[Tekoa Town]

The scale of the battle in the Mayor's estate, literally caused panic and worry to its townpeople. One particular example is the old man and his son-in-law watching from afar as explosions rung out in the Mayor's estate, followed by something huge appearing as a silhouette causing screams to erupt from the spectating people.

Even though this incident is supposed to scare them, due to the scale of the battle, the lack of destruction and death of civilians, caused people to react less and regard such fight as simply a sparring battle inside the Mayor's estate. In fact aside from few panic and worry here and there, some brave souls seemed entertained as they watched from afar.

"Its pretty lively in the Mayor's estate, aren't they going to far for just a simple sparring match?" Asked by the son-in-law

"You know nothing boy, who knows, those hot blooded ruffians must had not notice the destruction they caused, due to the heat of the moment... its pretty normal especially if you once work in the mercenary industry" said by the old man

"Father! How do you know all of this? Are you perhaps once mercenary yourself?" Asked by the son-in-law

"Of course I am! I'm pretty famous back then, in fact I still have my trusty old blade when I was still in my prime. Because of how famous I am, women always flocked me wherever I go" bragged by the old man

"Now that's an exaggeration"

In that moment the old answer daughter and wife then called out to them about the dinners ready. After all the women had just finished their cooking, so it's natural that they had just finished preparing their dinner in that time frame.

"Old man! Stop that exaggeration of yours and come inside for dinner" said by the old woman

"You hag! It's not an exaggeration! It's all true! I even once defeated a vampire!" Insisted by the old man

"There are no vampire in this land dumb nuts! Plus I'm not a hag! I'm a proper lady right grandson?" Said by the old woman as she asked her grandchild

"Yes! Grandmother! Your the most beautiful woman there is" praised by their grandchild

"Yes! That's right! Grandma is really good looking back in the days, all the boys would always try to escort me back then" said by the old woman

"Bah! Now that's an exaggeration" retorted by the old man

"Honey! Please get dad to sit on the chair by the table, let's eat dinner before it gets cold" said by the daughter of the old couple and wife of their son-in-law

"Alright dear! Come inside dad"

As the son-in-law got the old man inside and the door was about to close, a hand suddenly reach out at the corner of their door, as the person smiled wryly while saying hus greetings.

"Good evening! Quite a deep night isn't it?"

"Yes indeed! By the way, who are you?" Asked by the son-in-law

"Ah right! I haven't introduced myself yet! My name is lucifer, you can call me Lu in shorter names or in a emergency.

"I see... welp I'll just stick to calling you in your short name"

After saying that, the son-in-law then hesitated for  moment, before he then asked Lucifer.

"Hey! We're having dinner,  wanna come in and try our meal?"

"Gladly!"

When Lucifer said those words, the son-in-law then happily brought him in, as Lucifer smiled widely while trying to hide the blood that was on his hands. Unknown to the family, lucifer had gone on a spree and begun killing any person who he can reach out. No matter what they are,  they all fell into one category in Lucifers dictionary, prey.

[Mayor's estate]

Due to the battle happening outside the mansion, Mayor Zoabi has no choice but to momentarily stop raping Ziv while in a bondage, before he suddenly decided to release all his pent up  frustration, before checking out what was happening. At this moment Ziv's eyes were lifeless as she gave up on everything and just let her body get used. After all, as long as she gave him his wants, the mayor would sooner than later leave her alone.

Not long after while he was holding down Ziv by the head, he then dug in deeply inside Ziv, as he climaxed inside of her, before pulling out and checking out what was happening. At the same time Jabarin barged inside the room, causing him to be slightly disgusted as the heat from the deed, greeted him which caused the whole room to stink. However since he has something important to report, he then ignored all these little frivolties and continued to alarm the mayor himself.

"Mayor! I think you will really ne3d to get to a safer place"

"What do you mean Jabarin? Don't you see I'm in the middle of something? That was just our fifth round, I'm planning to go on throughout the night with her"

"Unfortunately that will be impossible"

"What do you mean? Stop stalling and tell me the reason, is it something related to this bitch?"

"Yes it does! The husband of that woman, Ester is back and this time he is causing havoc and is out for blood, he had already killed some of our men"

Hearing Ester's name, Ziv's body twitched a little, as her eyes momentarily triggered a reaction, before it returned to its lifeless state

"That bastard? He tried to attack my estate again? Then what are you doing here? Teach him a lesson he won't forget, maybe cur off his arm for once, that would traumatized him more for getting to my territory"'

"You don't have to worry about that!"

"What do you mean?"

"What I mean is that, I already have someone trustworthy deal with Ester, upon hearing the explosion from above, it seems like  they are still fighting above"

"What? Someone else is holding him down? Do I know him?"

"I think you do"

"Who? Tell me! He deserve my support"

"Its Rueben... the new captain of the town's brigade, the one you personally promoted in replacement to Ester"

Hearing Ruebens name, Mayor Zoabi raised a knowing look, as he nodded and said.

