[Tekoa Town]

After dealing with their own matter at hand, Asagi then urged the others to go to where Sato and the others are, since Ester's house has been compromised by the enemy forces and she doesn't know when will the enemy force support will come.

The choices is either stay in one place with no guarantee when the enemy will attack again or gather with the others to increase the probability of survival. Given two choices, it was only natural that she would choose the latter.

With that Asagi folded back her wings as she ran towards the Mayor's mansion which carrying Talia  together with Ban and Asmaveth from behind. Unexpectedly when they were about to get close towards the Mayor's estate, Azrael suddenly popped out from beside giving Asagi a slight scare as she somehow inadvertently pointed gungnir towards Azrael.

"You really need to stop sneaking like that, I almost mistaken you for an enemy"

"My apologies my queen, but I need to inquire on what your doing here? Didn't you suggest that you stay behind to protect the child?"

"The situation has changed, Ester's House has been compromised"

"Compromised? I see, no wonder I sensed your divinity even from afar"

"Where not that far, plus I tried to suppress my divinity as much as I could in that battle"

"I understand"

"Anyway, we need to regroup with the others, the only way for us to increase our chances of survival is too regroup with Sato"

As Asagi was saying that while running towards the Mayor's estate, she then remembered the previous sensation she felt as she can't seem to sense Jophiel anywhere.

"By the way, what happened to Jophiel?"

Hearing that question, Azrael simply kept silent as he tries to think of a way to bring it up without making Asagi worry. However Asagi saw through that as she suddenly pushed the topic aside and focus at the task at hand.

"You know what? Scratch that, I'll eventually find out later, what we need now is to regroup with the others"

Not long after she said those words  they were soon met with the crowd who seemed to be trying to get a glimpse of what is happening inside the Mayor's estate. Even though the gate was wide open, none of them dare to enter as this will be a direct provocation to the rules that was set in place in regards to private property of people in power. Unfortunately this rule doesn't apply to Asagi and her group as they don't belong in this town.

So without anyone to stop them, they then rushed through the crowd as they entered the gate and begun to find the nearest person they could find.

"Ban! Do you sense anyone close by?"

".... I sense two life force at the backyard of the mansion, even though it is weak, the people on it are still alive"

The moment Asagi heard than, she then glanced at Azrael with a knowing look, making Azrael catch that particular signal and rushed forward to punch a hole through the walls.

In one attack, Azrael had gotten rid of the obstacles blocking their way as they soon arrived at the backyard of the mansion. But the moment they got there, what greeted them was a wholly destroyed area, as it a huge battlefield had just taken in such place.

Among this pieces of rubble three bodies were found, as one of them were dead and both Sato and Takahashi lay down on the ground unconscious.

"Ban! Heal them!"

Seeing the severity of the situation, Ban quickly casted her healing spell, while Asmaveth back away a couple of steps behind in order to not cancel out Ban's magic.

"Holy Mother's Embrace!!!"

Using a high tier spell, the wounds on Sato and Takahashi's body slowly closed as the speed it were going was so fast to the point they almost seem fine. However this kind of fast healing spell also has its own drawbacks, due to it being a high tier spell, it's mana consumption is naturally high which will most likely drain Ban's mana and stamina.

While this was underway, Asagu then glanced back at Azrael as she commanded him with a serious tone.

"Check the area, we may find the others passed out pike this"

When Azrael heard that, he then bowed in obedience and begun searching the whole area for survivors. After Azrael was gone, Asagi then looked back at both Sato and Takahashi as she can't believe that a person with the hero status was greatly taken down by a no name person.

It was either they were taken down due to inexperience or they were taken down due to being suppressed by the enemy. Either way this shows that Sato was not yet fully grown as a hero and still has room for further improvements.

Not long after, Azrael then went back inside the mansion until he reached one particular room where Zaheer was breathing heavily while lying down on the wall infront of a corpse.

"Your here? I though you were asked to be on stand by?"

"I was also ordered to search for survivors"

"Survivors? Yeah I did survive, I didn't expect this brat to actually had in him to stand his ground agaisnt me, if I were in my prime this brat wouldn't even dare to look in my eyes"

"A tall tale of an old man"

"It is true though I'm quite a strong person back then, if only you've seen my prime state, in fact I could even take down a dragon easily back then.... unfortunately my prime has passed  time doesn't wait for no one"

"Right, since you still have the energy to hold a conversation and smoke some cigarette, I presume that you can walk on your own?"

"Damn right I can, I'm not that old where young people like you would need to assist me in walking"

"Young? I never heard someone tell me I'm young before"

"Why? Am I not right?"

"You have no idea just how old I am"

[Basement Floor]

While Asagu and her group were assisting the one who had fought in the mansion, the battle in the basement hallway came to an end with a crushing defeat from Ester's side. To be exact Vaknin had taken them all down all by himself.

