[Mayor's estate]

Back on the mansion, both Sato and Takahashi is dealing agaisnt Amit, as they both chased after her up the stairs, until they head towards the corridor, only opposite direction in which both Adri and Zaheer are clashing agaisnt each other.

As Sato closes in towards Amit while swinging his sword towards her, Takahashi on the other hand covered his openings, which often gave Amit quite a trouble when dealing counter attacks. It was like their combination was just perfect, however that is only an assumption as there is nothing perfect in this world.

Upon seeing that she can't seem to deal with them using weapon combat, Amit quickly used a different method of fighting style, as she used her chain blade to anchor the huge cabinet in the hallway and threw it towards Sato, which put the duo on a defensive the for just a few seconds.

However this few seconds is enough, as Amit quickly enforced her chains with mana and quickly formed a chain web on the hallway with an intent to stall for time. Due to this, when Sato and Takahashi saw those web like chain formation, both of them then swung their weapons agaisnt it, only to get repelled by the force of the defensive enhanced chains.

"This... we need to get ourself around it" said by Sato

"Move aside, I got a solution"

As Takahashi was preparing for a big attack while coating his sword with mana, Amit on the other hand begun scribbling on the floor with her own blood, as runes begun to glow, and soon float into the air and attached itself unto her eyes. In that moment her eyes begun to glow in deep purple, as darkness seemingly tried to creep unto her surrounding, causing her to look ominous with her purple eyes.

At the same time when Amit finished her preparation, Takahashi on the otherhand begun to attack the chain like web, by destroying the platform in which they are attached in quick and precise cuts. In a series of attacks which seemed to like last for only a second, Takahashi broke through the web like defenses, giving ample time for Sato to charge in towards Amit and slashed his mana enhanced holy sword, which caused a destructive wave to be projected and caused an explosion to erupt in the mansion which shocked snd scared the town's residents.

After blasting away a huge chunk of section in the mansion, Sato felt like something was off, as he literally didn't sensed his sword hitting something. In that moment while he was a bit confused on what happened to the enemy after his swing, he then suddenly felt the enemy's presence behind him, as he quickly swung his sword behind him, only to get parried by Amits blade and comboed by her series of attacks.

With that Sato was blown back from the force of the attack, as his hero armor set literally saved his life by tanking all the damage done to his body. Nevertheless, he was still blown back and outside of the tower, before crashing down outside the mansion itself.

With Sato temporarily down, Takahadhi quickly took the front as he charged towards Amit, only to suddenly feel his whole body freezing when Amit looked at him with her purple eyes. The moment she looked at him, his blood seemed to stopped flowing momentarily, as his muscles stiffened, and his breathing stop for a second.

"What the-"

Before Takahashi could figure out what happened to him, he was then suddenly kicked by Amit, as he shot across the room and zoomed pass Zaheer and Adri. Of course this interrupted Zaheer's concentration, but the moment Zaheer tried to find the reason why Takahashi was blown away like that, Adri then took this momentary chance and sent in a series of slashes towards Zaheer, only to be blocked by the latter's greatsword.

"You think you have time to be distracted on other things?" Asked by Adri while glaring at Zaheer

"I was just curious" answered by Zaheer nonchalantly

"Your curiosity will kill you old man"

After saying that Adri then begu  pushing back Zaheer, forcing the latter to take a quick jump back, before entering a stance and charging forward. But just as Zaheer was about to slash down his great sword, Amit's chains surprisingly wrapped around his weapon and restrained it from moving even an inch. With Zaheer's weapon restrained, Adri took this chance to attacks as he imbued his two swords with mana and launched a strike towards Zaheer.

Unexpectedly before his attack could reach Zaheer, the person himself swiftly grabbed his hands in one hand in mid attack, as Zaheer yanked the trajectory of the attack up to the roof, before landing a square hard punch towards Adri's face and sending him flying in one attack.

Upon seeing this, Amit quickly stuck her chains that is holding the greatsword unto the walls, as she rushes in towards Zaheer and slashed down her blade.

However Zaheer simply raised his arms guard to block Amit's attack without looking at her direction, as he quickly spun around and delivered a back swing which was immediately defended by Amit with her mana enforced arms.

Unfortunately that was not the end of Zaheer's attack, as he quickly grabbed the arm that Amit used to defend herself, and slammed her unto the wall and as if that wasn't enough, he also quickly followed it up with a punch which blasted Amit through the wall and unto another room.

In that moment just as Zaheer blasted Amit through the wall, Adri quickly charged at him with his two swords, as he tried to slash it down, only to be dodged numerous times, before Zaheer could find an opening and manage to choke him, lift him up to the air, and slammed him unto the ground.

After he slammed Adri unto the ground, Zaheer then enhanced his boots with mana, as he stepped unto Adur in full force and blasted him through the floor and crash unto the first floor below.

