[Tekoa Town]

The night had just started, it hasn't been long since the had begun. In this moment while Ester had finally taken down Rueben by a stroke of luck, Hero Sato and the rest who went alongside him had just arrived near the Mayor's estate gate, due to a lot of people panicking and trafficking the place. Unknown to them Segel's shadow bypassed their group as it headed to the opposite direction with an intent to kill the remaining important person in Ester's life.

With two sides heading to their respective places unaware of the challenges they face, not one of them knew just how big this incident will be as the battle grows bigger.

"Heads up! I don't know what's inside that mansion, but I feel multiple powerful presence inside of it... if we lax even for a moment, some of us may die in the process" warned by Zaheer as he took ahold of the greatsword behind his back while leading the group.

Hearing his words, Sato, Takahashi, Hino, and Fujino nodded and agreed his words while holding tightly on their respective weapons.

Meanwhile while the hero group is slowly closing in on the Mayor's mansion, Azrael and Jophiel on the otherhand are calmly watching from afar on top of a building, as they were assigned to simply oversee the events that will transpire.

However in that moment both of them sensed something from the far east of the town, as Azrael felt the thick scent of death and Jophiel sensed the number of souls disappearing from afar. It was as if something was eating them or better yet destroying them.

"Azrael..." called out by Jophiel

"I know... I sensed it.... something is happening in that area... the smell of death is getting thicker in that place, I need to check it out"

"You don't even know what's causing this deaths in that area, it may be dangerous"

"Are you worrying for my safety? Cease that thought, no simple monster can kill beings of our caliber.... I'm going"

Without even waiting for Johpiel's retort, Azrael quickly unfolded his wings and flew off to the darkness as he  intended to investigate what is happening in the far east of the town which can make such a place smell a thick scent of death.

While all of those were happening outside, Ester staggered on his steps as he leaned on the wall, while feeling the aching pain in his hollowed left eye. Since the battle with Rueben has ended, the adrenaline is slowly subsiding in his mind, as he can slowly think clearly, while at the same time feeling more pain in his body.

However his adrenaline rose back up again, the moment he thought of his wife suffering inthe hands of Mayor Zoabi. Alongside it, the mysterious black energy that had seeped deep within his body is slowly making him stronger than he was a few hours ago. He doesn't understand what happened, but the person who is called Lucifer, had clearly done something to him by giving him power. With such power, he could successfully save his wife and even run away from this monstrous place.

"More! I need to fight more! I need to save her"

Repeating this to himself, Ester then slowly stood straight, as he continued to move forward and heading squarely at the stairs which will bring him to the second floor. However he suddenly stopped on his tracks as his keen of smell, suddenly picked up something the moment he was about to take the stairs.

With his ability and profession which he needed to go after numerous criminals who preferred a hide and seek chase, he often times had to rely on his nose to track people down, which causes his sense of smell to be akin to a dog as time goes on even if he doesn't transform.

Due to the fact that he had slept together with his wife Ziv multiple times throughout their relationship, he had come to memorize his scent to the point that he can locate where she is hiding.

With that he can't seem to smell his wife on the upper floors of the building, however he can smell Ziv's scent below his current floor. However that should be impossible, since Mayor Zoabi's estate doesn't have ground floor. He and been into this place multiple times in the past, he had known this building like the back of his hands and never once he found a pathway to the lower floors.

Unfortunately this time Ester wasn't thinking clearly, causing him to trust his own instincts instead. So with that he then passed the stairs as he tries to find an exact location where he can go in order to go to the lower floors. However just as expected, some people didn't like that.

Just as Ester was about to prepare to find the way down below the ground floor, Adri and Amit suddenly appeared  behind Ester, as they brandished their respective weapons only to be dodged by the latter the moment imhe sensed their presence.

After succesfulky pulling that dodge off, Ester quickly distanced himself from his attacker, as he glared at Adri and Amit while baring his teeth at them.

"Oh don't look at us like that Ester, you know that this would happen when you decided to attack the Mayor's mansion, don't blame this on us" said by Adri

"You started this Ester, so it's only right that you end it with your death" said by Amit

As Amit and Adri said their piece, soldiers suddenly popped out in the surroundings as it surrounded Ester and begun to trap him in a circle with their spears and swords.

"Give up now Ester and we may spare you otherwise"

"You.... do you really think I would believe you after all of that! Come at me!!! I'll tear you all into pieces"

Hearing Ester's answer, Adri smiled while Amit gave a simple nod, before giving her go sign to kill Ester. With that another battle broke out which further wounds Ester and brings him closer to death.

Just like that numerous soldiers rushed towards Ester all over the place, as the latter quickly partially morphed into a lycan, typically refers to a werewolf or lycanthrope, and begun fighting back the enemy.

