I walk up to the front door and towards the office. I notice people staring at me, boys practically drooling all over me. I walk into the office and stop at the desk.

"Hello ma'am. I'm new here. My name is Lacey Bentley."

"Hello there hon. Here's your schedule. I'll call for someone to show you around."

She makes a call and a minute later someone comes through the door to the office.

"Ah, there he is. This is Jace Fairway, he will be showing you around." I turn to the boy behind me and smile. He smiles back, but there's something about him I don't like.

"Well then let's go." He says turning around.

I follow him around while he shows me where my classes are, he happens to be in all of my classes. We go to the library and I get all the books I need and he shows me my locker. After putting my books in my locker Jace walks with me to our second period class.

"Hey Mr Ross, this is Lacey Bentley. She's new here." Jace tells the teacher in front.

"Miss Bentley. Why don't you tell us all about yourself. After you're done, you can sit next to Jace."

"Um, sure. Well my names Lacey, I like the color black and I hate dogs." I sit in the empty seat next to Jace and take out a notebook.
*after class*

"Hey, wait up." Jace says from behind me. "I never asked of your new to the town or not."

"No." Rule 1) no talking to people unless necessary. Only short answers.

"You don't talk much do you?"

"Not really."

"Well I was hoping we could hang out some time after school. There's this new diner around the corner, I'd love it if you would come."

"We'll see." I walk away and finish the rest of my classes. I don't sit with Jace in the rest of my classes.
*after school*

I walk out of the school and towards the elementary school down the road. I hear someone calling my name and turn around. Jace. This kid will not leave me alone.

"Hey, have you thought about coming to the diner with me?"

"I just have to ask my parents." He nods and I take out my phone.

Some guy from school wants me to go to a diner with him. Think I should go and check him out, definitely something up with him. And I'll still pick up Ry.

Mom
Sure thing. Be careful honey.

"Okay my mom said yes. Can we bring my little sister?"

"Yeah totally. Let's go."

We walk to the elementary school and wait for them to get out. "I'm going to go into the school to wait for her. You wait out here." I walk into the school and wait for Ryley.

5 minutes later Ryley comes up to me. "Hey sis. Is there a problem?"

"Maybe. I met a guy and I don't think he's normal. We're going to a diner with him and on the way there I need you to distract him. I'm going to use my ability to find out if he's a Hell Bent."

"Alright, I'll try."

This should be interesting.
