitched and he quickly turned to his mate and scrambled to kneel in front of her.

Her dark eyes were wide in horror as Pierce screamed in agony, burning alive.

Elio walked over and added fire, making sure to be thorough.

Kai cupped her cheeks and turned her face towards his. Her eyes refocused and clouded with tears.

Kai relaxed, expecting a hug or a kiss- something. Only for her to start hitting his chest wildly.

"You moron! How the fuck could you- you send me away when I could've helped! And s-say what you did!" she sobbed.

Kai's eyes widened but he didn't hesitate to tug her into his lap.

"You're mad at me for saying I love you?" he asked confusedly.

"I'm furious because you said it in a life or death situation and shipped me away so I couldn't help you. What would you have done in my situation?!"

"You're never going to fight alone, not as long as I'm alive."

Valencia swiftly smacked his cheek. He didn't react much, only narrowed his eyes a little.

"You're being a hypocrite. I know I'm not that strong but that doesn't mean you get to make decisions for me," Valencia took a deep breath. She then leaned forward to smash her lips against his.

His red eyes were wide in surprise, he almost wanted to look around for help on how to react but couldn't resist kissing her back.

He wrapped his arms around her tightly and kissed her hard.

Valencia pulled away, conscious of their audience as she tucked her face into his shoulder.

"I love you," she whispered.

He sighed heavily in relief and rest his cheek against her head. He looked up at his family and smiled smally at them.

Elora hugged Demetri with a happy grin.

Nadia trailed over to Elio, who wrapped his arm around her tightly.

Nadia cleared her throat to grab everyones attention.

"While we're talking about mates... Elio is mine."

Everyone's jaws had dropped. Other than Docs, who clapped happily for them.

"Wha- When?!" Elora blurted while staring at her two closest friends.

Elio leaned down to kiss her forehead while Nadia explained.

"My mom had bad experiences with men... and the last things she did was cast a binding spell on me." Nadia swallowed hard as her face visibly fell. "It was so I wouldn't be able to recognize my mate. It was selfish and it robbed so much time from me and Lio." She looked up at her mate sadly.

He brushed her hair back before piping up. "We had been working together on some of her potions, she ended up accidentally breaking the spell while I was there. That's why we've been kinda MIA recently," he scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

Valencia smiled against her mates skin, happy for them finding one another.

Elora and Demetri congratulated their friends, ecstatic Elio finally found his other half.

Kai shot Elio a smile to which he returned.

Nadia opened a portal for all of them. Valencia pulled away from her mate, who snatched her hand and followed closely.

She trailed over to Doc, knowing he wasn't coming with them.

She pulled him into a tight hug, "Thank you so much Doc. I'll call you soon okay?"

Doc kissed her forehead lightly, "I expect to see you soon Vally." He clapped a hand on Kai's shoulder before disappearing with a snap of his fingers.

"Let's get you home and patched up," Val turned to Kai as she examined his wounds.

The two walked through the portal, holding each other close.

"After we see that doctor you're all mine," Kai growled lowly in her ear.
