Chapter :

Flora drew her hair up in a ponytail as she watched Musa tackle the hair brush.

"You'll break it, Musa," Flora said softly as she watched her friend hurriedly comb through her straight blue hair.

It reached to her shoulders and waved with every time she moved.

"I'm okay, Flora. Sorry I'm getting us late."

"That's alright," Flora said softly, "Your hair looks pretty, Are you leaving it down, Musa?"

"Yeah," Musa quickly dropped the brush onto her bed, "I don't have time to put it up."

"Okay."

"Quick."

Musa grabbed her arm and the two girls ran out of their dormitory.

It was twenty minutes past one as the girls raced down the stairwell.

They had Advanced Combat now and they were late by five minutes to their first ever class.

Musa didn't bother with formal etiquette as she jumped on to the rail and slid down for the last flight of steps.

Flora ran after her and the two girls got outside the large doors.

Outside on the lawn, stood a group of girls ready for their first class.

Musa and Flora stumbled over to them to find Layla and Stella.

"You're here," Layla said as she stood with a hand on her hip, "What took you so long?"

"Even I'm here," Stella said flipping her long blond hair to the back.

"Griselda caught me dancing out of class."

"You got lectured for that?"Layla asked.

"I may have been headbanging," Musa said, "A little wildly."

Layla smiled before turning away.

"Really now, Ms. Musa," lectured Stella in a perfect Griselda imitation, "You are a princess."

The high note she hit at the end of the word got the girls laughing aloud.

"They're here!" A few girls shouted as they pointed to the main gate of the vast campus of Alfea.

The girls sobered slowly and looked over to the three speeding hover bikes that made it's way to the entrance.

"What?" Musa asked.

"No one said it would be the boys who tutored." Layla stated calmly.

"Oh my goodness!!"

All the girls were either excited or extremely elated.

Flora wondered if she was the only one who was nervous.

She wondered if Helia would have been sent but then thought not.

He was a pacifist after all.

Why would he be sent to teach Combat Class?

The boys got off their bikes and took off their helmets.

Flora watched as Riven was the first to stop.

His eyes swept over the long line of girls before landing on Musa for an extra minute.

Musa, though, gasped and nudged Flora.

"Your Prince charming is here, Flo!"

Flora perked up to see Helia walk up to stand beside Riven.

He glanced at her and smiled.

She blushed and smiled back.

This Combat Class was going to be a wreck.

"Why's he here?" Stella asked, "I thought he didn't fight."

Layla nodded.

"Maybe he came to see Flora," Musa teased.

"Musa!" Flora whispered to her as the boys walked past the group of girls and toward the main door where the Head Mistress waited for them.

"Oh, Flora!" Stella placed a hand draatically on her chest while the other rested on her forehead, "I just had to come see you so I could save you and leave your friends to die like I did the first time!"

Layla and Musa guffawed in laughter as Stella sighed.

"Girls."

The four friends froze.

Griselda stared down at them sternly, "Your class has already entered the grand hall. Why are you still here?"

"Sorry, Ms. Griselda."

They hurried past her look of disaproval and into the building.

A little distance away walked the group of their Combat Class and the four beautiful friends ran over to join them.

Relaxing, Flora looked over to where Helia walked with Ms. Faragonda and Riven.

He seemed to have his head bent as he observed the polished floor.

Musa nudged her and she looked over to see Stella and Layla stiffling their apparent and soft giggling.

"You guys..." Flora sighed.

She wasn't checking him out.

She was just... seeing...

The group entered a large room which had a balcony to it.

Ms. Faragonda spoke with the boys before turning to the girls.

"Ladies, these gentlemen will be taking care of your class this week. Please don't cause them any trouble, alright?"

"Yes, Head Mistress," They chorused.

The old lady left the room and the class turned to face the boys.

Stella pushed her way to the front, dragging Flora and Layla. Musa followed.

Riven looked at the music fairy once before turning away.

"I see that there are about 14 of you..." Helia said calmly as he looked through a long sheet of paper.

"Pair up," Riven ordered.

There was a hustle and lots of excited talking and laughing.

Flora noticed that the noise seemed to irritate Riven.

Another boy stood next to him, almost obediently.

He had short brown hair in contrast to Riven's dark red.

Musa grabbed Flora's hand, "Wanna pair up, Flora?"

"Sure," She smiled at her friend as Stella and Layla got close.

"Hurry up..." Riven said irritably.

Flora glanced up at Helia to catch him watching her.

He smiled kindly before looking away.

Her heart skipped a beat.

He was perfect!

The kind, gentle character he had... His sweet smile... And the regal way he carried himself...

But she couldn't help but wonder if the almost mysteriously dangerous aura around him was true.

"Alright!' Riven snapped, "Time to start."

Flora's stomach dropped in fear.

She felt Musa's hand squeeze hers and she knew that her friend had paired up with her to help her out.

Musa had an independent kind of a streak.

The thought that she'd take teaming up graciously to help Flora spoke volumes of their friendship.

Flora glanced over at Musa's grin and smiled.

With friends like these to watch her back she wouldn't have to worry about getting hurt.
