A week had past by and soon it was the start of Training Camp. Emiri was with the rest of her class standing in front of a few buses as they listened to Aizawa give them the rundown.

"Now that you've finished up your first semester at U.A High, it's time for Summer Vacation to officially begin. However, don't think that these will be months of rest for you heroes in the making. At this camp, we'll push you to go beyond your limits. You're aiming to become plus ultra."

"Yes sir!" The class exclaimed.

"This is going to be so much fun!" Mina exclaimed, hopping up and down with a wide grin on her face, "Don't you think so, Koyama?"

Emiri just nodded, her attention being pulled from Mina as Uraraka started cheering— Mina and Kaminari joined in not too soon after.

"I heard some of class 1-A is taking remedial courses! Does that mean some of you actually failed the final exams?" Someone called out and Emiri turned to look at a boy with blond hair, Monoma Neito if she was remembering correctly. "That would be really embarrassing! Especially since you're supposed to be so much better than my class! You must be wallowing in shame!" He was cut off by a ginger haired girl, Kendo, chopping him on his shoulder, making the boy fall to the ground.

"Don't mind him." She said before dragging Monoma to the bus.

"Oh, the rest of class B!" Midoriya exclaimed.

"It's nice to see you outside the Sports Festival. I guess now we're not technically rivals." A girl with dark green hair said with a grin.

"Time to get on the bus!" Kendo called out.

"Okay!" The rest of class B responded, and hey all started running to the bus.

"The girls of class A and class B? It's like a buffet of bombshells!" M*neta said.

"Dude, get yourself together, for real." Kirishima said.

"Attention class A, our bus is here! Everyone line up in seating order!" Iida called out.

"Guess it's finally time to head out, huh?" Emiri said as she followed her class to get onto the bus.

Once everyone was seated, Aizawa started talking.

"Here's the deal. We'll be on this bus for about an hour before our first stop. Make sure you star focused." Though it seemed nobody heard him due to the fact everyone was talking over each other.

Emiri sat near the middle of the bus next to Todoroki. The two of them seemed to be the only quiet ones within the bus— Todoroki seeming to be lost in through and Emiri busing herself by writing stuff in her notebook.

"Whatcha writing?" Someone asked and Emiri flipped the page and looked up to see Mina peeking over the back of her chair, bending to get a better look at what Emiri was writing down.

"Nothing much. Just some plans for camp. Ways I can improve my quirk and all that." She said.

"Oh! That's smart! You always come up with great ideas Koyama!" Mina exclaimed.

"T-Thanks." Emiri whispered before she went back to her notebook, there was still a long bus ride ahead of her.

An hour later, the bus pulled over to the side of the road and stopped. Everyone was let out to stretch their legs. Looking in front of her Emiri saw a forest stretching out beyond the horizon, though she also noticed a black car parked off to the side.

"Finally, I needed off that bus!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"This isn't much of a rest area." Kirishima said.

"No... and where's class B?" Jiro asked.

"You don't really think we stopped here just so you could stretch your legs, do you?" Aizawa asked.

Suddenly the doors to the nearby car opened. "Heya Eraser." A voice said from inside the car.

"Long time no see."

Emiri watched as a duo familiar heroes stepped out of the car.

"Your feline fantasies are here! Say meow!" A woman in a red cat costume said. Mandalay— her quirk was Telepath, she could send messages directly into the minds of people around her, though people couldn't send messages back.

"Purrfectly cute and cat-like girls!" The second woman said, this one being in a blue cat costume. Pixie-bob— her quirk was Earth Flow, she could manipulate the earth to her will.

"You can call us the Wild Wild Pussycats!"

Emiri had seen both of them, along with the other two of their team in action on TV a few times.

"These are the pros you will be working with during the summer Training Camp." Aizawa said.

"They're a four person hero team who specialized in mountain rescues! The pussy cats were founded when we were kids like forever ago! This marks their twelfth year working as a-" Midoriya said, only to be interrupted by Pixie-bob shoving a paw in his face.

"I'm pretty sure your match must be off. I'm eighteen at heart." She said.

Looks like age is a sore subject for her. Emiri thought.

"Everyone, say hello." Aizawa said.

"Hello! Nice to meet you!" The class greeted.

"We own this whole stretch of land right here, everything you can see." Mandalay said as she pointed towards the forest. "The summer camp you're staying at is there, at the base of the mountain."

That's far. The class thought.

"Uh, then why did we stop all the way up here instead?" Uraraka asked from beside Emiri.

"I'm afraid we both know the answer to that." Tsuyu said.

"Oh no..." Emiri said, a sneaking feeling of dread rising in her chest.

"Um... back on the bus. Quick, let's go." Sero said.

"It's too late, we've sealed our fate the moment we stepped off the bus." Emiri said, watching as he classmates slowly inched towards the bus.

"The current time is 9:30 in the morning. If you're fast about it you might make it there by noon." Mandalay said, an unnerving grin on her face.

"No way..." Kirishima said.

"Kitties that don't make it there by 12:30 don't get any lunch!"

"You should of guessed students, the trending camp.. has already begun."

With those words, the ground under Emiri disappeared and her along with the rest of her classmates started to fall. Luckily, Pixie-Bob had made sure that some of the Earth was soft below them so there wouldn't be any injuries once they landed.

"Good news!" Mandalay shouted from the top of the cliff, "Since is private land, you can use your quirks as much as you want to! You've got three full hours, you should be able to make it to the facility in that time! That is, if you can get through the beasts forest."

Emiri looked in front of her, from where she had been the trees didn't seem to bad, it had looked at if they were just trees from an average forest. But once she found herself on the same ground as they were, she felt fear. The trees towered high above her and she could barely see through the first few rows because of how dense the leaves were.

Emiri had a sneaking suspicion that this was going to be a bit more than just walking through a forest.
