"You want to hang out tonight?" Jace asks as we walk to lunch.

"I'd love too, but I can't. I have to do some patrolling with my dad tonight." I say as we get in line for lunch.

"Why are you patrolling?"

"My dad heard that there we're some rogues around our neighborhood so he just wants to see if we can get rid of them." He nods and we sit down at our table.

"Ok then next week?" He asks.

"Yeah I should be free."

"Hey guys." Cam and Aria sit across from us.
"Hi. Where's Jack?" I ask.

"She had to stay behind for talking back to a teacher." Can tells us.

"Of course she did. What else is new?" Jace asks sarcastically.

"So you guys want to do a movie night tonight?" Aria asks.

"Can't. I'm patrolling with my dad in my neighborhood."

"Why are you doing that?" Cam asks.

"My dad heard rogues we're in our neighborhood so he wanted to check it out."
"Well we can do it next week. After you guys go on your second date." Cam says.

"How'd you guys now about that? We talked about it before you got here."

"We're vampires, we can hear things from miles away if we want to." Aria says.

"Whatever, but don't eavesdrop on my conversations. That's rude." I tell her. She holds up her hands in mock surrender and we finish our lunches.
