Long ago when Rex Lapis was but an adeptus, long before the Archon Wars, he wondered Liyue. He would watch over the people and help anyone he could. He had climbed to the highest point and there he was surprised. There a woman tended to the garden. She heard him and turned. She was no ordinary woman, she was an archon.

"Hello, might I get you anything? Some tea perhaps.", she offered smiling.
"Who are you?", Rex Lapis asked. He had never seen this archon before.
"Oh how rude of me! I apologize! I'm Arian.", she walked over with a cup of tea, "Your turn!"
Arian, Archon of the sky that seperates the earth and the heavens. Archon of fun, arts, and trickery.
Rex Lapis took the cup and sat with her. She intrigued him and he was always open to learning something new.
"I am Rex Lapis, an adeptus.", he said and took a sip. The taste was something new, "What kind of tea is this? I don't believe I have had it before."
"Well I'd hope not!", the archon chuckles sitting across from him, "I grew it myself. I haven't worked out a name yet. What do you think?" She had been growing a tea perfect for her taste in drinks.
"It is a sweet flavor, but it isn't over powering. It seems to be energizing.", he gave an honest opinion, this opinion seemed to make her happy.
"So you like it!", Arian grinned getting excited. Something about her let Rex Lapis let his guard down. He smiled softly and nodded. The two spent some time talking.

"Since you are from the ground, you meet people right?", Arian asked curiously.
"Yes, other humans and adepti.", he explained.
"Could... Could I go down there with you? I haven't left this summet before and I want know what it's like down there." She said grinning. Rex Lapis couldn't help but smile when she got excited like this. It was so pure, untainted by the world.
"Of course, the people of Liyue have the most interesting festivals. We could check it out for ourselves.", he offered and she nodded excitedly. Her reaction amused him. "Then let's go."
