The moment Vaknin gave out his orders, all 12 soldiers charged forward, as both Ester and Hino takes on 6 each by themselves and have Fujino support them with various buffs.

As if it was rehearsed, Fujino quickly strung her instrument as she begun giving three buffs towards Ester and Hino using one song.

"Defensive Hymn"

With that buffs being charged towards them, thus giving them strength, both Ester and Hino charged forward as they try to get past the soldiers who are blocking their way. Like that both of them took on 6 enemy on their own.

First up of Hino's side, as soldier(1) rushed towards her with his sword above its head, Hino simply dodged its initial swing, as she quickly clenched her fist as immediately punched straight to its face with all her might. However since the enemy was wearing armor, her attack potency was somewhat reduced, making her unable to actually kill them with her attacks. After all the soldiers under the orders of the elite troops have quite an equipment which pertains to their durability.

Because of that, when Hino realized that fact, she then quickly clenched her other hand and quickly smacked down the soldiers head causing it to be forcefully go on all four on the ground.

With soldier(1) in that position, Hino then quickly stepped over soldier(1) and delivered a knee kick towards soldier(2) who was about to attack her during that timeframe. Due to her attack, soldier(2) fell on the floor which obstructed the path of the soldiers behind him.

After that Hino quickly stopped the attack of soldier(3) midway by blocking his arm from fully swinging down its sword, she then quickly pulled out her dagger and slashed its arms tendons in between the opening of its armor, causing soldier(3) to scream in pain, before getting its head smashed into the wall by Hino.

After that Hino quickly turned around behind her, as she kicked away soldier(1), before she suddenly spun around once more and barely dodged the full swing coming from soldier(4). However the attack didn't stop there as soldier(4) quickly followed up his attack, forcing Hino to duck down to dodge the swing, before doing a low spin and punching down Soldier(2) who was about to get up from the ground.

After that she quickly puts up her dagger as she blocked soldier(4) sword swing, before she quickly redirected its force of attack towards the ground and spinning around to kick soldier(3) back into the wall.

Seeing this soldier(4) became agitated as he attacked with an enhanced sword thrust, which Hino took advantage off, by using soldier(3) as a shield, and completely killing soldier(3) with the attack from its ally.

While soldier(3) was looking at soldier(4) with looks of surprise, Hino then surely felt that soldier(3) then died right after, as she quickly pushed the dead soldier towards soldier(4), before using the dead soldier's sword and using it to pin soldier(4) with soldier(3) by thrusting through the dead soldier which became the enemy's blindspot. Just like that Hino took down 2 opponents while using the less effort she could give.

After that she then took out a ball string from her pocket as she threw it towards soldier(5) ankles, causing it to fall down face first on the floor. Following that she then threw a knife towards soldier(6) which forced him ti go on the defensive, while she quickly jumped soldier(2) and repeatedly stab him on its eyes completely killing it.

Afterwards she then quickly parried soldier(6) attack, while instinctively dodging soldier(1) sword swing from behind. Following that she then took out a poison dart from her pocket, as she then stabbed it towards soldeir(6) neck, causing him to choked as he fell down to the ground and the poison quickly spreading inside his body.

Since Hino was using a very lethal poison about 30 times much worse than a cobras poison, and the fact that she injected it on the soldiers neck which is near the brain, it literally only took 5 seconds for the poison to corrupt its mind, completely killing soldier(6)

After that she parried soldier(1) attack upward, as she suddenly pulled out a dagger and stabbed it towards soldier(1) throat. As if that wasn't enough Hino then quickly punched the hilt of the stabbed dagger, causing the blade to go deeper inside and literally damaged its cerebral spine.

With soldier(1) dead, Hino then quickly retrieved the dagger with a single pull, as she quickly turned towards soldier(5) who just got itself free from the ankle restraints that Hino initially threw, as she quickly juggled her dagger into the air, before throwing it towards the unsuspecting soldier(5).

Just like that Hino easily took care of her side while feeling a slight fatigue from moving all around.

Going back a few minutes when the battle just started, Ester quickly transformed himself into a lycan as he charged towards his group of 6 enemies and initiated the first attack.

After pouncing at soldier(1) which is the very forefront of the enemy's formation, Ester then literally pushed the soldier down to the ground with his immense strength, as he looked at soldier(2) and soldier(3) that was about to attack him, and quickly threw soldier(1) at them like a ragdoll.

As if like a pin, all three soldiers were blown back, as Ester quickly used the walls as a jumping platform, in order to get to soldier(4) position.

Using his big wide lycan hands, Ester then grabbed soldier(4) head, as he used him as a weapon of sort to smack away soldier(5) and soldier(6), before he squashed its head in a single squeeze, as he threw the headless body upward and completely pinning it unto the wall with a powerful throw.

With his sharp claws, he then broke through soldier(5) tough armor, as he quickly bites off its head, before throwing it towards soldier(6).

