About 7 days has passed since Asagi had announced her participation or interference with the war that was going on the surface below, about 2 days ago the Amid Empire had deliberately announced their declaration of war against it's surrounding countries, causing chaos on the three kingdom

Compared to the current situation of the three kingdom's, Asagi Azure Kingdom itself was quite spacious for everyone since only the angels were asked to participate in the war itself, unfortunately even thought that was the case given, it still couldn't help the people to get rid of their worry and nervousness during the war

Currently sitting on her white throne, Asagi was continuously receiving report from her angels regarding the surface world as she skimmed through her documents, of course Anna, Lloyd, and Ariel themselves were currently helping her skim through it

"According to the spy sent by Queen Celestia, a huge number of empire's soldier was currently guarding the border gate connecting the Celeste Kingdom and the Amid Empire compared to other border location, it is as if the empire itself is wary of the Kingdom's strength... well that is quite weird! I mean why would they need to put so much attention to our side?" asks Asagi

"Maybe because they're wary of the Kingdom's strength alongside the holy city?" asked Ariel

"There is one possible answer!" said Lloyd causing everyone in the room to turn their gaze towards him

"Well we are the only joker that the kingdom has against the empire, it most likely on some way, the information regarding our existence has been leaked on their side" continued Lloyd

"Well you think the empire knows about us? well there is that one possibility, so I wouldn't just push that aside since the probability of it the case is high... But since that is our conclusion that would only mean that we would need to intervene sooner than later since they are on guard, after all I hate prolonged battle" said Asagi

"Which might have been the goal of our enemy, after all in terms of resources, the empire itself is on a whole another level compared to the kingdom" said Ariel

"Well that's a cruel tactic... anyway we will try to direct the flow of the war starting from hereon, true to that I'll be trying to summon more angels under my command to join the war itself, while Ariel! you need to inform Michael to be prepared and standby while Gabriel would receive an order to retrieve the borders of the kingdom, thus assisting on the battle" ordered Asagi

"You want to intervene this early on the war?" Asked Ariel

"Well we can assume that the enemy knows about us, thus there is no point on hiding at all" said Asagi

Hearing that Ariel then immediately understood as she bowed and went to do her orders

When Ariel left, Asagi was then left behind with the twins causing her to sigh in relief and relaxation, after all she had been quite stiff for this past few days, but right after she said that, she then went back to work together with the twins as they read other reports

Meanwhile the situation in the Amid Empire's capital isn't that lax at all compared to the other three kingdom's, since they were the one to ignite the flames of war, they would naturally have to follow up their action to keep their current heightened momentum, or else they would then be easily subdued by their enemy is opportunity arises

True to that saying, Emperor Amos himself was currently busy on balancing out their economy plan and their war strategy against the empire

"Send my mass produced cannon's to our borders immediately! we have no time to spare"

"Inform our spies that if ever they are caught! instantly commit suicide to avoid information leak! tell them I'll take care of their families finances till their end of time, so they won't worry about their future"

As the orders and command goes on, stress then slowly accumulated towards the emperor as he suddenly seated on his throne with a headache, nevertheless he has no complaint since war is what he wanted

Of course his ministers were worried about his health, but when Emperor Amos seen such concern from his men, he simply replied

"There is no time to rest on the battlefield, the only rest I would receive is when I'm dead, if you want me to be safe and healthy, then you better ensure our empire's victory, or else if I fall, then everything would be over"

Under his intimidating aura, his ministers then spoke no longer as they let him do as he pleases

With that night had then set upon the land as Emperor Amos was left alone on his throne, seemingly taking a break from his stressful role, not even 1 royal guard could be seen in the vicinity except himself

After massaging his temple to relieve himself of stress, he then silently placed both of his arms on his armrest as he lookout towards the whole room that he was currently located

Contrary to his relaxed facial expression Emperor Amos himself was quite observative on his surroundings as he realized that the room was too quite for it's own good, calmly leaning back on his chair, he then called out towards the empty room itself

"Bold of you to try such a sneaky and underhanded tactic, nevertheless taking out the ruler of the opposing party as early as possible is quite well accepted in the arts of war, sadly I'm not such a foolish emperor who has been heralded as someone who rose to power through connections, I achieved my current status through my strength alone, thus you wouldn't find any opportunity to assassinate me"

Seeing that his enemies tend to continue hiding, he then started threatening them at some point

"What?!?! Are the people who tend to assassinate me just a bunch of ghost? Don't underestimate me!!! if I wanted , I could even kill you in the dark right now! you better present yourself to your emperor if you don't want me to silently kill you!"

In that moment one black masked person then came into clearing as he bravely confronted Emperor Amos

"Is that how you see it? Ahahahahahahaha! you fools who underestimated me just because i look tired! you dare challenge an emperor with that kind of mindset? If that is the case then you lot underestimating me would be your downfall!"

Upon hearing that, the black masked person then personally unsheathed his hidden blades as he asked Emperor Amos decision

"Are you sure about that you tyrant? there are numerous of us hiding in the shadows, the way i see it you are totally outnumbered 0-1"

At that Emperor Amos then casted 30 magic circles with a snap of his finger, as he took out one specific one handed greatsword through one of his magic circle, with a overlooking look as if he is absolute, he then replied towards his opponent's question

"I don't care how many of you ants gather together to kill me, after all in the end i would be the only victor!"

"Now lament to your own naivety! Die you fools!!!"

In that moment a battle then erupted in the throne room, alarming numerous soldiers as they witnessed the explosions coming out from the battle

Emperor Amos himself literally didn't held back at all as he continuously barraged the hiding assassins with his magic nonstop, for the moment it almost looks like he had unlimited mana pool, but in actual fact his own mana pool is literally huge for a mid rank combat mage

The assassin's however were shocked to see that their target was hard to kill, but his display of power didn't deter their determination at all, thus they went further in as they wanted to get close to the emperor and execute the assassination, but the more they got near him, more of the assassins started to fall under Emperor's Amos mercy

Closing in to accomplish his own mission of assassination, the black masked person then slowly but surely comes into the range of Emperor Amos, with his swift decision making and agility, he was then able to dodge the majority of the latter's magic, in that moment he even felt that he might succeed in the assassination

but before he could drown on his excitement of succeeding, Emperor Amos deliberately muttered under his breath, but such mutter itself was loud enough for him to hear

"What a disappointment!"

in that instant the assassin was then blown away by Emperor Amos magic as he died while saying his last words

"The Orboume Kingdom stood no chance at all"

but due to the assassin's last words, Emperor Amos then came to know the identity of the Kingdom that had attacked him sneakily

In actual fact the shockwaves from the fight were totally out of ordinary norm, causing the soldiers to fail to reach their emperor's location, but aside from the group of soldiers running towards the throne room to protect the emperor, one particular another set of assassination squad were hurrying over to the throne room as well, seemingly the same idea was ordered to them

But the moment the said another set of Assassin's group arrived at the throne room, the battle was then officially ended with the result of 10 assassin skewered in spikes all over the room

When they entered the said throne room, they then saw the Emperor himself totally unscathed by the pervious battle that had taken place, of course Emperor Amos took notice of this new arrival as he was surprised himself to see another set of Assassins lining up to death

"You know! I just confirmed that this set of assassin's came from the Orboume Kingdom... Oh how bold of them, anyway from which branch did you fools fall from? Estia? Celeste? or hired by those angels?"
