*Friday after school*

"Ready for our date tonight?" Jace asks coming up behind me.

"Yep. The girls will not stop bugging me about helping me get ready. It's kinda annoying."

"You get used to it." We laugh and walk out the school doors. I'm instantly attacked by 3 people and pulled away from Jace.

"Come on let's go get you ready. Jace how should we dress her?" Aria asks. She sounds like a business woman.

"Warm." He waves and walks towards his car.

"You know I can dress myself, right?"

"Yes, but we're doing everything. Aria is picking out your outfit, Jack is doing your makeup, and I'm doing your hair." Cam says.

"You guys just want to make me your own personal doll, don't you?"

"That is besides the point. This is my brother your going out with. It has to be perfect." I roll my eyes and let them do whatever.

*skipping the getting ready part*

"You look beautiful, Lace."

"May I just say, I did a good job on picking out the outfit." I'm wearing a Nirvana t-shirt with a jean jacket, maroon jeans, and black doc martens. My hair is in waves and I'm wearing simple makeup.

The doorbell rings, interrupting their little celebration. The door opens and my dad starts talking. My eyes go wide and I start panicking.

"Go stop my dad I'll be down in a minute." They run downstairs and I hear my dad shouting at them. I laugh then walk down.

"Hi Jace. Bye dad." I grab Jace's hand and rush out the door.

"Your dad asked my blood type. Should I be worried?"

"Probably. But don't worry, he won't do a thing if I have anything to say about it."

"Well as long as I won't need a blood transfusion then it's ok."

"Good. So where are we going?"

"A walk in the park. I was going to do dinner but then Ryley said you don't like romantic stuff. Plus it's a beautiful night. Not as beautiful as you though."

"Aw, that was so cliché and cheesy. But also cute. And I like dumb cheesy stuff."

"You read fanfictions don't you?"

"Shut up and walk."
