Ethan and Maddie are proven to be innocent. Ethan and Maddie are seen being released from prison; much to their surprise, Shaun shows up alive at the police station and is happy to see his father and step-mother again. Grace apologizes for what she had done and leaves Ethan and Maddie to reunite with his son and her step-son, who they promise never to leave again.
