( It has been a couple of years since the defeat of Eggman and Infinite. Since then, the world has been at peace and its heroes have been getting some years of needed rest. Two of which have created a life for themselves for themselves)

" ( Looks over the balcony of his new home as the sun begins to rise). Things sure have changed since the victory over Eggman and Infinite. But what was everyone thinking about disbanding the resistance the way they did? They've just put the world in even bigger danger. Eggman is still out there and he's always planning something." Said Shadow as he was joined by his wife Amy, who was holding their baby girl." It was their decision Shadow, but you and I both know that this whole thing will never end until we stop Eggman. So far, we've always and have only been able to hold him back or keep him and bay. The only way this peace will last is if we bring him in. Worst yet, Sonic never reported in a couple of weeks after he left. He's always been good about that. Somethings not right with all of this, but the gang just won't listen." Said Amy as she let's their daughter play with her finger while she held her. 

" Looks like we may have to go with that backup plan. Someone just activated a Chaos Emerald. ( Grabs his wife and daughter, then teleports them all to the place where he was once found. The only difference is,  the place seems to be modified and upgraded). I've had this place modified specifically for our daughter. ( Walks over to the machine and places one of the two chaos emeralds that kept with him into a capsule in the machine). It will allow her to survive the trip to another world. Hopefully a place far different from ours, a place where she can grow without having to fend for herself. But in time, she will be awakened to a new area.  For it will be then, that her new home will need her." Said Shadow as Amy placed their daughter in the part of the capsule that was meant for a baby. "Will she be away for the trip there? I don't want her to feel scared." Said Amy. That was until they felt the ground shake.

" No, it will put her to sleep, but we need to know what that was." Said Shadow as they were contacted by Tails. " ( See's that he was able to reach Shadow and Amy as their faces appeared on his digital screen). Glad I was able to reach you guys. It's Eggman, he's at it again. But only this time he's sending his daughter to another dimension. ( Sends them the dimension coordinates). I'd like for you to help us fend them off. Everyone else is doing what they can around the world. Our army has even taken up positions to hold off the enemy. Sonic is still nowhere to be found." Said Tails. " ( Looks to his left to see Amy put in the coordinates to the machine, then turns back to look at Tails). If the faker can be trusted to save his friends. Then what good is he for disappearing without a word? We'll help, but we'll be protecting outside of the world. Silver and Blaze should already be engaging the enemy. Since their sector is right next to ours." Said Shadow as he cut the call and hung up on Tails. He then looks over toward any who has activated the portal. " There's no turning back now,  Our daughter maybe that world's only hope." Said Amy as she was hugged from behind by Shadow as the two of them watched the capsule that housed their daughter and a chaos emerald. went through the portal.

" Become a better protector than us Shara. Keep everyone safe, and know that we will always love you." Said  Amy and Shadow together as they quickly ran to assist Silver and Blaze.