Both Hina and Fujino were down too. Fujino the bard got stabbed on her stomach while Hina was slashed across her front while having her head smashed down to the floor. Even though they were not dead yet, their qoindis so severe that if they don't get immediate treatment, both of them will die due to bloodloss.

As for Ester he got both his arms cut off, as he was lying down on the floor in anguish and desperation in his eyes.

"To be honest with you, I expected nore from you guys, I never even though that you would be so weak... especially you since your the former captain of the town's brigade, oh how the mighty have fallen"

"You... I will kill you, argh!... I will curse you... I will not stop until you return my wife to me"

Hearing that Vaknin then aimed his sword towards Ester's neck like an execution stance as he said.

"Truly pitiful, for your revenge you even pulled along young warriors to their deaths, your the reason why they will die here, their blood blood is in your hands, so think about that in yhe afterlife"

As Vaknin was about to cut off Ester's head and Ester closing his eyes shut as if he is denying his fate, a voice suddenly came from the door he was guarding, as Jabarin's voice echoed through the door and instructed Vaknin on what to do next.

"Stand down Vaknin!"

"Commander!"

"Mayor Zoabi permits Ester to see his wife, bring him here"

"But commander!"

"Don't worry about the consequence, didn't you cut off his arms? He already pose no threats the moment you did that"

"... Understood"

After Vaknin heard those words, he then lifted Ester by the collar, as he dragged his bloody state across the floor and opened up the door where Ester's wife was held.

The moment the door opened, Esters eyes was filled with emotions as he can't beleive that he will see his wife again. However what greeted him from the inside was a sorry state of his wife as the guards in the room had just finished violating her while Mayor Zoabi was watching from the side.

"... ah... ah.... ah..."

In that moment all manner of words was stuck on his throat as Ester was forced to see her wife in that sorry situation. He was angry but also in despair as he can't prevent such tragedy to happen to his wife. He was at a loss for words.

While Ester was in this trance, Mayor Zoabi smiled at him while putting a towel over his private area and said.

"Your wife, she's an amazing woman, how could you keep her away from me for so long? Well atleast this time everyone's happy, not only was I able to enjoy her, the other guards were also able to have fun with her... I truly thank you Ester for showing just how wonderful of a woman you have"

"Ah.... ahhh.... ah.."

"Now I wonder if your wife is this good, wouldn't that mean that your child would also be good considering she is her child? What was her name again? Ah yes! Talia... I can just already imagine what she feels like"

Hearing his family's names being violated inside Mayor's Zoabi's mouth, Ester then looked at him filled with anger and despair as his thoughts were in a jumble after seeing this scene.

"Oh yeah! You said you wanted to get your wife back right? Here..."

The moment Mayor Zoabi said that, he then pulled Ziv's hair upward in order to take a look at Ester's face while Vaknin was in a position to cut off her neck. Before she got beheaded, Ziv was able to say out a single word which literally broke Ester's heart.

"Es... ter..."

After Ziv said those words, Vaknin completely beheaded her, as Mayor Zoabi lifted her head and threw it towards Ester's direction.

Seeing the head rolling towards him, Ester's eyes followed along as he saw the Head lying down infront of him.

"Well I'm already done with her anyway, it's time to move on... so with that happy reunion to the both of you, I guess"

As Mayor Zaobi was laughing at this situation, Ester's thoughts were in a jumble once more as he looked at the head of his wife and suddenly remembered the memories he got with her. All the good memories and the lovely memories of them creating a family out of pure love. She loves him and he love her a pure true love. Now the love of his life was beheaded right in front of her after he finally got reunited with her.

"Ahhhh.... ahhhhh..... AHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Without a moments to lose Ester fell deep into despair as he cried and cried while trying to get Ziv's head closer to his heart as much as he can. His doing this as if he is denying the truth that his wife is dead and he was powerless to stop her from being killed.

Upon seeing this Mayor Zoabi then begun to laugh once more as if he wanted to see Ester in such state and had achieved its purpose.

However unknown to them in the midst of his despair, time suddenly stopped for everyone aside from Ester who continued to cry and drown in despair following it foot steps could be heard along the hallway, as a figure opened the door and walked inside the room.

"Hello there again my friend"

What greeted Ester in his despair was Lucifer himself.

"Please, please save my wife, ill do anything, please bring her back to me"

"I can do that, but it is quite a bit complicated to exe items it without being found out"

"Why I thought you were here to help me"

" I am, but I didn't say that I will not revive your wife, I'm just saying that I can't do it right now... maybe at a later time, we'll since that request is currently invalid, do you have other request you would like to accomplish?"

Hearing his offer, Ester's eyes darted towards Mayor Zoabi with full of anger as he can't let such a man get near her daughter. Even though his senses were warning him the danger being associated with Lucifer, the devils proposal was so alluring that he had no choice but to take it inorderto get his revenge.

"Please help me, give me power to kill him and everyone who is connected to him, help me avenge my wife, HELP ME!!!"

Upon seeing that despair had taken over Ester to the point he can't act rationally Lucifer then smiled as he said.

"Your wish is my command!"
