[Tekoa Town]

In that very moment, a loud explosion rung out as if a glass had broke, as the shockwave from the explosion pushed everyone back by a few steps, while the monsters seemed stunned in their own position.

Not long after the monsters howled into the air, before they all begun to rush towards the center of the town itself , as if something had called upon them. Naturally this phenomenon stunned everyone who were pre-occupied in fighting the monster and having a hard time pushing them back. But among them some realized the graveness of the situation and immediately rushed towards the center of the town.

Among the people who sensed the danger in this situation are Azrael, Zaheer, and Jabarin. But among the three, something or someone had purposely blocked Azrael's path.

"Lucifer.... you... get out of my way now"

Lucifer, the fallen angel and now the incarnation of pride, the very person whom Azrael is wary off and concluded to be the person behind this in incident, such a person was now blocking his way and preventing him from going to the center.

"I can't have you interfere on this Azrael... unlike the mortals, for us archangels, dealing with such danger is nothing but child's play... you'll ruin the fun out of it, so I can't have you get involved in this any longer"

"Cut your crap Lucifer, this is not a game"

"I'm afraid I can't do that"

"So be it!"

Tired of trying to move Lucifer away, Azrael then attacked Lucifer with his sycthe, only for the latter to quickly morphed away to dodge his swing and turn into a huge snake that smacked Azrael away.

Recovering from that attack, Azrael then quickly landed on the ground by controlling the center balance of his body, before he launched forward and attacked Lucifer with quick swing attacks. Unfortunately this time Lucifer morphed down into a fly to make it hard for Azrael to aim for his body, before he quickly morphed back into his original form when he got above him and swing down a sword that seemingly had materialized out of nowhere on his hand.

Blocking that attack with his sycthe, Azrael then quickly pushed Lucifer away, as he chased after him in a blink of an eye, before imbuing his sycthe with his own mana and slashed horizontally towards Lucifer. From that swing a huge shockwave reverberated throughout the area, as the ground and houses were overturned and destroyed by his attack.

Unfortunately despite its destructiveness, Lucifer easily dodge the attack with a laugh, before he attacked once more in between Azrael's gaps with a knife that came out of nowhere.

From there, A,real quickly pulled his head to the side in order to dodge the knife throw, before Lucifer suddenly grabbed his cloaked and threw him over his shoulders and unto the house infront of them.

"Surely this isn't all you got right?" Mocked by Lucifer

"Shut it! I'm just getting started" retorted by Azrael

"So am i"

With that Lucifer charged at Azrael as they fought tirelessly which caused destruction to their surroundings as they fought.

On the center of the town, Asagi was witnessing something inhuman being born as the fleshlike ball cracked open its shell and revealed a typed of horned demon from its inside that exudes aura that surpasses any demon she had encountered. To be exact the demon infront of her is far stronger than the demonic beast, red demon, and albino demon that she met in the northern continent. This was on a whole new level.

However something was amiss, for some reason this specific newly born demon looks like someone that she had known. Upon closer look, Asagi's eyes couldn't help but contract, as she was shock to realize that the demon infront of her looks a lot like Ester who she got acquainted with.

In fact this doesn't make sense, why would the demon look like Ester? Why does he exude demonic aura that was not there before? What happened to him? But more importantly who is capable enough to turn him into this.

This was not Ester's usual ability to morphed into creatures he had encountered before, this was a complete transformation from one race to another. Based upon her memories, there are no demon that have the capability to do such a thing. Unless the demon itself is a higher rank. Which also probed the question, how wasn't she able to notice its presence?.

Asagi's senses are heightened to an unimaginable degree, her stats on it is actually on its 99%. She is one of the people on this world and on her previous life's game that is sensitive enough to recognize demonic energy. So how the heck did it bypass its senses.

But as she was questioning herself, the demon that looks like Ester begun to open its mouth into the air and absorb all the lost souls in the area. The souls of the people who are dead and the life force Of the people who are still alive. As he continues to absorb such things, the demons power grew strongerand goes beyond ordinary humans strength.

Realizing this fact, Asagi quickly snapped out of it, as she quickly casted her chains and launched it towards the demon.

"Heavens Chains!!!"

This time the demon noticed Asagi's attack, as it quickly moved to dodge her strike, before charging towards her in order to exact a counter attack.

From there, Asagi materialized a mana sword from her left hand, as she parried the demons attack with her swing, before casting another spell on her right and launching it at point blank range.

"Luminous Orb!!!"

Unfortunately the demon was nimble enough to dodge the attack using its quick senses, before it suddenly blinked behind Asagi and punched her towards her side.

Luckily Asagi was able to set up a barrier on her side just in time to block the attack, before she gathered mana once more on her hand and launched her ranged spell towards the demon like a machine gun.

"Light Bullet (15x)!!!"

Sadly all of the attacks missed its target, as the demon bent down to avoid her rattling attack, and quickly grabbed her head, before throwing her towards the second floor of a certain building near them.

