Rejecting the Crown prince proposal naturally took a turn for the worse on the people who were expectant of a positive reply, after all throughout the history of their Kingdom, there wasn't a situation in wherein a crown prince's proposal of marriage was rejected by a girl in any kind of occasion or situation

Due to Asagi's own doing of rejecting him, not only did the nobles were utterly shocked by such a reply, they were also all flabbergasted and put to silenced by such an answer, no matter what they say, Asagi's answer was totally unexpected

While the crown prince himself was shocked to the highest degree wherein he doesn't know what to say or feel anymore, Princess Hayne on the other hand couldn't stop her stifle laughter as she giggled at the side from this type of comedy scene

Meanwhile both Queen Celestia and Pope Michael had their own opinion of such matter, even thought they feel bad for the Crown Prince himself especially Queen Celestia since that was her son that got rejected, they still showed a relief expression when Asagi had rejected such proposal, after all things would get complicated if she ever accepted the Crown Prince terms

After rejecting the prince infront of the whole crowd, Asagi then clapped her hands together as she turned towards the crowd and said

"Well there's nothing much to see here, so let's resume the party!"

When she stated that, everyone then gave of a stiff laughter before paying a consoling respect for their crown prince, afterwards they then continued the party till the dead of night

When the time reached 12 in the midnight, the whole venue for the party then went silent as the crowd that once filled the party, slowly left as they bid their respect towards Asagi, Queen Celestia, and Pope Michael

As for the host of the party and the celebrant himself, he slowly left early from the party due to fatigue and embarrassment he had suffered during the occasion, meanwhile as for the princess herself, she then returned to her room to sleep the moment the party ended

While the maids and butler's of the castle tend to the party and slowly clean everything up, Pope Michael, Queen Celestia, and Asagi themselves then moved towards another room as they plan to discuss about the issue regarding the empire on the north

When they arrived in the room, a square table was then laid out at the middle of it, as each of them took their own sides of the table

After settling down on their own sit, they then begun talking about the issue regarding the empire and the unexpected movement of their own military

"Now as you guys were talking about something earlier in the party, what is this empire? What is it's name? Why are they moving their military?" Asked Asagi as she started the whole conversation

Hearing her question Queen Celestia and the Pope then answered her equally

"Well as you may know this whole continent that we are residing in, is split into four sections or better yet four rulers... taking Queen Celestia and her Celeste Kingdom aside which is located on the south of the continent, two royal family lay on both the east and west of the kingdom respectively the Orboume Kingdom and Estia Kingdom... while the northern part of the continent lays the Amid Empire, of course since they are called the empire, they naturally has the biggest territory among the four nations in the continent" said Pope Michael

"Putting aside ethe two kingdom who stayed as a peaceful country for about 3 decades, the Amid empire on the other hand started showing signs of military movement in their nation about 6 months ago, thus putting all three peaceful nation into distress, after all if worse comes to it, the empire's blades may be directed to either the three of us" said Queen Celestia

Hearing the part about the time that the empire in the north started their military movement, Asagi then realized that their action was enacted way before she even arrived in this world

Upon realizing that she then asked

"So your conclusion?"

"In actuality our conclusion isn't very clear at the moment, since after all we can't just jump into conclusion and say out to the world that they are preparing a military movement to expand their territory right? If we ever do such a thing, not only would we disrupt the peace that had lasted for atleast 3 decades, we would even be branded as the evil nation who spread such false rumors in the eyes of the empire's people!" Said Pope Michael

"Due to that we then came into standstill between the 4 nations, as each three kingdom's event in spies inside the empire to fetch some insider information" said Queen Celestia

"So far all we know for the past 6 months is that the empire's military strength is growing exponentially big and fast that it scares us" said by the Pope

At that Asagi then stated

"Surely you guys must have done something to reassure your safety right? Like making a temporary alliance with the other two kingdom's just in case the empire turned hostile? Or strengthening your military force?"

