A loud thud made me jump out of my bed to see it was just my older sister waking me up.

"Wake up wake up I'm opening presents!" She said jumping up and down.

"Okay okay I'm up!" I said adding a giggle.

She grabbed my hand and pulled me downstairs. My heart jumped when I almost tripped over the last stair.

  "Are you okay Helena?" She said in a concerning tone.

      "I didn't even trip!" A giggle left my mouth. "Anyways it wouldn't hurt that much if I did trip." I pulled my hand out of her grip. "I'll race ya to the living room, last one their has to do the other's chores for a week?"

   "Okay , lets race!" She said in a competitive tone.

"3" I started to feel some adrenaline. "2" My heart was racing as fast as light. "1, GO!" Tori announced so that everyone could hear.

Everyone that knew my sister would know she's is a lot faster than flash! I could see her in front of me by miles.

By the time I had reached the living room she had hot cocoa in her hand sitting by the fireplace.

"I guess I'm doing chores this week, fun." I said sarcastically with a grin on my face. She let out a jolly laugh.

Tori had blonde wavy hair with rich brown eyes. She had jean shorts on with a blue T-shirt that said "I'm a Greek goddess on my B-day". She was obsessed with the Percy Jackson book series. Tori had just turned 18 a few hours ago.

My parents walked into the living room.
"We have a big surprise!" My parents said in unison. I was so excited to see what Tori was getting. I could see her eyes dancing with glee. I hope the gift is something special.
