[Tekoa Town]

<East Area>

Looking down at the city from the sky above, Azrael then immediately swooped down towards the town streets as he sliced off the monsters scaling on the walls of the building with quick successive attacks, before sliding across the ground as he lands, and efficiently killed off the monsters loitering the area near him.

After that he then quickly dashed towards another monsters as he smashed its head unto the door column, before he grabbed its collar bone and threw it at the monster rushing towards him behind his back.

Afterwards he then looked at the mess that the monster had made as bodies of humans were littered on the ground, as the monster indiscriminately killed the townspeople. Even though he doesn't understand why the monsters would do such a thing, he was quite sure of one thing. The monsters were aiming for something, the main reason why they attack the townspeople aside from instincts. No matter whet he needed to find out while trying his best to kill them as fast as possible.

The faster he kills the monsters, the more people he could save.

With that he then quickly jumped on top of a building roof and immediately killed two more monsters, before he quickly gets towards another roof and repeat what he did. Due to his strength and how fast he could kill the monsters, none of the monsters in the vicinity could actually pose a threat, as they were all under his own mercy.

Looking at it right now, Azrael could sometimes glimpse at some area of the town where the people themselves are actually trying to fight back the monsters in order to survive. Despite the difference in strength, the men and soldiers of the town never backed down as they fight off the monsters.

Upon seeing this, Azrael couldn't help but look at them in a slight favorable light as this essence of a human is something he is very quite familiar with. The will to survive and live on, without this will humanity would not have survive till the modern era. Without the will, humanity would not have progressed. Without the will, the very first humans would have died upon its banishment. The humans will is something them as an archangel admire from the humans themselves.

With that Azrael then quickly heads towards their direction and easily decimated the monsters attacking the surviving humans.

With his sycthe of death, wings that are sharp as blades, hands that could kill the life out of any being, Azrael easily decimated the monsters as they never stood a chance agaisnt him.

Upon seeing Azrael's sudden appearance, the surviving townspeople quickly puts up their guard as they were wary of the person who is fully cloaked in black, and with black wings protruding out its back. Seeing the wings on its back and its skinny like figure, the townspeople immediately knew that Azrael wasn't human at all. Heck they even suspect him as one of the monsters getting rid of its kind to avoid competition.

"Who... who are you? Don't you dare get closer" Asked by one of the town's guards in his scared voice.

Upon seeing the human's state, Azrael simply ignored its tone of voice and replied.

"Go to the northern area of this town, the humans are being heavily protected there"

"... What? What are you saying... no! how can we trust you?"

"You dont"

Without clarifying any further, Azrael then quickly flew off as he let's the humans decide whether to follow his words or not, but in order to survive, the humans would have no choice but to believe in his words.

<North East Area>

In this area Zaheer was currently busy protecting a huge family consisting of ten members. The father, mother, it's daughter, three sons, two aunts, and two elderly couple.

He had found such family while he was going through door to door in order to flush out the monsters in the area, who knew that during his search for monsters, he had stumbled upon survivors that are desperately trying to survive the monster attacks. With that he then helped the family which now leads to this current situation.

With him at the front, he then quickly kills off the monster coming his way, while keeping a sharp eye on the enemies from the rear. Due to his greatsword being a nuisance in this battle where speed is everything, he then has no choice but to throw his spear towards a huge monster entering a corner, before he resorts to dual sword wielding which greatly lighten his weight and increases his speed when necessary.

With that he then goes back and forth from the front and behind, as he makes sure that the family is safe while being led towards the north area where Ban is currently protecting a huge amount of people inside her barrier.

However despite saying that, such a feat was not an easy thing, after all this takes a huge to of Zaheer's stamina. Since he had already exhausted himself when fighting Adri, he is now currently pushing himself to the limits in order to protect the family in all direction.

Because of that whenever Zaheer moves from one place after another, he seemed like he was teleporting, due to how fast he could go while switching locations.

Luckily for him after a few seconds of struggle, the whole street was now clean off monsters, as Zaheer provided a path for the family to head over towards the northern area.

Upon seeing Zaheer's state, the head of the family then worriedly looked at him while saying.

"Are you okay? You don't look good"

"This? I'm fine! I'm just a little tired"

"Tired? That's not good, based on how you look, your already at the age where I can regard you as a senior"

"Look despite my age, I'm quite fit... in fact even if I reach 80, I would still kick some ass"

"Thats... that's great to hear but not very assuring, please come with us"

"No from here on out, you need to get there by yourself, I still have to get rid of the monsters here"

"But you would die at this rate"

"If I die in battle, then that would be an honor"

Upon seeing that Zaheer can't be persuaded to go with them, the father of the household then grit his teeth as he accepted Zaheer's words and led his whole family towards the safe area. Nevertheless he was quite thankful for Zaheer as he held out his hand and shook his hand"

"Thank you... thank you for saving me and my family, I will never forget this gratitude"

With that the family of ten then quickly went through the cleared alleyway, as they one by one pass by Zaheer.