After dealing with two enemies, Zaheer walked towards Takahashi, as he pulled him up and asked what happened.

"What happened? Where's the other kid?"

"Sato was thrown outside, as for me... I don't know what happened, but I felt my whole body being frozen in space... what the hell is happening to me?"

After hearing Takahashi's words, Zaheer then saw a part of Takahashi's ear being turned to stone, as he quickly realized what is happening to him.

"Petrification...."

"!!!"

Petrification as an ability, often depicted in mythology, fantasy, and certain modern media, refers to turning a living creature into stone, usually through a magical or supernatural force. This power is commonly associated with mythical creatures like the Gorgon, such as Medusa in Greek mythology, whose gaze could turn people to stone. In fantasy settings, wizards, magical artifacts, or curses may also wield this power.

When a person or creature is petrified, they are instantly immobilized, their body turned into stone while preserving their exact form and expression. Depending on the story, petrification can be reversible or permanent, with some narratives offering a cure through magic, a special antidote, or the defeat of the creature causing the effect.

In essence, the ability of petrification is portrayed as a potent, often terrifying, weapon that can instantly neutralize opponents by trapping them in a stone form, rendering them helpless unless somehow reversed.

"Petrification? Like Medusa petrification?"

"I don't know what's this Medusa is... but yes"

"I don't want to turn to stone"

"You don't have to, what affecting you, is an inferior type of petrification due to the fact that it is slowly affecting the target... but since it is inferior, there is a way to avoid being turned into stone... and that is to kill the person who casted it to you"

"Kill?!?!?!"

Once again Takahashi was shocked frozen when he heard the word kill. Even though he had killed a lot of monsters in his journey, killing another person is a whole new level for him. Just a difference in perspective.

For him he treats killing monster as some sort of a game like experience and if he ever fights a person it is usually somewhere like a spar or something. But killing monsters is different from killing humans, that is where he draw the line, cause the moment he kills humans, that can then only be describe as murder in his dictionary.

In that moment his body begun to shake, as his breathing became hard, he does t know if this is because of the petrification ability, but his mind is currently in a mess when he learned that he has to kill a human.

At that moment while Takahashi was still in a disarray, Amit then slowly walked out of the room as she glared at Zaheer before charging forward. Seeing this, Zaheer quickly fought back, until he manage to kick her straight to her guts, and sending her away after multiple clashes.

"Snap out of it! This is real life not a fantasy, if you want to survive in this world, you have to kill" said by Zaheer as he realized that Takahashi was in a state of panic.

"I have my own enemy to deal with, deal with her as you see fit"

After saying that, he left Takahashi to deal with Amit, as he followed Adri towards the first floor and decided to deal with him instead.

In that moment Sato then arrived, as he charged towards Amit and blasted her through the flooring and unto the floor of the ground floor near the stairs.

"Are you okay?" Asked by Sato when he saw Takahashi on the ground.

"I... I'm fine"

Seeing Sato right infront of him, Takahashi couldn't help but feel relieved that he was here, for some reason he felt reassured and safe if he stayed near him. However he then quickly realized and remembered Zaheer's words. If he only rely to Sato to solve their class problems, how would they grow.

He wants to grow strong, strong enough that he could fight alongside Sato, however the only way to grow stronger in this world is by overcoming challenges and facing hardships, the right choices requires the strongest will.

He has to kill in order to survive, even though it is against his doctrine, he has to do it to grow stronger.

"Sato! Let's bring her down"

"Sure thing, let's go"

After saying that to each other, both Sato and Takahashi charged towards Amit as both of them attack from the left and right, which would leave a huge opening in Amit's series of attacks. Naturally this type of tactic really puts Amit in a disadvantage, as she is slowly being pushed back.

When Amit uses her petrification on Takahashi, the person himself would be frozen in place which would give her a chance to fight back, unfortunately Sato was there for the cover up, as he immediately attack Amit whenever he was given a chance. Due to that she always misses her chance which annoyed Amit.

On the otherhand if she tries to petrify Sato, her ability would simply be nullified as Sato was wearing a hero set which protects him from any ailments and negative spells. Amit was literally stuck, because of the hero, she literally can't do anything. However she did notice something unusual on Takahashi, and that is he has become even more violent than before.

In this sense he begun to disregard his defenses and fully focuses on the offense because of that Sato seemed worried as he noticed that 1/8 of Takahashi's body had begun to turn into stone. Even though he was worried, Takahashi's simply moved as if the petrification doesn't work on him and continued to attack in a frenzy.

Seeing this, Amit couldn't help but grow angry, as she shouted at the top of her lungs.

"Goddammit!!! You... If you haven't attacked this place, I wouldn't be in this situation..."

The moment Amit said those words, the mana in the room begun to grow thicker as lightning arc begun forming around Amit in an attempt to shock anyone near her, upon seeing this, both Sato and Takahashi  positioned themselves in order to deal with Amit.
