Hellboy pov

I rubbed my head as I stood up and looked around. The rain had stopped and the surrounding area was no longer metal and was tree. "What the hell?" I looked around and saw liz passed out on the ground I pick her up and lean her against the tree. I saw Abe sitting up holding his side. "Abe you okay pal?"

"I'm fine red but I feel that hatred from when we were fighting that snake. Be careful." I nodded and pulled out the good samaritin. "Where do you think we are red?"

"I don't know but we ain't in Kansas that's for sure." I muttered looking around. "Can you get to liz?" I asked over my shoulder watching the treeline.

"Yeah I'll try." I heard Abe grunt and the shuffling of leafs on the forest floor. "Got her." Abe grunted.

"Alright let's get moving. Walk slow." I looked towards them and watched them move. I followed behind them scanning the trees. "Feeling anything abe?"

"Still all that hate." He grunted as I saw him stumble a bit. Run and catch him and liz from falling. "Guess I'm more injured than I thought." Abe moved his hand to show his blue blood.

"Crap." I mutter and put liz over my shoulder. "Let's hurry up." I see abe nod and we continue walking at the same pace since abe was leaning on trees. "So abe any thoughts how we got here?"

"I think it's the same force that brought those warriors in the legend." He said thoughtfully. I saw that the sun was very high in the sky bearing down on us. "We should find somewhere to rest." I nodded and started to look around when I saw a cabin.

"There." I said pointing. It looked abandoned. A part of the roof looked caved in and it looked old. I start walking towards it. "Abe open the door please." He got in front of me and opened it. "Thanks." Inside looked to reveal a couch, fire place and a kitchen. I set liz on the couch as abe sighed in relief.

"Red I think that were being followed." He was holding out his hand which was ungloved. "I think we might be in for a fight." I nodded and started to pull up wood off the floor and put it against the windows and door. I then started hearing growls, hissing, and other unfriendly sounds.

Ruby pov.

My team and I are riding the elevator up to ozpins office silently. We were called by ozpins to do some sorta mission. "So guys." Was all I said since no one was really happy for some reason.

"What is it ruby?" Yang asked kindly but a hint of irritation in her voice.

"Just wondering what's wrong." I said quietly. No one talked after that and the elevator opened to show the headmaster and professor Goodwitch.

"Ah team RWBY thank you for coming. I'm sending you on a mission into the forest nearby on a intelligence gathering mission so to speak. We've had reports of grimm increase greatly since last night's thunderstorm. It seems that someone also landed in the forest too. I'm asking you to take up this mission. Are you up to the task?" He asked sipping his coffee.

"Yes sir." I said with a smile. "We can do anything." He chuckled at that.

"Uh sir what do you mean someone landed?" Weiss asked curiously. Glynda then pulled up a video and showed 2 guys and a woman free falling from some sorta vortex. One had a giant weapon on his right hand and a tail. "Oh."

"Let's go!" Yang smirked. Everyone seemed to be doing better. Weird.

"You leave now."

Timeskip.

My team and I watched the forest below us since we were inside a bullhead. "So what do you think happened?" Blake asked.

"Probably atlas doing some sort of experimenting." Yang shrugged.

"No it can't be." Weiss said. "Atlas may be advanced but it's not that advanced."

"Aliens?" I asked. Everyone looked at me weirdly. "Fair enough."

"Uh what's that?" Weiss asked pointing out to a clearing showing grimm flying into the air. "PILOT FLY OVER THERE!" Weiss yelled loudly. The bullhead turned in that direction and revealed the area to hold hundred of grimm surrounding a house and the man with the tail from the video swinging his weapon back and forth yelling something.

"COME ON! THAT ALL YOU GOT!" the man yelled. He had red skin, a trench coat, a black shirt, brown cargo pants, black boots, and a tail. I noticed in the doorway of the house flashes of light I looked closer and saw that it was gun fire. "I CAN TAKE YOU ALL ON!"

"we should probably help him." Weiss reasoned.

"Or we can take bets on how long he'll last." Yang suggested jokingly. "What?" Weiss shook her head and jumped off. Blake followed in the same style but swan dived. Yang saluted me and fell off backwards. I jumped off and used Cresent rose to fly towards the ground.
