*Lacey's POV*

I hear a door slam shut and know that Ryley is back from the park. She comes up to my room and sits on the bean bag chair.

"Hey, how was meeting Jackie. You didn't kill her did you? Cause you can't do that in public." I tell her.

"No I didn't kill her. We just talked about stuff." Sounds suspicious to me. But I just shrug it off.

"What did you talk about?" I ask her.

"You. And Jace." She says simply.

"Why were you talking about us?" What is going on?

"We talked about how cute you two would be together. She was really hyped up and she said Jace really likes you." She bites her bottom lip waiting for me to reply.

"And you didn't say anything? Why are you even telling me this, it's not like I can like him back." I lean against the headboard and cross my arms.

"Does that mean that you like him? By you're tone and crossed arms I think that's what it means."

"I will magic you to the next dimension." I grumble.

"Jack knows we're Hell Hunters. She wants to unite our families by getting you two together." She says nervously.

I bolt up from my bed. "What the Hell is wrong with you?! There is no way that's going to happen. You need to get your head out of the gutter." I pull her up and shove her out the door. I flop down on my bed and groan.

Great, now I have to deal with Jackie. How could she even know? Ryley better not have been the one to tell her.
