[Ice covered Port Town]

When both Sandalphon and Michael realized that Gabriel was standing before them alongside a thousands of angels in the starry cold night sky, they were then both shock at the same time grateful that reinforcements have arrived at the time when they were exhausted. When both archangels were shocked of this sudden showcase of numbers, the humans living within the walls of the town were on the other hand truly dumbfounded by this scenery.

Never had they dreamed of witnessing such an entrance in their whole life. They never even considered the fact that they would be able to witness such scenery happening in the night belonging to the monsters.

Such a phenomenon was a sight to behold. For everyone all they ever wished was for this night to end and dawn quickly come to welcome a new tomorrow where they are alive, thus this scene alone was totally something out of their expectation. Plus what was more shocking was that all of this newly arrived army of people with white wings were currently standing front against the whole wave of monsters and demons in the sky. Even the demons themselves halted in their tracks when such an army descended.

Thus with two forces standing off against each other while keeping each other at bay, not one of them from either of the side even dared to take a single step forward to battle. So taking this momentarily stalemate as a chance, Gabriel then briefly announced the arrival of the whole reinforcement group.

Alongside his arrival, both Ariel and Uriel also came down beside both Gabriel and Sandalphon and made known their presence in this army of angels.

"You guys ok?" asks Ariel

"Well it looks like the demons never defeated you lot, and here i thought both of you are beaten black and blue" commented Uriel upon noticing that both the said archangels were simply exhausted

Upon hearing their voices, both Michael and Sandalphon shared their own gratitude towards them.

"Apparently were fine... were just exhausted... so exhausted to the point the we cant even lift a finger" replied Michael

"Well aren't you sound disappointed, Do you want me to beat you up?" roared Sandalphon as she replied to Uriel's disappointed tone

"Goodness gracious! your already on your knees and yet you still have some energy to spout out some loud words with that feisty mouth of yours" smirked Uriel

"You!!! Don't you use fancy words on me dumbass!!!" retorted Sandalphon as she greeted her teeth

"Why? Don't tell me no one ever taught you how to use and understand such words... oh my! i guess no one did teach you" said Uriel

"What did you say? I dare you to repeat that next to my ear" argued Sandalphon

"Wont you guys just quit it? especially you Uriel! I know that you learned some fancy new words due to the rune law of wisdom, but you don't have to rub it off you know... Plus they are exhausted, cant you give them a break?" asks Ariel

"... I'm just stating an actual fact you know... but since your the guard of the queen, then perhaps i can back off for now" said Uriel as he crossed his arms across his chest

"You know... I know that your just trying to break us off, but by the way you sound it off, i couldn't help but feel like your pitying me" said Sandalphon as she look out towards Ariel with a teary eyed expression

"Eh? No! i didn't mean it that way!"

In that moment while the archangels were conversing with each other, Asagi then slowly came from behind them as she surprised both Michael and Sandalphon for her presence in the town. Considering that the town was currently a dangerous place, where a huge battle may erupt at any moment, both of them couldn't help but call out in worry towards her

"Looks like both of you are still fine" said Asagi

"Your majesty?!?!" exclaimed Michael

"Your majesty!!!! What are you doing here?" asks by Sandalphon

"Why is she here? Gabriel! what is the meaning of this?" asks Michael in panic

Upon seeing Michael's panicked state, Gabriel couldn't help but smile wryly as he let Asagi explain her circumstances for coming to this place.

"Michael! Calm down! I'm the one who wanted to go here, i ordered everyone not to intervene my decision" said Asagi

"But your majesty! this place is currently dangerous, the battle may break out at any moment... you need to get to safety" explained Michael

"Is that how you thought of me? am i so frail to the point that you have to extensively protect me from harm... Michael! I'm not weak, I'm not some damsel in distress... your too overprotective" said Asagi

"But your majesty! your life is not yours alone anymore, you are the symbol of our kingdom, your very existence is what hold the kingdom together... if something ever happened to you, then everything we've worked hard for will be for naught" insisted by Michael

Hearing his explanation, Asagi was somewhat grateful for Michael's concern, but at the same time feel bothered by his overprotectiveness. Nevertheless she get where his concern were coming from and calmly explained her circumstances.

"Is that so? But you don't have to worry, I've already taken what you said into consideration" said Asagi

"What do you mean?" asks Michael

"Simply put this is not my real body, this is in fact one of my skills available in my skill set "Mirror Avatar"... in other words you could say this is my avatar, clone, doppelganger that is walking along the earth" said Asagi

"..."

