Artemis felt hollow inside. She couldn't bring herself to cry. To sleep or eat. Talking was out of the question. No matter how hard they all tried, the Olympians couldn't get her to come out of her palace. All she could do was lay on her bed and stare up at the roof of her bedroom.

Her hunters had been killed because her family betrayed the most powerful demigod ever. She was paying for their mistakes. Why should she pay for their mistakes? Why couldn't they pay? They deserved it.

When this damned war was over, she was going to make them pay. For now though, all she could do was make her hunters killer pay.

Perseus Jackson was going to be on her list of hunted animals from now on. The only problem. Zeus wouldn't let her travel alone. She wouldn't have minded as much if it was Athena, but her father decided it would be a good chance for her and Apollo to become closer.

The closest they were going to be is when she ends up mounting his head as a trophy in her tent. For now though, all she needed to do was get help with murdering the evil bastard and she would be satisfied.

As these thoughts raced through her mind, Apollo appeared in front of her and snapped his fingers. "Hey sis. You ready to go kill him or are you just going to stare into space all day?"

She growled at him and began to walk towards the exit of the throne room before she remembered that she could flash around.

Quickly grabbing her idiot of a brothers hand, she transported them to the last known position of Perseus Jackson. The place where he murdered the hunters. Her hunters. His cousin.

Their bodies lay spread out across the clearing. Artemis couldn't hold it in anymore she let the golden tears slowly fall down her face. She fell to her knees and let her shoulders slump low. Her brother ran over and sat down beside her.

"Artemis. We can't just sit here. The longer we wait here, the more time he has to get away," Apollo said before pulling his sister to her feet.

She nodded, wiping the tears away before a look of determination and vengeance took over her features. Both children of Leto pulled out their bows and began to track the murderers trail. Well Artemis did while Apollo looked around making sure they weren't being watched.

"He's headed south," she said, no emotion showing through her voice.

Her twin knew not to say anything or else face the wrath of his sister. Both twins of Leto started to run southward, ready to kill the son of Poseidon.

After a few hours of non stop hunting, they came upon a small town where the tracks ended. It was a small town. About fifteen houses, a few stores, and a bar.

The place seemed deserted except for the fact that there was lots of noise coming from the bar.

The two used the mist to hide their weapons and disguise themselves as they walked in. The place was a decent sized building. Inside there was a few pool tables and some arcade games. People were dancing around and laughing.

All in all the place seemed pretty cool. It almost made Artemis forget the task at hand.  Almost. As Apollo went to step forward, Artemis grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Wait. Something doesn't feel right. I'm getting godly auras from this place," she hissed in his ear.

Too late. Every person in the room spun around and pulled out weapons, aiming them at the two Olympians. Artemis was about to say something when clapping was heard from the back of the room.

All eyes immediately turned to the man that was walking through the crowd of now recognized demigods who parted a path for him.

"It seems you have found me. Can't really say I'm surprised, but I didn't think it would take you that long. Anyway, what would you like to discuss," Percy asked?

Artemis was angry. Angry that he was here smiling and acting like they were best friends after he killed her hunters.

"You son of a bitch! You killed them! Why? So you could get revenge against the Olympians? Or is it because people said they didn't like you so you decide to kill them and everyone else they know because your a whiny little kid," the daughter of Leto screamed.

A dark expression took hold of his features as he began to pulse with power.

"Those fucking monsters tortured me, killed my family, I was an outcast, and it was all because a stupid son of Zeus wanted power. It was because he was a son of Zeus that everyone believed him! So yes I am getting my revenge. I will not stop until everyone one is dead. This is my destiny that you all created. I shall enjoy watching the light leave your eyes as I slit your throats."

Artemis was stunned. Her family had done all of this to their hero because of a new son of Zeus?

"My hunters didn't even want to hunt you. I didn't. My father forced them to or he would have them all killed! I guess it doesn't matter now does it? You did that for him," she said bitterly.

The whole time Apollo had stood there quietly, not once opening his mouth, but now he had to speak.

"Look Perseus, we need to end this now. We can't keep fighting each other like this. It's going to be the end of everyone and everything. We must work together and get past all of this," he spoke softly, hoping to get this powerful man to understand the predicament.

Percy looked straight at the slayer of the mighty python with sorrowful eyes. Apollo looked very hopeful. He might actually change back. Apollo couldn't believe it, but was happy about it none the less.

As he was about to walk forward to put his hand on Percy's shoulder, he was flipped onto the ground face first with someone pushing their knee into his back.

"No Apollo. I am happy to kill everyone that gets in my way of revenge. You are all going to die, but since you two didn't betray me, I might consider letting you live your lives. Also I have a bargain with Artemis if she accepts."

Artemis looked at him with complete outrage. "I will never do anything for you, you stupid monster."

"Well I was going to say that you give me all of the plans for the defenses of Olympus and in exchange I will bring your hunters back. Even the ones you lost over the centuries. How's that for a bargain. Oh and don't forget that every Olympian and minor gods and goddesses are also pardoned from my wrath if they didn't betray me. Just so you can maybe have some light at the end of the tunnel besides this nitwit on the floor," Percy said genuinely.

Artemis nodded quickly before snatching her brother up and flashing them both to Olympus. She didn't even have to ask why he did that. It was obvious. He was feeling guilty, but also because it would help him win the war with fewer lives lost. Nothing was going to stop her from getting her hunters back. Nothing.

When the light died down, they were both standing in Apollo's palace. Speaking of a certain Sun god. "Look sis. I don't care what your thinking, but you had better take up his offer. There are many that didn't betray him and it would be saving lives along with bringing many back. The only ones who are gonna die are the ones who you mainly despise anyway. So please do this. I want you to live and be happy and this is the only thing that will ensure that," he said.

He waited a minute for her response.

When she looked at him she spoke. "Apollo. I am going to accept because it is the right thing to do. Who cares if the traitors against him die. They made their choice when he was banished."

Apollo smiled at his sister and left, heading towards the throne room, his sister in tow.
