~Eva POV~

I let go of Alucard's hand and he was breathing heavily. He had to sit down and take it all in. I had showed him the night that everything changed for me. He was just soaking it all up but he looked like he was taking it okay.

"Now you know." I softly said to him. He looked at me with soft eyes.

"I'm so sorry Eva." He said bowing his head. I touched his face and made him look up.

"It was not you who did it so don't apologize." My eyes were a calm as my words. He just watched me as I turned back around and looked up. "This was the same kind of moon that shined that night. Mother always said that when I was afraid, the moon would be here to comfort me." I quietly said and Alucard finally knew why I looked at the moon so much. I watched as he looked up and starred at the moon with me. "So why are you here Alucard?" I asked him, he tipped his hat down with his his face.

"I was worried about you Eva." He said, my eyes widen by his words. I could feel my cheeks begin to turn red.

"No one has ever worried about me like this before. Thank you Alucard." I thanked him, I almost thought that I saw a hint of red in his cheeks. But it must have been my imagination. "Alucard can I ask something of you?" I asked him and he nodded. "If I am to ever die on any day or anywhere, will you promise me that you'll get me comrades out and to safety? Their lives are all I care for, so please promise me." I said looking straight into his eyes. He took off his glasses.

"I vow to you on this night, under the full moon. That I will protect you and your comrades. And if you are to die, I will save them." He said and I smiled. Alucard stood up, holding his hand out to me. I took it as he pulled me off the ground. We both remained quiet as we walked down the stairs. Then into a office where everyone was waiting for us. They looked at me with concern, I gave them a firm nod. Then all eyes were on Integra.