"I see... that ambitious person, well if he succeed in taking down Ester, tell him I will grant any wish he ask"

"Understood"

After that Jabarin turned towards Vaknin as he ordered.

"Protect Mayor Zoabi well, I will be making my own preparations"

"Understood sir!" Replied by Vaknin

With that assurance, Jabarin then left to prepare for countermeasures in case the situation goes south, no matter what he can't afford to have mayor Zoabi get caught here. After all the current state of the kingdom isn't actually that great and anything that the royal family could use to absorb authority and gain more power, they would do so without hesitation. There are enemies everywhere.

In that same moment Ester(Giant Centipede) then chased after Rueben, as the latter tried his best to avoid getting caught in between the former's mandibles. However since the enemy is such a huge creature, it was quite ha4d for Rueben to outrun Ester due to his smaller frame. Nevertheless with exceptional evasive skills, he was able to dodge all of Ester's attacks and survived this long.

Unfortunately he realized that the longer he kept running from Ester, the latter himself was trying to slowly corner him little by little, putting Rueben in a difficult situation. But despite that situation, Rueben still stayed calm and begun to assess his situation and what he needed to do next.

After thinking all of that, Rueben then voluntarily ran up towards the corner of the wall, causing Ester to chase after him, before Rueben suddenly used his own momentum in order to climb up the wall with forward momentum, by stepping unto it at yhe right angle and moment.

Due to Rueben climbing up the wall in five steps while running, Ester then crashed hard unto the corner of the wall, causing a huge bang sound to erupt and momentarily stunned Ester himself.

Using this chance Rueben then quickly jumped off at his fifth step on the wall, as he did a smooth back-lit and landed right at the head of Ester himself. Of course Rueben knew how hard is the giant centipedes carapace is. With such an insect this size, it's exoskeleton is tough enough to tank a military grade explosion, while also being flexible.

So with that in mind, he then search for the area where the giant centipedes body is vulnerable, before he puts force into his attack and stabbed Ester(giant centipede) right to its left eye.

Naturally this snapped back Ester from his stunned state as it screeched like a real insect monster, before he thrashed his whole body around and sensing Rueben holding onto his body while plunging down his short sword deeper through his eyes. Of course this action posed quite a threat towards Ester, after all the eyes are like the only easy way accessible one can have in any creatures skull to hit its brain. So with the sword plunged deep into his eye, his brain could potentially be pierced which could result to his death.

That was also one of the reason why he can't afford to lose focus and turn back into his human form. Since him morphing back literally reshaped the size of his body, the moment he transforms back into his human self, the sword that was stabbed into his eyes would immediately pierce through his skull and kill him. After all only his body would change but not the length of the sword.

Thrashing all over the place while screaming in pain, Ester brushed his left side of his face unto the ground, causing trails of blood to follow his track, as he tried his best to remove the sword out of his eyes. By doing this even though he would damage his head which can result to being shocked and permanent brain damage, he was on the other hand able to get rid of the sword, which gave quite a relief for him to transform back safely.

However Rueben was still clinging unto his back, so with a screech he repeatedly slammed his body in all the hard places, which caused Rueben to be  crushed repeatedly which gave him quite a lot of injuries in his body but with no body damage that are irreparable all thanks to his luck. But all luck ends somewhere, just as Rueben was luckily dodging any potential irreparable damage to his body in this crashes, Ester then did something unimaginable, as he climbed unto the mansion and lift his body up into a jump, before falling down on his back in the estate's backyard.

With a loud and hard crash which shook the whole town, the ground itself shook for a bit, causing everyone to stumble and lose their balance momentarily. However in comparison to that, Rueben's situation is far worse than them.

After all while everyone slightly stumbled down, Rueben legs were crashed as a creature with the weight similar to three heavy trucks piled on top of one another, destroyed his left leg, including his bones which became an irreparable damage to his whole being.

Screaming in pain, crying, anguish, while not being able to move due to sudden whole body shock from falling down in great heights, Rueben tried his best to feel his legs, only to be disappointed when he realized he lost all the senses he had on his left leg.

On the other hand another scream rung out, as Ester turned back into his human form and felt the pain of losing his eye and the sensation of the sword piercing through his head. This time Ester crouched down in anguish as he cried in tears of blood, as the pain literally felt even worse now that he turned back into his normal size.

Due to him losing his eye and losing too much blood, he then momentarily fell to the ground as he felt sick and nauseated at the same time. As Ester was trying to regain his concentration, Rueben who was lying on the ground shouted at him and said.

"Just kill me! Dont leave me like this! Kill me please"

Going crazy from the pain, Rueben wanted all of this to immediately end, and the only way for that to happen was an immediate death and the only person who could move and grant that request was Ester himself who seemed to still be able to move.

Unfortunately despite his begging, Ester simply ignored Rueben as he was not here to fight him to the death at all, but rather save his wife. Seeing that there is no response from Ester, Rueben screamed out his name once more only to be met by silence as Ester turned his back on him.
