[Azure Kingdom, Sky Castle]

Upon receiving the news of the land being sighted by the patrolling angels who looked over at the distant water surface, Asagi then quickly dismissed all of the people in the meeting room as she let them spend their leisure time around her kingdom, while she returned to her throne room and begun assessing the situation at hand.

However despite being dismissed by Asagi herself, Queen Celestia herself together with Pope Michael, Amos, and the current emperor Rusch then returned with her to the throne room as they somehow expressed their interest towards the new land that has been sighted at the far distant surface of water in the horizon.

Of course all of the people here are the people who are somewhat close in relationship to Asagi herself, with an exception of the current emperor of the Amid Empire. Alongside the said group, even Michael, Uriel, Sandalphon, and Ariel with the exception of Gabriel are inside the throne room waiting for Asagi's order in case of the new land.

While taking her time to walk across the throne room before settling down on her own throne, Asagi herself then opened up a panel of the system which displayed the current time broadcast of the northern part of her kingdom, which is similar to a cctv on earth and took a look at the protruding land on the horizon of the endless sea.

After that she then turned her attention towards the people inside the room as she listened to everyone's comment on this new land.

"A new land beyond the sea, I never would have imagined that i would be able to witness of finding a new land that we haven't seen before" exclaimed Queen Celestia

"Indeed! in the prospect of research, finding a new land leads to a different culture, norm, and manners... but in the prospect of religion, finding a new land leads to the expansion of the church" said Pope Michael

"Hah! Are you lot planning to spread your abhorrent religion unto the new land? Please don't do such a thing which could defile such new prospect of expansion" said Amos

"You... You fiend! Catholic religion isn't an abhorrent religion! Take that back!!!" roared Pope Michael

"But pushing that aside, what do you mean prospect of expansion? Are you planning to expand the control of your empire above waters and make the new land your own?" inserted Queen Celestia

"I would have done that if i were still the emperor, unfortunately I'm supposed to be dead on paper, thus i cant do such a thing that would attract suspicion of my existence to other people... but that cant be said the same towards the new emperor right?" asked Amos as he turned his attention towards his half brother Emperor Rusch

Upon realizing that everyone's attention was turned towards him, Emperor Rusch then asked his half brother.

"Is conquering a new land any fun at all? I'm not fond of war you know"

Hearing his answer Amos himself was stunned for a moment, as Queen Celestia and Pope Michael seemed to look favorably towards the new emperor of the Amid Empire.

"Are you not interested in expanding your domain? You cant think like that" said Amos

In face of Amos words, Emperor Rusch then replied.

"Why would i ever want to expand my domain? that's too much work and many people would suffer you know, plus issuing a decree to expand the territory requires a tremendous amount of money... i cant afford that at all"

"Wha-"

Upon seeing the interaction between the brothers, both Pope Michael and Queen Celestia somewhat snickered at their conversation as they look more favorably towards the new Emperor of the Amid Empire.

While the rest of the people were focused on the situation between the brothers, Asagi herself on the other hand called out to her own archangels as she discussed the matter of the new land on their own.

"A new land eh? So how do we approach this? Should we approach it the same when we made contact in the middle continent?" asks Asagi

"You mean sending a huge force of angels to deal with the sea goblins? Isn't that a special case?" asks Michael

"Well... i normally didn't experience the first contact, so i got no idea on how to do the approach at all" said Ariel

"Me too" added Sandalphon

"Unfortunately so am i" said Uriel

Hearing their words, Asagi then think up about something for a bit as she then suggested one approach that they can take.

"How about we send a scout team? they will gather information within that new land and report back to me in 3 days time, and when the scouting is done and i have immediately received a report regarding the new land, i would then be able to assess the appropriate action we should take considering the new land circumstances" suggested Asagi

"We could do that, but who will scout out the new land?" asks Uriel

Upon hearing that question, Asagi then answered

"I nominate both Michael and Sandalphon, with their strength i believe that they can somehow withstand the challenges in the new land"

"What? are you sure your majesty?" asks Michael in surprise

"Well you can at least do that much right? after all we are not the only ones in this castle any longer, thus i can somehow assign you to missions like reconnaissance with ease of mind" answered Asagi

"I see... in that case, i will follow your will" said Michael

"So am i, after all this will be my very first assignment yet" said Sandalphon

[Port Town, Northern Continent]

After a few hours when Asagi had sent them out, both Michael and Sandalphon had succesfully landed on the less conspicuous and less crowded area of the port town. However even thought it is called less crowded, both of them had somehow observed one disturbing sight when they arrived at the port Town through the air, the Town itself which was supposed to be buzzing with humans seemed to only have few humans living in its settlement.

