"Ry, we have to go. We have another one." Ryley groans in response, clearly not happy she has to get out of bed.

"But we just had one last week." She whines. "Can't the Hell Bents just take a break?" Now I'm sure you're wondering what a Hell Bent is.

A Hell Bent is what my family calls all the things that crawl out of Hell. Demons, werewolves, vampires, even witches and warlocks. We kill the bad ones, and sometimes we have to use a special ceremony to ward them off. And trust me, it's pretty difficult.

There were 3 families who had the power to do this. The Bentley's, our family, the Cascade's, and the Tall's. My parents each came from one of these families. My mother from the Cascade's and my father from the Bentley's. They fell in love, yadda, yadda, yadda, then me and my sister came along.

My mother and father are fighters. Hand-to-hand combat to be specific. They choose not to use weapons. Ryley is a weapons specialist, the youngest one ever. I can turn ordinary objects into weapons for Ryley, heal people, and make them stronger or fearless. I can also make Hell Bents fall for me and then lure them into a trap, that's my speciality.

"Come on. I'm going to get mom and dad up and pack up your weapons. We got about 5 threats in the area." I walk out of her room and into my parent's.

"Mom, dad I got a couple of calls this morning. About 5 new threats in the area so we have some ceremonies to perform." My parents nod at me and I leave. I get to my room and grab my fight suit.

My fight suit is almost skin tight. Its black and stretchy enough for me to fight in.

I walk downstairs and into the weapons room, which is disguised as a den.

I grab a duffel bag and put Ryley's favorite Sterling silver dagger in, some silver bullets, a gun, a steak, holy water, and a wand looking thing. I use the wand to draw Marks on people, the Marks give them special abilities.

Soon my parents come down and grab silver and brass knuckles. We quickly eat and head off towards our first ceremony.
