[Amid Empire, Emperor's Throne]

A whole night had passed ever since the battle against the northern border has commenced, during that time of silence when the forces of the Celeste kingdom and the angels had strategically retreated back to their camps, the soldiers of the empire then finally breath out a sigh of relief as they successfully defended the wall under the guidance of three commanders within their side

As time passes by, the dawn of day finally came unto the land as morning came for the empire resembling another day of the war, with the battle in the border finally concluded, reports naturally came to the Emperor's throne as numerous retinues hailing from all over the empire daring to share their news of success on their own fronts

With their successes in pushing back the of the two Kingdoms respectively the left and the right, Estia and Orboume Kingdom, the whole empire capital itself was celebrating on their success on two battlefronts, all of the retinues hailing from this two sides were naturally joyous on such an occasion, unfortunately the retinues on the south battlefront doesn't share such joyous atmosphere

With the situation on the south battlefront turning into a stalemate once more despite numerous attempt of an attack and defense on two sides, every retinue on the southern battlefront naturally regarded the situation in which the Celeste army and the angels were included as a troublesome situation

Especially regarding the recent issue of the recent battle on the border wall,, such an issue naturally reached the ears of the emperor at the break of dawn, causing him to take the situation on the south a little bit more serious than the two battlefronts, After all except for the army of Celeste kingdom which he deemed as no threat, his biggest rival on this situational war are the angels themselves

In fact the emergence of such creatures really complicated the situation for him, after all he did just recently learn of their existence, thus catching him off guard, but since such a situation rose which totally need his full attention, he would naturally put the matter in thought as he try and take the southern battlefront a little more serious than the others

Adding to the fact that he also had just recently sensed a terrifying amount of mana gathering in the south, he would naturally be even more cautious to any attacks coming from above, after all according to his spies on such a country, the angels themselves have a kingdom of their own above the sea of clouds in the sky, which then turned the situation in the south a little bit tricky than before

"Anyone who wants to celebrate the situation on two battlefronts aside from the southern part should leave immediately, I don't want anyone no matter who they are to soil my seriousness and concentration" said Emperor Amos towards everyone in the throne room, causing the majority of the celebrating retinues to suddenly shut their mouth shut in silence

After having everyone be silenced with just his simple wording, he then urged the retinues on the southern battlefront to state their report regarding the battle that happened recently on the border, due to that one of them then stepped up bravely and stated his business

"According to what we have received regarding the situation last night on the border wall, both the army of Celestia kingdom and the army of angels had actually attacked during the dead of night, thus catching most of our troops in that place to be completely off guard... luckily for us the commanders were experienced enough which soon stabilized the situation" said the retinue

"But with the angels joining into the fray, the border wall had no choice but to use his majesty's prized weapon and open fire to the enemy, despite that they were still able to take out a lot of our soldiers resulting to about 437 casualties on our side in just one night" added by the retinue with a grim expression

Hearing the number of casualty on their side, Emperor Amos then asked in return

"437 casualties in just one night... then how many angels did they manage to take down?"

"A measly number lesser than 40... an estimate number since two of the commanders were occupied in fighting the enemy leader while the other one is busy on protecting the wall"

Hearing the vast difference of 437 casualties to number lesser than 40 on the enemy side, all of the retinues in the throne room naturally sucked in a cold breath as they couldn't believe the huge gap of difference on two sides

But the shocking news didn't end there at all as a certain retinue continued his report

"Aside from that Commander Leon is out of commission after taking on the full brunt attack of the enemy's laser attack, due to him forcing his body to surpass human limits just to defend the wall from the attack from above, he was naturally knock out cold after everything settled down, in fact till now he is still in a state of coma"

With that piece of news reaching his ears, it was then Emperor Amos turn to be shocked, since he regarded commander Leon as his empire's strongest defender in accordance to his defensive structure, and since some laser attack from above was able to force commander Leon into a state of coma, he then concluded that an attack was equivalent into a catastrophic level of an attack, which added to his problem and frustration

Adding such a trick on the enemy's cards, Emperor Amos begun conducting numerous plans on his head as he immediately gave out an order without a second thought of hesitation

"First and foremost relocate commander Leon back to the capital at immediate notice, make sure to call in numerous healers and doctors to aid his recovery, we couldn't afford to lose him at a time like this"

"After that send about more than 5,000 troops towards the border on the southern battlefront, make sure to strengthen the defense in that area despite losing one commander on the battlefield"

"Aside from that add more mana canons on the border wall, about 20 more additional canons, take all of them from my treasury if you want to, we need to make sure to prepare for any other attempt from the enemy overtaking our advantage on the southern border"

"Inform commander Leon's family regarding his circumstances, I will take full responsibility for his situation"

"Lastly cut all any type of such information to the public, we cant let this news reach the publics ears to avoid panic and confusion, if the empire's citizen came to know that such a formidable army exist on the enemy's side, doubt and fear will naturally rise towards the populace, which would cause trouble for us... Do everyone understood?"