It may have been because of the cold weather, but they couldn't be sure yet considering that they only came up with such conclusion based only a minor observation they had made. With that they had then landed on the ground as they hid their wings using a type of magic which is able to dematerialize their wings at will.

Luckily for them Asagi herself had made some research regarding on how to hide their wings to appear more human using particle magic during her free time, a type of magic completely different than an optical magic which can camouflage objects. By using such magic and temporarily lending such ability towards her own archangels, they were then able to de materialize their own wings at their own free will.

"Its quite slippery... there are ice all over" commented Sandalphon as she observed her own foot stepping unto frail ice on the floor

"Indeed! Watch your steps... we have three days to gather information about this land so try not to stand out so much" said Michael as he covered his whole body with his own fur cloak

"Were investigating this place, wouldn't us snooping around attract some unwanted attention already? Its too tall for an order to lay low" retorted Sandalphon

Hearing her retort, Michael let out a sigh as he replied.

"Its all in the process..."

"Process... right... anyway ill head over at the towns wall, I might be able to understand the circumstances of the people of this town just by observing its enviroment" said Sandalphon

"If that is the case then I'll head over at the port and the nearest pub... I might be able receive some information through hearsay" said Michael

"Alright! You've got your assigned place and I've got mine, we'll meet up at the town square or town hall at the strike of 12" said Sandalphon as she then left the area

Seeing that sandalphon had left already, Michael then also left for his assigned place as he walk out towards the nearest port area.

While Michael was walking towards the port, Sandalphon on the other hand was currently walking at the pathway of the town as she occasionally see some rugged looking people warily looking at her way. Most likely since she looks different from them, all the people she passed by couldn't help but turn their gaze towards her direction

As she continued to walk she then finally arrived at the towns square as she completely saw a non-maintained and completely barren town square with frozen ice and piling snow.

Comparing such scene of the square towards the square of her kingdom, Sandalphon couldn't help but feel bitter about her surrounding s as she observed the poor lifestyle of the people living in the settlements of the town.

At the very center of the town near the square's frozen and dried up water fountain, Sandalphon herself saw a ragged looking bear doll lying unto the floor just right beside the broken crates. Picking it up and dusting off the snow piled unto it, Sandalphon simply held it tight as she looked around the area of the town and headed towards the towns gates.

Naturally as she walks all over the town Sandalphon herself was currently wearing her purple colored armor which was hidden under the hooded cloak that she was currently wearing over it. Due to her armor not matter how slippery the ice maybe, simply the weight of the armor itself was heavy enough to keep herself from slipping unto the floor. If ever she removed the hooded cloak that was hiding her armor, she would naturally look like a female knight from some foreign land.

Continuing on Sandalphon traversed the ice covered pathway as she soon came into view of a female beggar who was somehow sitting on the side of the street as she waited for people to atleast offer her some slight money for her own family. Of course the woman herself was carrying her tightly cloaked baby on her arm to prevent it from freezing to death as she begged the people who passes by for some money.

When Sandalphon saw the woman waiting for people to pass by her, the woman herself naturally noticed Sandalphon gaze as she immediately tried so hard to stand up and walk towards her. Feeling pity, Sandalphon instead walk over towards the woman as she held up her arms.

"Please! Do you have any money to spare? Just a little amount will be fine" begged by the beggar woman

Upon hearing her words, Sandalphon slightly shook her head to tell her that she doesn't have any money which disappointed the woman. But despite not having money herself,  Sandalphon then handed over a piece of accessory (necklace) that she had recently ordered from a weapon Smith for the purpose of assisting her in battle.

Receiving such an accessory which was so well made, the woman was then shocked for a moment as she couldn't believe her eyes at all. Nevertheless Sandalphon explained it to her.

"I don't have much, take this... if you sell this you could get a hefty amount of money"

After hearing that the woman continuously thanked her as she couldn't help but be grateful towards her help.

When she did such a deed a little girl at the age of 5 then silently tugged her cloak causing Sandalphon to quickly notice the girl's presence. Upon realizing that the girl was somehow also begging her for some help upon seeing that she helped a woman in the streets out of her own free will, Sandalphon then softly smiled as she took out the ragged doll that she had recently picked up and gave it to the girl

"Take care of it"

Nodding, the girl then thanked Sandalphon as she hurriedly ran away in her little steps and went inside a certain house.

Seeing the girl away, Sandalphon felt satisfied as she walked away and headed for the town's wall. Upon arriving she noticed that the wall itself had literally few to none guards at all, the manpower of such place was critically scarce. However putting that scarcity aside, she then headed outside the wall as she suddenly witnessed an imaginable scenery of a field of cemetery lying at the front of the town.

"What the hell is this?"
