Seeing that both Ban and Asmaveth were cornered by his maneuvers, Segel breath out a sigh of relief, as he walked towards them while holding out his daggers. In fact he was not in a hurry to kill them at all, after all as long as Asmaveth and Ban are close towards each other, their magic would always cancel each other out due to opposing attribute.

"You guys really held out for so long, I'm quite amazed"

As Segel said this words, Talia tried to help Ban up, while Asmaveth tried to cover for the both of them. When Segel saw this, he then smiled in disbelief as he can't believe that a person associated with death energy would actually try to protect someone that is beloved with divinity.

However he was not stupid at all, he clearly knew that attacking Asmaveth was pointless since he can't die due to being a person associated with death. Thankfully he knew of such information after inquiring information from one of the cult members during his free time. Meaning Ban was literally the weak point between the two of them.

"Try as you might, but nothing will change a thing... the three of you will die here... even though the cloaked guy will be quite a trouble to kill, ill soon find a way after I kill the two behind you"

As Segel was about to get ready to kill the three of them, the whole roof was suddenly blasted away by a powerful blow, as Asagi showed up with her angel form fully exposed and a spear by her hand.

The spear itself came from Asagi's armory spell and is named as Gungnir.

Gungnir is the mythological spear of Odin, the chief god in Norse mythology. Known as a weapon of unparalleled power and precision, Gungnir is said to always hit its target when thrown, never missing its mark. It symbolizes authority, war, and magic. The spear was forged by the dwarven brothers known as the Sons of Ivaldi, renowned for their craftsmanship. According to legend, Gungnir was imbued with runes by Odin himself, enhancing its magical properties.

In mythology, Gungnir also represents Odin's role as a god of war and death, as it was often used as a symbol of declaring battles and sacrifices. In artistic depictions, it is typically shown as a long spear with intricate runes carved along its shaft.

Upon seeing the spear, Segel couldn't help but feel an indescribable pressure coming from it, which even makes him hesitate to attack and choose to flee away. However before he could run away as he please, Asagi was quick to react as she casted an area effect which prevent anyone from entering and exiting the affected area without her acknowledgement.

"Holy Sanctuary!!!"

In that moment trapped within an enclosed area that is as wide as Ester's house, Segel was then prevented from running to far away which then further endangers his life.

"Damn it! JUST WHAT ARE YOU?!?!?!"

As Segel said this while punching unto the wall to try and escape, he then tried to think of multiple ways to escape this place while keeping a clear mind. After all if he panics now, it will be an easy pickings for the enemy to kill him.

There was one plausible way to escape and that is through the ground. However before he could try and dig his way put of the area spell, Asagi then flipped hold on the spear, as she threw it towards Segel, forcing the latter to quickly use his switching ability from the dagger he had used agaisnt both Ban and Asmaveth.

However the moment he did the switch with his previously thrown dagger which is covered with his mana signature, Asagi quickly casted another spell which shoots out chains that are rea hing out to him to restrain his movements.

Upon seeing this, Segel quickly jumped to dodge the chains, as he quickly pulled out all 30 knives from his pocket and threw them towards Asagi.

While the knives were thrown and is currently marked by his mana, he then performed switches as he tries to get closer towards Asagi on quick speed, after all she was currently flying with her wings fully exposed. With that this is the only way for him to reach her without exploiting his openings.

However the moment t he did the first switch, more chains came out from the spatial portal, as they chased after him non-stop. Since this was the case, he has no choice but to continue using his switching ability as he tries to get away from the chains chasing after him. Unfortunately no matter where he go, the chains kept popping out as they tried to go after him.

Not long after as he continous this cycle of maneuver, his eyes opened wide in shock as he realized that so many chains had already popped out of the spatial portal, making it look like he was caught in a web of chains. In this he realized that he has nowhere to go as there were chains everywhere.

As his eyes were going wild in searching for a safe spot, Segel then suddenly saw the blade that just passed by Asagi, as he quickly envoked the marked dagger and immediately made his switch to escape the web like trap formation.

Alongside it not only did he manage to escape the trap orchestrated by Asagi he was also able to teleport at her blindspot, as he pulled out his blade from behind him and slashed down with all his might.

Unfortunately before his blade could hit its target, the chains suddenly erupted all around him as it caught his wrist, legs, arms, body, and neck. In just a blink of an eye, Segel was caught by the chains and was unable to move even further.

"F*ck!!!"

As Segel cursed his rotten luck, the Gungnir that Asagi initially had thrown suddenly stabbed Segel from behind causing his blood to spill on Asagi's clothes, as he bleed profusely while spitting out a mouthful of blood.

As if he was silenced, Segel suddenly lost his voice as his whole body fell into shock as a cold weapon pierced through his body.

Upon seeing his state Asagi then smiled.

"The Gungnir never misses its target"

As she said these words, she then turned towards him as he reached out her hand and placed it unto Segels head.