Hearing his attention catching call towards everyone inside the throne room, Everyone then naturally responded in certainty as they replied

"Understood your majesty!"

With that reply, Emperor Amos naturally dispersed the whole crowd as they let them do their job in preparation for an even greater threat

While such a grand event was happening in the empire, another grand meeting was being held elsewhere as Asagi was currently in a screen meeting with Gabriel, Michael, Queen Celestia, Pope Michael which is in different places like a zoom meeting back on earth

Thanks to the system functions, such a meeting similar to a hi-tech zoom, Asagi was then able to conveniently talk and meet up with her own allies

Meanwhile Ariel, Anna, and Lloyd themselves were currently beside Asagi, making them a part of the meeting themselves, after all since their job was to attend to Asagi's every need, they would naturally be near her at all times during their duty

With Asagi's taking the lead in the meeting, the meeting between the small cirlce group of allies then finally started

"Well our attempt to overtake the whole border wall in just one night is totally a failure for itself, never had I expected that such a formidable commander that has the capability to withstand my kingdom's canon could exist on the enemy's side, due to that we had no choice but to strategically retreat and think up of a new plan or new approach"

Hearing her words Gabriel once more apologized for his failure

"I'm really sorry for failing your expectations your majesty! looks like the surface human proved to be more troublesome than I ever expected them to be"

"Apology accepted but hold up! did you just say you shot a laser towards the border wall?" asks Pope Michael seemingly surprised for this piece of news

"Well... I did say that" answered Asagi while scratching her cheek

"Apparently its true" added Queen Celestia

Hearing two positive response, Pope Michael was naturally shocked once more as he couldn't believe he didn't know of such a major event

"You knew?" asked Pope Michael seemingly directed towards Queen Celestia

"Well I did hear a few words about it from my men in the north, but since Queen Asagi had bluntly exposed it as the truth then it looks like it wasn't a lie at all, in fact I'm also quite surprised that she had such a weapon up her sleeve that we didn't know about" replied Queen Celestia

"Everyone had secrets" commented Asagi

"Indeed! and that too is a fact" replied Queen Celestia

With that Pope Michael then concluded that such a news was entirely true and not false at all, causing him to be stunned silly for a few seconds before diverting his attention back to the meeting

Unlike him both Asagi and Queen Celestia were composed women, so they naturally didn't overreact to such a news and proceeded to the main topic

"Getting back to the main purpose of this meeting, since we have failed to recapture the northern border wall for ourselves, we would naturally change our approach on this matter right? thus beg the question... just what do you have in mind?" Asks Queen Celestia

"Well I was thinking of a solution which literally avoids confronting the army on the northern wall" said Asagi

"Avoiding confrontation? do you mean you meant to sneakily infiltrate the empire? that's literally impossible since the whole wall is completely guarded 24/7" said Queen Celestia

"Yes! they are guarded by all means, but if we enter through the sky by means of space magic, we would naturally be able to avoid the troops stationed on the wall and infiltrate their grounds" replied Asagi

"But that is only possible for your troops since your soldiers are literally angels themselves, which could literally fly since they had wings" said Pope Michael

"Plus let me remind you that such an idea is literally dangerous, considering the fact that our numerous spies on the empire had totally gone offline, we cant even reach to any one of them, thus we concluded that they must have been snuffed out by the empire or its emperor and is killed in action... by doing such a move, you would just endanger your men" said Queen Celestia

"If your doing an infiltration plan and destroying the enemy within tactic, one cannot make any mistakes at all, everything has to perfect or else your just asking to be killed by the empires troops... adding to the fact that their emperor himself is rumored to detect any lies to any people near him, you literally couldn't hide anything from such a person with such a troublesome ability" said by Pope Michael

"Which greatly increases the difficulty on infiltrating the empire without having a person's ulterior motives be seen through by the emperor himself"

Upon hearing their concern on the matter, Asagi simply nodded her head as she then shocked everyone alongside her angels as she gave our her answer regarding the infiltration plan

"If I want the plan to go as smoothly as possible without any flaws, then theres literally no problem at all, after all the person whos going to infiltrate the empire itself is none other than me"