Afterwards without giving it a chance to even take a breather, Ester pounced at soldier(6) and completely decimated him like a wild beast. Killing three soldiers easily like that, it was no question that Ester could also kill the remaining three soldier with ease, just like what he did.

If Hino's battle was like a tactiful battle with quick thinking and precision, Ester battle was a massacre due to the fact that boost of strength he received  from an unknown force. Unknown to anyone except Ester, such power came from a demon itself.

With that it didn't take long for Ester to finish his side, as Vaknin saw his troops death without even bathing an eye. Once all the people under his command were dead, he then finally begun to move as he faced Hino, Fujino, and Ester himself without any fear in his eyes.

"It seems like you've gained a new strength, come! Show me what you can do... Ester"

Back on the time when the huge blinding explosion happened, Ban together with Asmaveth were trying their best to protect Talia from Segel. Thankfully when Segel was about to deliver a fatal blow to knock both of them down, a huge blinding erosion temporarily blinded Segel, causing his attack to go awry. Using this chance Ban created a barrier for all threw of them, as Asmaveth took the forefront and tried to attack Segel with his death energy which he uses like some kind of a misty shadow.

However dueto inexperience in doing such battle style, Segel easily countered back the attack with his various ranged attacks which forces Asmaveth to take on the defensive

"You... that death energy, don't tell me your the guy that those useless cult were after? Haha what a luck to find you here, I never expected that you would literally voluntary to appear before me right now... what a bad move you made there"

"!!!"

"However I thought that you were strong person considering that you are a special being to the cult, unfortunately looks like I overestimated you... your weak, in fact you don't even know how to utilize your skills completely, it's like watching a baby swing its toy at me... pathetic"

"....."

"With the sin of wasting my time, I'll kill you in this place where you stand... after all the cult wouldn't mind if I kill one of their failures, in fact they should be thanking me instead"

After Segel said that, he then charged towards Asmaveth, as he swiftly avoided the death energy acting like some sorr of a tentacle and made its way near the person himself.

In panic, Asmaveth released his death energy forward like a flood, as Segel simply moved at Asmaveth's blindapot and completely avoiding the death energy.

Even though Segel said that it's wielder was weak and pathetic, the death energy is nothing to scoff at, after all from that one attack, Segel could see the whole area where he once before, was completely destroyed as if an acid had washed over it, making it fatal if it ever hit him.

Thankfully with his quick thinking, he was able to dodge such an attack and appear in Asmaveth's blindspot. Using that chance, Segel slashed out his short sword, only for his attack to get repelled the moment it hit the barrier that Ban had initially casted unto Asmaveth.

The moment Segel's attack failed to finish off Asmaveth, Ban then quickly took notice of this and casted three light spells to launch towards Segel.

"Orb of light!!! Mana bullets!!! Particle tracking!!!"

With that, a huge explosion rung out, as Segel barely defended himself from that attack while giving a distance between them and the enemy. With both Asmaveth and Ban working together, Segel had quite a hard time fighting th3 both of them as the former was tasked to attack him without care, while the latter was tasked to cover their six whenever necessary. With that Segel couldn't even have the leisure to take both of them down due to their teamwork.

However there was one flaw with their teamwork and the reason for that is both Segel and Ban were keeping a certain distance from one another. Such flaw was easily seen through by Segel as he begu racking his brain on why they would do such a thing.

Taking note that the cloaked figure is using death energy, then the Saint looking woman must be using a holy attribute magic, due to the various light spells that was thrown at him.  Two completely different opposite energy was being used against him. If that was the case then the flaw itself was already apparent.

It is already common knowledge that two opposing energy cannot coexist, like how water cancels out fire, both light(life) and death energy(dark) cancel each other out. The reason why there is a certain distance in between them was all due to the fact that they are trying to avoid canceling each other out.

Thinking up that far, Segel then came with a great idea to neutralize the two energy, which would give him a chance to kill both of them. Without a second thought he then quickly revised on how he approached this situation and charged towards Ban's direction instead.

The moment Ban saw this, She then quickly puts a barrier between them, only for Segel to take advantage of the barrier as a stepping stone and launch back towards Asmaveth, which caught the latter off guard.

Using a type of spell like an instantaneous teleportation, he then moved behind Asmaveth and sacrifice one blunt weapon to push Asmaveth near towards Ban. Following that he then threw away the blunt weapon quickly, as he pulled out a knife from his pocket and threw it towards Ban.

Naturally Ban immediately strengthens her barrier, only to notice that her barrier quickly breaks down instead the moment the death energy was felt near the activation of her holy magic. Like what Segel had theorized both magic energy cancelled each other out, which soon becomes a predicament for the both of them.

With no protection whatsoever, the knife squarely hits Ban's shoulder, as she fell to the ground with Talia scurrying towards her with a worried look. Upon seeing the situation, Segel couldn't help but smile upon seeing the situation.