"Your dying, I recognized that look of a dying person anywhere... however I won't simply let you die without feeling pain from all the people you caused to suffer"

When Asagi said those words, mana then soon gathered on the hand she placed on Segel's head, as she begun to chant a spell which would give Segel and unimaginable pain.

"In the beginning, when all was void,
I call forth the essence from the primordial.
By the will of creation and power untold,
Light, awaken, as once you shone bold.
In this darkness, I command your sight,
Arise and shine-let there be light!"

By evoking the spell inside Segel's body, he then suddenly felt a burning sensation from within him, as light begun to erupt all over his, followed by the whole area erupting in another blinding light. However even though the spell literally swallowed everyone inside the Sanctuary area, the only one affected by the spell is Segel.

Whole the rest felt a soothing feeling which seemingly healed their mental state, Segel on the otherhand felt like he was being burned alive as his screams were drowned out and nothing were left behind.

Just like that as if being burned in flames, Segel was disintegrated into nothingness as the pain of being burned was heavily encrypted unto his mind.

With the enemy dead, Asagi then released all of her spells, as she looked towards Ban and Asmaveth and flew down back to the ground.

Meanwhile as most of fights are coming to conclusion, the battle between Adri and Zaheer are slowly coming to a close, as their battle are in a ongoing fast pace exchange of attacks.

There were no breaks in their momentum, no stops, nor even a second to think as they make their next move. In fact they have been on going inthis pace for a while now. Despite two huge attacks already passed throughout the town, their battle itself was undisturbed.

At that moment they both knew that their battle was coming to a close, whoever among the both of them even lose focus for a second, that will be the person who will end up dead at the next second. Unknown to them they had already exchanged their 78th continous clashes as their battle completely ravaged the whole ground floor.

In this moment both of them had crashed through the walls of the living room and unto the dining area.

As Zaheer was chasing after Adri's shadow, the latter then quickly crouched on the ground with both swords as he dashed and executed a skill with quick precision.

"Rapid slash!!!"

"Guard!!!"

Unfortunately Zaheer saw through Adri's intention as he executed a defensive skill which blocked Adri's attacks.

After succesfully blocking all of that, Zaheer then quickly turned towards Adri as he took a leap and slashed his sword downward which was powerful enough to cut an entire section with ease. However Adri simply avoided the attack by flipping over Zaheer the moment he made that slash while executing a counter skill at his defenseless posture.

"Cross slash!!!"

Just like that Zaheer incurred a wound from behind, as he gritted his teeth and immediately swung his greatsword from behind as fast as possible.

Due to that Adri was caught by this attack befkre he could even land, as he barely blocked the strike with one of his swords, before being blown away by the force and crash unto the wall.

Due to that attack Adri dropped one of his sword Due to the impact of him defending from it, as he crashed squarely unto the wall so hard that it caused a crater to form from it.

From that point while he was recovering from that crash, he then saw Zaheer rushing in towards him with an intent to slash him in half, as he raised up his greatsword and swung it towards him.

In response to that, Adri quickly passed his sword unto his left hand, as he used that area to block the swing coming from the left, before he made a small jump to lift both of his feat off the ground with the wall behind him, and kicking away Zaheer in full force, causing him to crash unto the wall across the room and dropping his own weapon.

Aching in pain, Zaheer then hurriedly tried to get up, as he saw Adri quickly rushing towards him with sword in hand, as he quickly used his arm guard to blockmthe initial swing, before grabbing his breastplate and slamming him unto the wall.

The moment Zaheer manage to slam Adri unto the wall, he then used all of his strength to lift him up above the ground, as he threw him towards the dining table, and quickly follow up with a kick straight to the head, which destroyed the table in half and somewhat momentarily made Adri pass out.

However that didn't end there as Zaheer quickly punched him to the face, before he delivered a continous blow one after another until Adri begun to bleed and spar out blood on his face.

Without any hesitation, Zaheer then used one of his hands to choke Adri, as he suddenly heard the latter's struggling words as if threatening him of his position.

"Damn it... you bastard... do you think everything will end here? Your gravely mistaken... this will never end... if you kill me... I can assure you that the people behind me would take their revenge... your family, love ones, and people you care about... I assure you that they will be killed, I'll drag them all to the after life..."

Upon hearing that, Zaheer stared at him blankly as if he doesn't care, as he spoke out before pulling out an axe from behind him.

"I already lost everything... I have nothing to loose"

As he said that, he then raised up his axe into the air, causing Adri to panic a little as he struggled to get break free from Zaheer's choke.

"Damn it! Curse you..."

The moment Adri spat out those words of curses towards Zaheer, the person himself then slashed down the axe towards Adri's head, as his attack literally cuts his skull in half and completely killed Adri in one strike.

With blood smithered in his hands, Zaheer finally relaxed, as he got off Adri and sat back down to the floor while catching his breath. Just like that he was reminded again of his age, as he was literally too old for this kind of profession.

"Another kill for the count... I'm really too old for this"

Taking his time, Zaheer looked at the dead corpse before he looked at himself while wiping off the blood off his hand with the carpet on the floor.
