Once Jace and I arrive at my house we immediately go to the kitchen, for food obviously. We get a small snack then I go up to the training room, where I know for a fact my parents will be, and tell Jace to stay downstairs.

"Mom, dad can you come downstairs with me?" I ask them hesitantly.

"Sure hun, be down in a minute." My mom says tightening her ponytail. I walk back down to Jace, who's sitting in the living room eating a sandwich.

"You really made yourself at home didn't you?" I ask him amused.

"I'm hungry and a handful of goldfish wasn't good enough." He says defensively. I roll my eyes at him. What a dork. My parents come downstairs and stop in front of me, giving me a questioning look.

"So this is Jace. My boyfriend. I'm also his mate." My dad looks furious while my mom looks confused.

"You're dating a wolf?!" My dad yells.

"Maybe? I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys, but I figured you would react like this. Also it just happened. And now we need to go because we have somewhere to be." I grab my parents' arms and drag them outside.

"Where are you taking us?" My mom asks.

"Jace's house, we need to talk to his parents." They don't say another word as I drag them behind me all the way to Jace's house.

As soon as we knock the door opens to reveal Jack and Ryley, as if they were waiting for us.

"We've been waiting for you!" And they were. "My dad's in his office. Jace and I will try and hold him back if he tries to kill you. He has a personal vendetta against hunters." The 5 of us follow Jack to, I'm assuming, the office.

"Hey dad. I want you to meet some people." Jack says poking her head, not showing the rest of us.

"I can't right now Jacky, I'm very busy." He sighs.

"Dad it's really important and involves your alpha position." Jace says. His dad sighs again and nods slightly. They open the doors so he could see us.

"Dad, this is my girlfriend and mate and her family." Jace says slowly.

"You found you're mate, that's fantastic. But what does-" Jace cuts him off.

"My mates name is Lacey, Lacey Bentley." He utters quickly. His dad's face turns sour and he lunges at us. The twins react quickly by holding him back, as much as they can.

"How dare you bring these hunters to my home!" Their dad roared. His eyes started to shift between green to black.

"He's trying to shift, tell him!" Ryley shouts at Jack.

"They tried to save mom!" Jack yells over her dads rage. He stops after that sentence and stares at Jack then my parents.

"What are you talking about Jaqueline. Their kind killed your mother and many more."

"My parents were there when your late wife was killed. They tried to help, along with many other hunters."

"We took Ryley out for dinner and left Lacey home since she was sick. We saw a wolf run past us and then a hunter from the Tall family chase after it. We didn't hear of anything suspicious going on with the wolves so we were confused." My mother starts off.

"Usually if you hear off suspicious activity you have to tell the other hunters for back up. We followed and saw the wolf shift back into human form. She was bloody and we could see she was on the verge of dying. My wife and I fought off the hunter for as long as we could. We told Ryley to get a doctor but by the time time she got back, the she-wolf had already bled to death." My dad finishes off sadly.

"Why would a hunter help a wolf?" The twins' dad asks suspiciously.

My parents laugh softly. "We've tried to tell all bents, we kill the bad guys. Mainly rogues lurking where they're not supposed to, but also if they broke a law."

"Well I greatly appreciate you trying. I never found out what happened to the hunter?"

"Dead. As soon as your wife was pronounced dead, we had the right to kill her, so I did." My mother smiles at him like she won something, which I guess in a way she did.

"Alright, now that's taken care of, on to more important matters. Peace between our species."