After that the demon quickly jumped towards Asagi like a torpedo, forcing the latter to quickly puts up its shield once more to defend from the demons punch, before she quickly casted a summoning spell to counter back at it.

"Summoning Guardina Golem!!!"

Under Asagi's command, a huge golem wearing a divine armor came out from the portal behind her, as it swung down its spear, which blasted the demon back to the ground. However despite that succesful counter, the demon itself manage to block the golem's attack leaving him unscathed from the attack imbued with divine energy.

As that happened, multiple of monsters that came from the liquefied flesh of the huge monster before then gathered towards the center, as they all jumped towards the demon that Asagi was fighting with.

Not long after the monsters and the demon merged together into one being like a symbiote fusion, until all 20 demons were fully absorb into the demons body. Not long after the demons energy grew thicker snd stronger as if it received a massive boost in power which gravely endanger her situation.

The moment Asagi realized this, she then quickly commanded the golem to attack the demon in fear that it may grow stronger as time goes on.

Few minutes later when everyone noticed that the monsters were fleeing towards the center, Jabarin together with Rueben and some members of the town's brigade alongside some citizens who voluntarily followed them, then rushed towards the center of the town itself only to notice that another person was also heading towards the center just like them. That person himself is none other than Zaheer who also noticed the weird movements of the monsters.

"You perpetrators... what are you up to this time?" Growled by Jabarin

"Perpetrators? I'm kinda hurt, aren't you guys the reason why this chaos happened in the first place? Don't blame our side for your own foolishness" retorted by Zaheer.

Hearing his words Jabarin couldn't think of any retort at all since all of this did indeed happen due to the greed of the person who was previously their superior. So at a senses since they followed through its greed, they were also somewhat at fault.

Alongside him Rueben was also quite ashamed as he has no right of say on this matter, after all he was also one of the reason why Ester ended up the way he is now. This is simply the result of his own choices.

Seeing that both Jabarin and Rueben has no way of countering his argument, Zaheer simply stayed quiet as he heads towards the center of the town, where for quite some time multiple explosions had erupted and quakes occur. Such things can only happen when someone is fighting something at the center of the town and based on how violent the quakes and explosions are, it seemed like someone was fighting agaisnt a strong opponent at the center of the town.

Not long after the two group arrived at the center of the town only to witness the destruction that was caused by an intense battle. The area itself was like a battlefield, such scenery was comparable to the scenery they had seen near the capital were the war agaisnt the enemy forces.

"What the hell happened here?"

Not long after they saw a huge broken golem lying on the building nearby and a demon that is currently choking the life out of Asagi with its own hand.

Upon seeing the broken golem nearby and Asagi's seemingly broken hands as if the demon crushed her arms to prevent her from casting any spells, everyone then realized that the demon was the enemy itself despite bearing the appearance of Ester.

As for Zaheer he was quite in shock upon seeing Ester had turned into a demon, as this situation was like seeing an acquaintance attacking your allies. It was quite hard to accept situation and even shocking to such a degree. However the more pressing matter here was Asagi.

Due to her crushed arms, and the demon slowly crushing her throat, she couldn't even cast any spells to defend herself from the demon. What's more the pain that she is currently feeling was too much to bare for any person as tears trickled down her face as everytime she tried to move, pain would always pricked her nervous system causing immense internal pain.

Upon seeing that, Zaheer quickly drew his two swords from their sheath, as he charged towards the demon that looks like Ester and try his best to save Asagi. Due to this the demon quickly released Asagi by throwing her to the side, before parrying Zaheer's attack.

Because the demon released Asagi, the person herself was finally able to speak, as she quickly casted a spell to heal her wounds and repair any broken bones she had received.

"God's embrace"

Casting this spell with her bloody hoarse voice, she soon felt a soothing sensation, as her wound was slowly repairing itself and her bones being mended together. However despite this miraculous spell, completely healing her would still take time. With that she hopes that Zaheer and the rest could hold on until she fully recovers before she could heal everyone back to their perfect state and assist on the fight.

While Asagi was busy on healing herself up, Zaheer on the otherhand is slowly being pushed back by the attacks  of the demon, before he suddenly took a misstep which resulted to him being blown back by the demons attack.

Luckily for him before the demon could quickly follow up its attack, Jabarin and his group quickly rushed forward in order to subjugate the demon.

"Ester!!! So you've fully turned into a demon? So be it! Then die!!!"

Even though Jabarin said those words, the demons eye wasn't focused on him but rather the few citizens that were following them from behind.

Like a predator, it naturally targeted the weak first as the demon easily bypassed Jabarin and the rest and arrive before the surviving citizens of the town.

"No!!! Noooooo!!!!"

As Jabarin screamed out these words, the demon itself completely ignored his please and easily massacred the townspeople in the swing of its claws and teeth.

Under few seconds, all the surviving townspeople that they are currently protecting were killed as the demon doesn't discriminate in its slaughter.

Old, young, adult, and infant, none was spared and everyone was killed. And as if that wasn't enough, the demon soon absorbs the souls of the people it killed and merged some of the monsters that were near his location. From there the demon grew stronger than ever before.
