Norman and Y/N Jayden resign from the FBI, to the disappointment of their boss (who says that Jayden and Y/N could have a very promising career ahead of them). They say that the case and their obsession with it made them lose touch with "normal life," and they need to step back from it all. As they hand in their gun and badge they express doubt about ever returning to the bureau. While they are given a chance to keep their ARIs (due to the fact that a new model is scheduled to be released next month), they resist the temptation, feeling that it won't help them "get back to reality."
