The chapter begins with Madison and Y/M/N entering a hospital to meet John Sheppard's mother, Ann Sheppard. They hope to find out what happened to John's brother and friend, specifically their names. After talking with Dolores Luz, the receptionist, Madison and Y/M/N are directed to Ann's room at the end of the hallway. When Madison and Y/M/N enter and asks her about her sons and their friend, it is clear she is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Ann is able to remember very little from her past and her mind wanders frequently. Madison and Y/M/N aid her memory by showing her different objects relating to her past. Ann starts to recall more and more. Madison and Y/M/N is eventually able to get the information they need. Having discovered the names they need, they leave the hospital, ending the chapter.
