Chapter 30
That weekend, Emiri met up with Sero, Ojiro, Mina, Kaminari, and Jiro and the group headed over to Momo's house for the study session. The group was standing in front of a large gate that Emiri assumed to be the entrance to Momo's house— or well, the front gate. She couldn't really see Momo's house from where she was standing. Though she couldn't really say anything, she couldn't see her own house from their front gate either.
"Woah, I knew her family had cash, but I didn't know she was this rich." Kaminari said.
Emiri stepped forwards as her classmates were gawking at the front gate and pressed the button on the intercom, hearing the ring of a doorbell.
"I've been waiting for you, everyone! Please, come in!" Momo's voice exclaimed from the speaker. Not even a second later, the gates opened, allowing the group to walk inside.
Once inside, they were led through the hallways by a butler into a great hall where a large table was set up. Emiri took a notebook and a pencil case out of her bag and placed it on the table in front of her.
"I could not feel anymore out of place right now." Ojiro said.
"Yeah, me too." Sero said.
A few seconds passed and Emiri looked towards the door at the sound of some glass rattling. Momo was walking in with a cart in hand, some tea cups and small snacks set up on it. She had an excited look on her face and there looked to be a bounce in her step.
"Is something wrong?" Momo asked.
"No. Everything's perfect." The group said, flowers surrounding them.
"Alright, then! Let's get studying!"
The next few hours consisted of studying. They first worked on math— mainly quadratics since that seemed to be what most of them struggled with. Then they worked on Classic Japanese— which afterwords Emiri understood it a whole lot more than when she first began studying.
By the end of the session everyone seemed satisfied with what they had studied, and whatever they hadn't covered during those few hours they would cover tomorrow.
"Alright then, now it's time for practical training!" Emiri exclaimed as she clapped her hands together.

The group got to her house- most of them commenting on how big it was. It wasn't as big as Momo's house, but since her parents were pretty wealthy as heroes, it was still much bigger than the average Japanese house.
"Alright, the training room is right down here." Emiri said, opening a door to the basement. "The light switch is at the bottom of the stairs so sorry if it's a little dark on the way down." She said.
"You sure you're not trying to kidnap us or something?" Kaminari said as he let out a nervous chuckle.
"Don't worry, you can trust me." Emiri said, glancing over her shoulder and giving him a reassuring smile.
She got to the bottom of the stairs and flipped the lights on, a bright white light shining down on a large room. It was a large room that had what looked to be a battle stage in the middle, as well as an observation room that overlooked the battle center, though Emiri walked right past that and went towards a doorway near the observation room.
"This place is insane." Ojiro muttered from behind Emiri. "No wonder you're so good at fighting Koyama."
"It takes more than a fancy training room to be a good fighter, Ojiro." She said as she placed her hand on a gridded pad that was right next to the door. "Though, it does help."
"Identified: Koyama Emiri. Welcome bwack bwaby swister. Don't work yourself too hward, okway!" Emiri tensed up at the sound of her older brother's voice, her cheeks burning up. She had completely forgotten that her brother had one of his friends program the identification system which allowed him to say personalized messages for each person in their family.
"Bwaby..." Mina and Kaminari said together, struggling to hold in their laughter.
"Swister?" Sero and Jiro finished, joining Mina and Kaminari in their now uncontrollable laughter. Even Ojiro and Momo were having a hard time containing their laughter.
Toshiaki, I swear to god- Emiri thought, "My older brother is... doting." She said simply as the door slid up, revealing a second room. "Lets just go in."
The room they had entered was about the same size as the other room, though this one was full of dummies and training devices. There were separated rooms with black out shades— both her mother and her brother's quirks could accidentally blind someone so to be safe she they had blackout shades installed.
Emiri directed everyone to where they would best be able to improve their quirks. Kaminari was led to one of the blackout rooms so he wouldn't;t have to worry about shocking anyone if he got out of control. Ojiro was placed in an area with dummies that moved around to practice attacking multiple moving opponents and using his tail for mobility. Sero was placed in an area similar to the one Ojiro was in with moving dummies to work on capturing moving opponents with his tape as well as avoiding attacks. Mina was lead to an area with different types of hard materials to work on her acid control. Jiro was in the same area as Mina, and was going to work on hardening her earphone jacks by hitting them against the different types of materials. Lastly, Momo was lead to an open space where Emiri turned on a humanoid-like Robot that heals a wooden staff, Emiri had set it on Level 4 out of 10 and took a step back as the Robot and Momo started a fight- the Robot was to help Momo with her reaction times while fighting. Emiri moved over to another area similar to the one Momo was in and started a fight of her own after setting the Robot on level 7.
And just like that, the first day of their practical training in the weekend had started.