After taking a huge jump to avoid a pincer spear stabs from all direction, Ester(lycan) then smacked down the convoluted spear in one strike, before he suddenly brought out his claws and  killed all the Spearman that initiall attacked him, by beheading them all.

Following that, while stepping on a corpse, Ester quickly pounced towards his next target, as he pushed him down to the ground, before he bit off the head of his enemy.

However the moment he did that, two swordsman quickly swung their blade towards him, causing Ester to suddenly dodge forward, before he turned around and killed them in one fell swoop.

After killing another pair, Ester quickly moved out of the way as arrows came flying in his direction, only to be cut off by a soldier who seemed to be wearing a uniform rather than an armor. Upon closer look, the uniform itself is the uniform used by the Tekoa's town brigade.

Realizing that the town's brigade had involved themselves in this conflict, Ester momentarily had a conflicting emotion towards his previous workplace, all due to his memories with his passed away colleagues.

However he quickly snapped himself back, as he kept reminding himself that his men are already gone and these people who wear the uniform is completely unrelated to him.

Dodging the attack coming from the person who wore the town's brigade uniform, Ester quickly disarmed the soldier, followed by breaking his arms, and ending it with smashing his head unto the wall.

But that attack coming from the town's brigade was just the start, as volleys of arrows came in, forcing Ester to find a corner to hide and got his shoulder shot when he tried to take a sneak peak at his enemy's.

Pulling out the arrow from his shoulder and breaking it apart, Ester morphed his arms into mantis sycthe, as he transformed his legs into a leg similar to a grasshopper.

After waiting for awhile until the volley of arrows disperses, Ester then quickly came out from his hiding spot, as he dodged the sudden surprise arrow shot, and charged right through the enemy's ranks in just a few millisecond. Using the mantis sycthe and the speed of his hoppers legs, Ester dominated the field as he blitz through the enemy's line and killed them off before they could even blink.

Upon seeing this both Amit and Adri, couldn't help but be surprised as Ester's combat prowess which seemed to have improve a lot in comparison to the last time they saw him.

"He is utilizing his power even better than before" said by Amit

"Indeed, but how does he compare to us?" Asked by Adri

"He is nothing" answered by Amit As she begun to take interest in Ester

"Yes! He is nothing compared to us"

Even though Ester had killed a lot of people already which literally littered the floor with blood, fatigue slowly catches up to him, as Ester begun to breath heavily while slowly being backed into a corner.

Upon seeing the exhaustion from Ester and his whole body being covered with wounds of both fatal and minor, the soldiers begun closing in as they plan to make him panic in order to lose his reasoning and attack recklessly. Once that happens, it will be quite easy for them to kill him in that moment.

"This can't be happening... is this where I die? I refuse to accept that... even if I'm killed here, I will keep cursing this place... even in death I will haunt you..."

In that moment when Ester slowly accepted his death and plans to become a sort of spirit of vengeance, a sword came flying in through the wall, as it struck the soldier nearest to Ester, causing everyone to suddenly turn their attention towards the crumbling wall and saw a group of people appearing beyond it.

"I... I think you just killed someone" said by Sato

"The sword just went through the wall..." muttered by Takahashi

"Well it's a short cut, I told you we would get here faster through a shortcut" replied by Zaheer looking proud

"The sword just went through the wall..." muttered by Takahashi

"Uh! Guys! Everyone is looking at us" said by Hino

"The sword just went through the wall..." muttered by Takahashi

"Will you please just shut it!!!" Shouted by Fujino as she grabbed Takahashi by the collar

"The SWORD just went through the WALL!!!"

Upon seeing new people arriving at the scene, Amit and Adri both gave a confused look, as they asked one another.

"Are they perhaps Ester's backup?"

"I'm not sure! They look stupid in their entrance skit"

"Doesn't matter! Kill them!!!"

As Amit gave her orders, the soldiers split their group into two as the half of them charged towards the newly arrived group. However instead of the fodder units, Zaheer has his eyes on one of the two elite unit, as he smiled and charged towards the dire tion of the greatsword that he had thrown.

Upon seeing Zaheer made his move and leaving Sato and the rest on their own, the hero group were soon besieged by the soldiers of the town, while Zaheer bypassed the crowd and safely retrieved his greatsword.

After that he then kicked up a sword lying on the floor, as he threw it towards one particular soldier, causing it to get his head be blown back and his face served as a foothold for when Zaheer stepped on it to jump towards Adri's direction.

Upon seeing Zaheer's action, Adri smiled in surprise, as he didn't expect such turn of events. Never did he expect that someone would target him, especially from a man who is greatly older than him.

"You look strong! Come fight me!" Said by Zaheer as he swings down his greatsword

"Never expected an old man to challenge me" said by Adri as he took out his dual Saber and defended himself

With that both of the wrapon clashed, causing shockwaves to be emitted and blow everything away in their radius.