Seeing the family's leaving figure, Zaheer then quickly leaned on the wall, as he was greatly fatigued while looking at his shaking hand, from this he couldn't help but realize that age was slowly catching up to him. He was really getting old for this kind of thing.

<West Area>

In this location Rueben together with the town's brigade and Jabarin is currently fighting off the monsters while also trying to protect the town's people.

While leading the troops of soldiers which seemed like an amateur unit, Jabarin and Rueben soon heard a very bad news, as they learned that no humans survived the monster onslaught on the south. From that they then gave up the idea of saving anyone in the south and focused on the west area while killing off the monsters.

To be exact Jabarin knew that the huge ball like object at the center of the town is the one responsible for this monster wave, but due to this monster flocking the west area, he then couldn't even break through the monster's formation much less reach the center of the monsters wave.

"Move your asses! Kill all these monster!!!"

After saying that command, he then saw one soldier falling on its but after getting pushed by the monster, as Jabarin quickly ran towards that area and quickly killed off the monsters who broke their formation.

After that he then grabbed the soldier on the ground as he reprimanded the soldier.

"What did I say? Get up! Don't break formation! If I see anyone of you slack off, I'll make sure that I'll kill all of you after this is all over"

As Jabarin was giving out this command, Rueben on the other hand silently watched the situation while shooting arrows towards the monsters climbing up his position.

Looking at this situation, and learning the fact that the monster was Ester himself, he couldn't help but think whether all of this was his fault to begin with. If he didn't become stubborn and greedy for status, this wouldn't have happened at all.

On the other hand he was not the sole person who pushed Ester beyond this point. The person who was the cause of this chaos is none other than the mayor himself. However it's no use on blaming a dead person now.

With that he couldn't help but get conflicted while feeling like he had become someone insignificant.

He wonders, if he were given a chance to start over, he will not make the same choices and incur the same mistake. However such a possibility is close to non-existent.

<Center Area>

Located at the place where the surge of monsters are the most heavy Asagi is currently holding the enemy back a on her own, as she uses spell after spells to decimate the area.

"Heavens Chains!!!"

Casting such spells, Asagi then summoned about 30 chains out from the magic circles she had casted, as the chains attacked the monsters and squarely killing them in one attack.

After that she then stretched out her hand to her right, as she realized the monsters are using the buildings to jump close towards her in order to ground her down to the ground.

"Orb of light!!!"

After shooting down the monster that jumped towards her, she then spun Gungnir around her hand, as she threw it towards the mass of ball made out of flesh on the center of the monster in hopes to stop the monster wave. However for some unknown reason, a dark and murky energy suddenly protected the ball of flesh as it fended off Gungnir and even forced its de-materialization.

Upon seeing this Asagi was quite surprised by this situation as she was confused on what was the thing that protected the balk of flesh from an attack that is equivalent to divine punishment.

However she has no time to worry about such things as the monster begun attacking her loke crazy, forcing he to quickly fly higher and casting another huge spell which could potentially wipe out the whole town if not controlled.

“O Radiant Light, Heed My Call,
Channel the Wrath of Heaven’s Might.
Pierce Through the Veil of Darkness,
Let the Spear of the Divine Ignite!
By the Authority of the Sacred Flame,
Judgment Be Rendered in Thy Name.
Descend, O Holy Spear of Light,
Strike Down All Evil in Your Sight!... Spear of God!!!”

After Asagi casted such spell, dozen Spears suddenly materailized and pierced the heavens above, as they are all aimed at the wave of monsters on the ground, upon seeing this spell, all eyes were then glued towards her as the bright light of the heavens were directed towards the monsters as the once night sky was suddenly illuminated by its brightness.

It was like both night and day has exited in such place at the same time.

Without further words, Asagi launched the spell towards the wave of monster causing a huge explosion to erupt followed by a powerful sho knave which turned the earth upside down, and a quake which shook and crack the land.

Unknown to anyone this specific spell is greatly suppressed as Asagi limited its destructiveness only at the area where the monster is gathered. If she had let loos of such spell in its maximum output, she would have the capability to even destroy a country by such an attack alone.

With that the center area was cleared of monster, while only leaving the ball of flesh which seemed to be protected by am unknown energy.

Not long after the ball of flesh begun to pulse as small cracks formed on its surface.
