I was standing right in front of the door , I was paralysed " Come on Ally , I will eat your demos if you don't start walking right now !!!" Jenny warned while I ran to the entrance of the building. While I was entering I saw lots of pictures ( inside frames )of producers on the walls with some quotes under them . One day you will be there lol my mind surprises me sometimes with weird thoughts . Jenny started guiding me through this giant building and we arrived to a room that had a smiley sticker in the door , lol wtf . Jenny opened the door and we entered in the room . " Good morning Jenny and young lady " a guy greeted us , I kinda tried to hide behind Jenny but I'm taller than her ( which will be pretty awkward ) . " Is this Ally the DJ girl that you talked about??" another guy asked . " Yes she is, and we totally should get inside the mixing studio so she could show you guys how awesome her mixes are" Jenny said and we proceed to walk in direction to the studio . The studio was giant , it had lots of mixing tables with most various kind of knobs and decks , FX slots and other components. " Ally can you told me your full name ?? " a guy with a pen and a notebook asked me . " My full name is Ally Parks " " Thanks , so you can set your stuff and start whenever you want." the guy told me . I walked to the tables while I unpacked my stuff . I connected my launchpad , my cellphone ( yes I use my cellphone as a filter pad to my mixes ) , my computer and my headphones . While I plugged everything I remembered how lucky I was to be here and how awesome this was ( at least I think like this ). I ran my DJ software ( Mine is traktor) and inserted my pen drive with the songs that I was going to play . I took a deep breath and started playing , in the beginning I decided that I could keep the BPM's ok but since I had to mix , I sped the things a little bit . I added filters and I turned the midi and the treble all the way to the right side . I made loops , and I used the hot cues that were available in my mixer . I decided to play one of my songs 'dubstep blender' . I turned my crossfader all the way to the second deck and began to play my song . After playing more 2 songs I dropped the bass and I was finished. After that I thanked and letted them decided whatever the hell they wanted to do with me ( don't be such a perv ). I sat in a couch and I could hear some stuff that they were saying. "She is perfect to dead studio " No, you scumbag beat studio is better !!!" " Spinnin records would give us a good price " " You guys know what?? I think she will fit perfectly in OWSLA"
Suddenly I stopped hearing them talking . After about fifteen minutes the big door opened and I was exploding with anxiety. " Ally ..." "We loved you performance ... and because of your awesomeness we couldn't choose a good studio ... soooo we decided that we should let you play in the mushroom music festival . At the end of the festival one of the studios will choose you. So you just have to give your best in the festival and the studios will do the remaining work . Is that ok for you Ally ??" Ally's boss said . " I .. I would ... " I tried to talk but I was speechless. " yes it is " Jenny answered quickly and gave me the 'you don't need to thank me ' look. " We are really happy to meet you Ally you have a future in the DJ world. You're also really gifted, most persons can't produce music like you do . So get those fingers prepared and get some rest you look tired so we see you tomorrow." " thank you guys so much this is the best thing that could have happened to me !!!" I thanked them for being the best and then quitted with Jenny . As we stepped out of the building I felt a relief sensation , which was awesome . We entered in the car and Jenny started the engine. While I was in that car I fell asleep.