With such question Queen Celestia the answered

"We already accomplished such feat even before you arrived, but for some reason even thought the empire hasn't done anything that could spark war, we are still quite worried about the fact that their military is growing"

"According towards the statistical report sent to us about 2 months ago from our allied nation in the East the Orboume Kingdom, their simple and regular foot soldier is equivalent in strength and speed to about 5 ordinary soldiers of our kingdom... even though the gap between their stats isn't that big, it is still quite threatening if you imagine a whole army of that simple and regular soldier would do in a upfront confrontation... it doesn't need to say that our soldiers is totally outmatched" followed up by Pope Michael

"Its like their whole regular army is made up of an entire elite forces numbering about a hundred thousands, which is quite alarming" added Queen Celestia

After stating that kind of conclusion and information, Asagi was then silent so a few moments before she pointed something out

"If their movements is that much obvious, then isn't it natural that you guys would pose a question on the current ruler of the empire? I would just even wonder what their reply is"

"After coming up with such a terrifying conclusion, we did question them on the hearing of the four nations..." said Pope Michael

"... unfortunately the only thing that they have told us about it was they "wanted to secure their own people, by increasing their military strength, they would also secure the security of the empire, after all they don't know when we will turn our blades on them"... thats what they said" said Queen Celestia as she tried to imutate the voice of the representative that had answered them

"With that fact we can't even move recklessly, since the first one who moves would be the bad guy in the eyes of the public" added Pope Michael

With that stand Asagi then said

"If the situation came into standstill between the four nations, then the only thing that could break such current tempo would be someone that would make the first move and disrupt the current the status quo between the four nations... but since each and every nation leaders are looking out for each other to prevent the it's leaders from making unnecessary movement that would disrupt the peace, then you guys would naturally be restrained... the only solution for such a matter is if someone or something, like a third party to involve itself in the problem of the four nations and find proof whether the empire is preparing for war"

"Your absolutely right! But are you suggesting that you guys would like to become that third party?" Asks Pope Michael

"Well we got the means and equipment to do so, plus whether we like it or not, we are still going to head north" answered Asagi

"Heading north... I see... your planning on going to the empire after passing by our kingdom" mumbled Pope Michael sadly upon thinking that thought

Hearing his concern, Asagi then immediately interjected his assumption

"You must be misunderstanding something, we are not heading north towards the empire, we are heading far north of the world since our target location is the City of Arcana"

Hearing that part, especially the name of the well known place in the far icy northern continent that is always covered in snow, Queen Celestia then said

"The city of Arcana... indeed! You did say such a place during the party, we must have forgotten about that fact due to stress... but going to the place governed by sorcerer's, are you planning on asking their guidance perhaps? After all it is rumored that such place is also inhabited by sages known to the world... it's literally a paradise for anyone who can use magic"

"Well I do need guidance for something that's been bothering me" confirmed Asagi

"Is that so? My apologies! How could i have forgotten!" Apologized Pope Michael as he finally remembered Asagi's words during the party

Afterwards Queen Celestia then said

"If that is the case, my kingdom would then provide any necessary information and help we can give to you, after all you are planning on entering their territory by stealth right? If such a claim is true, then you are a perfect person to investigate inner workings of the empire"

"Im really thankful for your assurance, but your help is unneeded, do not underestimate us and align our race the same as the humans in the surface, all you have to do is protect your northern walls, while we do the investigation... and if by chance you needed help is suppressing their forces, you can place your trust on us"

Hearing that Queen Celestia then silently nodded in agreement, while Pope Michael then slump back on his seat and begun pondering on such issue, after all if the angels begun to interfere in accordance towards their pack and oath with Celeste Kingdom, then war between the kingdom's is inevitable

"I see... so war is inevitable, I just hope that the casualties for this war isn't humongous and crazy unlike the war 3 decades ago... the past war really drove the 4 remaining kingdom to the brink of extinction... such a scary times"

Upon hearing the Pope's words, Queen Celestia then once again nodded silently as she suddenly thought up one particular issue in which Asagi had requested her to do in the past week

After remembering that obligation given to her, Queen Celestia then called up Asagi to get her attention as she said

"Asagi!"

"Hmm?!?!"

"About the request you have mentioned about a few days ago"

"Oh! Is it the thing regarding the search for the other refugees of the port city on the south?"

"Yes! During our search, we did indeed manage to find numerous people who immigrated to other towns and villages causing a huge influx of people to come in, due to that internal problems such as food and supply became common thing in such area"

"Of course as recompense we did suggested for them to transfer towards your territory to lessen our burden on our economics, after all we are not a wealthy nation in terms of economy and only rely on the sources of other nations to stabilize our kingdom through trading... due to that we then manage to find people who are willing to immigrate towards your kingdom, alongside it the two people whom you asked us to find"

"Is it the twins parents?"

"Indeed! The parents of the twins who got separated from their children was found on a town quite far from the southern port city, we actually found them by luck when they tried to request a search party at the adventurers guild to find their children at the port city"