"While this avatar avatar is down here, my real body is back safely at my throne in a sleep mode"  stated Asagi

"Sleep mode?" asks Sandalphon

"Yes Sleep mode! in order to control this body, i have to temporarily bring my consciousness to this body through shared senses... and since a human brain cant operate two body at the same time, my original body had no choice but to fall asleep while my consciousness is transferred to this avatar... the only way for me to return back to my original body is to either cancel this skill or this body dies" explained by Asagi

Upon hearing her explanation, Michael then sigh ruefully as he sat back down unto the floor. But since her majesty had taken her safety in consideration when performing such stunt, Michael then had no choice but to let her be, after all he cant stop her every time he find something wrong. He is just a mere pawn to her queen, thus he has no right to go against her wishes.

"Fine... you win... but let me ask you this question..." said Michael

"Ask away!!!" replied Asagi cheerfully

"Why did you just use that spell now? why didn't you use it back when you were conducting your infiltration operation back at the empire?" asks Michael

"Eh? Ah! Well... this is a newly created spell so...." said Asagi as her eyes wander around

"Newly created!!! Are you telling me you experimented on yourself a few moments ago? You experimented a prototype spell on your body? how reckless can you be?" asks Michael

"Ah? No! this isn't my first time using such spell, the last time i use it was when i transferred my consciousness to a frog and a bird"

"Frog... Bird?"

In that moment silence descended upon everyone as the atmospheres suddenly turned awkward. However as if breaking the ice of this awkward atmosphere, the demons and the demonic beast that flooded the whole snowy plain then finally let out their frustration from  this newly arrived army and roared till their lungs out.

As they roared, the whole snowy plain naturally shook from the magnitude of their roar due to their sheer numbers. For a moment even the whole army of angels themselves were intimidated. Nevertheless since the demonic beast and demons dared to even roar in the presence of their queen, which is equivalent to challenge of authority, everyone then for some reason became fired up as they held their weapons tighter.

In response to that roar, Asagi then finally gave out her order.

"Stand your ground! Do not let their mere numbers intimidate you! remember who has the strength advantage here... Its not them its us, so show them what were made off"

Hearing her order to charge, Gabriel then asked away.

"What shall we do with them?"

At that question, Asagi replied.

"Destroy all of them"

Upon hearing that Gabriel laughed for a bit as he relayed their queen's words.

"You heard her men! destroy all of them"

In regards to that everyone then cheered in unison as they showed their fighting spirit, comparable to the will of the demons to fight. In that moment under Gabriel's lead, he then led the charge.

"Charge!!!!"

In that single word all angels in the sky then finally charged towards the wave of demonic beast and the demons flying in the sky. As they all brandished their weapons, the army of angels then soon collided with the wave of demonic beast the demons in they sky. At that their very first skirmish in the northern continent then ensued. 

As the battle finally begun, Asagi then quickly puts both of her hand behind both Michael and Sandalphon as she plans to quickly repair their bodies and restores their respective mana pool. But since both of her archangels has a very large mana pool, the restoration would then naturally take time to finish.

"Mana transfer!!! Restoration!!!"

While she treated both Michael and Sandalphon, she then turned her attention towards btoh Ariel and Uriel and ordered them to make their move.

"Ariel, you lead your unit to deal with the demonic beast below... Uriel, you aid Gabriel in taking down the demons... no matter how strong the angels are, we cant ignore the sheer numbers of the enemy"

"But your majesty what about you? Who will protect you while you treat them?" asks Ariel

"Don't worry about me, after all those humans are also here" said Asagi as she pointed her nose towards another block away from them.

Following her gaze, Ariel then saw the former emperor Amos from afar waving his hand in the air, while being accompanied by his three guards. Based on the performance of the four people back in the struggle against the empire, Ariel then knew just how troublesome are their abilities to fight.

Understanding the situation, she then nodded in agreement as she flew away together with Uriel who look back to them for one last time before going into battle.

When they left, Amos then slowly approached Asagi from afar as he takes in the fresh freezing air of the northern continent.

"Hah! I never would have thought that i would be able to showcase my power in this barbaric lands" said Amos

"Showcase? aren't you going to protect me?" asks Asagi

"Nope! I plan to aid your army by expending my power on top of the town's walls, of course in exchange Benkei and Irish would guard you, and Leon would be with me to guard my six" said Amos

"... Are you serious?" asks Asagi with a twitching smile

"Of course I'm serious! Its been so long since i was able to stretch out my arms like this in a battlefield... its like a once in a lifetime chance"

As Amos said those words, he then climb the towns wall together with Leon as he eyed the snow snowy plain which turned into a bloody battlefield between two forces. the one's monster siege, has then turned into a full blown skirmish between two powers.

Stretching his arm out into the air, he then opened up about a hundred of portals with the tip of the mana cannons protruding out of it as he charged all of his golden weapons and use it against the demons. Since it was already proven that his own weapons could hurt the angels, he was then sure that his own weapon could also hurt the demons as well. After all both the demon and angel are like two sides of the same coin.

When his cannons finally finished charging up after sucking up his mana pool like crazy, he then finally unleashed his magic cannon's destructiveness towards the barbaric land of the north

"Open Barrel!!! Fire!!!"
