[Tekoa Town, Mayor's Estate]

A couple of minutes has passed, Jabarin together with Adri and Vaknin walked out of the estate's door and confronted Ester who was stopped by the guards at the gate. Seeing that Ester had made quite a commotion at the gate, the passing by spectators naturally begun to gossip one after another, as they tried to come up with their own theory on what happened.

Of course the rumors that Ester was actually alive is controversial, but what Zoabi did to the former captain of the town's brigade wife was an even more of a scandal than the previous news. For the majority of the citizens of the town, Mayor Zoabi is a highly respectable person with only few people who actually knew his true self.

So once Ester tries to blurt out something worth of scandal, all the reputation that Mayor Zoabi had built up will be for naught and of course they too will be affected by it, since their elite group is heavily tied to Mayor Zoabi.

"Why are there spectators? Disperse them!"

Seeing that a crowd had formed up, Jabarin ordered the gates guards to disperse the crowd in order to prevent from any information leak from the conversation between them.

Truthfully Ester is quite a handful person. Even though he has this sense of high justice and equalization, his loyalty towards the Mayor was top notch that even surpassed their groups loyalty towards the said person. However seeing that he is here, he most likely already know what happened to his wife Andis here to demand her back, just like the previous cases where the Mayor made reckless decision.

"Ester! It's a miracle! Your actually alive, what are you doing here by the way?"

"Jabarin! Sir! Please don't make this hard for me"

"What do you mean?"

Hearing that question, Ester gritted his teeth in anger as he shouted.

"Sir!!! Dont take me for a fool, I know what the mayor did, I also know what happened in my very own home, but please return her... return my wife"

"There seems to be a misunderstanding here, what happened to your wife? Please calm down and tell me"

"Shut up! Shut up shut up shut up shut up!!!! Just give her back! Please! I'll pretend that nothing happened, please give her back"

"Ester!"

In that moment a different atmosphere surrounded Ester, causing Jabarin to quickly notice his change and somewhat made him nervous for a moment. Upon sensing the sudden change, Jabarin then changed the tone of his voice into his colder voice as he puts his hand unto his face while looking at Ester.

"Your really annoying aren't you?"

"!!!"

"Why can't you just read the mood? I'm telling you, forget about your wife, forget about everything about her.... once Mayor Zoabi showed an interest in a person, he will then never give up until he gets what he wants"

"You... you can't be serious, your telling me to forget about her? Are you fucking kidding me?!?!?!?! After all I have down for him, is this how you repay me? Give her back or else... I... I... "

"I what? Do you really think you can handle the consequences? I'm not scared of you"

"You should be... after all If you don't bring my wife to me, ill kill all of you"

As Ester said those words, his atmosphere then suddenly changed as he left Talia behind and tried to walk pass the gate of the Mayor's estate. However Ester had enough as he was doing his best to keep himself in check.

As Ester forced his way inside, Jabarin told the rest of his team to not intervene and let him take care of this.

"This is my final warning Ester! Dont move! Leave this place"

Upon seeing that the mayor has really no intentions of releasing his wife, Ester then finally lost it as he charged towards Jabarin and tried to knock him down, in hopes to find his wife. Naturally Jabarin intervened as he stood face to face against Ester.

In that moment when they are now going up face to face, Ester made his first move to launch an attack as he swung his gist towards Jabarin in hopes to atleast knock him back, unfortunately Jabarin saw through that attack for quite awhile as he tilted his head to the side in order to avoid Ester's initial strike.

However that didn't discouraged Ester at all, As he quickly striked again and begun attacking Jabarin with flurry of attacks, sadly Jabarin moved carefully in between those attack and perfectly dodged all the strikes. After dodging Esters attack, he then punched Ester to the guts, causing the person himself to slid a few pace backs, before he quickly followed up and punched his face before getting smashed to the ground head first and being dragged around.

Afterwards he then threw Ester back to the gates, as the person himself crushed  unto the gates steel frames. At that moment, Jabarin thought that it was all over in that instant, however throughout the time Ester spent his days traveling around people who are stronger than him, his tenacity had then grownup.

So without getting knocked down, Ester suddenly sprung up as he dashed and slashed his claws towards Jabarin's neck, causing the latter to be surprised while trying to avoid that attack. In that sense, he managed to deal a slight injury at Jabarin when he successfully manage to put a cut on his neck.

"It seems like i underestimated you"

Seeing the cut, Jabarin noticed Ester's improvement in combat as he suddenly pulled out his greatsword and entered into a stance. In that moment he then begun to take on Ester even more serious thanbefore

But before Jabarin could even utter a single word, Ester suddenly attacked once more, forcing Jabarin to actually to actually move and use his greatsword to parry Ester's attacks. But successfully blocking that one attack didn't deter Ester, in fact he even started attacking  even more so than before.

Unfortunately no matter how many times Ester launch its attack, he can't seem to bridge the gap in experience between him and Jabarin. Due to that Jabarin quickly found an opening on Ester attacks and quickly turned the table on him.

Blocking his continous blows, Jabarin then used his own mana to create a shockwave which pushed back Ester by a few feet, before he closed in and used the flat side of his greatsword to launch Ester towards the gate and crashed through it and unto the streets outside.

"Slow..."

Hearing that rage swelled up once more inside Ester as he got back up and charged towards jabarin despite the pain he felt in his body. With a roar Ester morphed his hand into a mantis sycthe as he slashed towards Jabarin, only to be blocked by the latter's greatsword.

Getting that initial attack blocked, Jabarin then pushed that hand away with a single swing from his sword, before delivering a punch directly towards Ester's face, followed by a sword wave which blew Ester away even further.

"Lack experience... I could've killed you there if I didn't held back"

Hearing another insult, Ester sneezed out the blood that had clogged his nose, as his eyes become bloodshot and his finger begun to bleed from clawing the ground. However before he could even begun to make his move, Jabarin suddenly appeared infront of him with great speed, as he swung his greatsword down which gave him the illusion of his arms getting sliced off when he tried to block the attack.

In actuality, Jabarin's greatsword didn't even hit him, but rather landed on the ground 2 inches away from him. But due to how close the impact was, it literally gave the illusion that Jabarin had cut off Ester's arms which tried to intercept the attack.

"And weak... you can't defeat me"

As Jabarin said this, he then looked at Ester with great pity, as he pulled back his great sword and turned away. Upon seeing this, Ester was then in a state of shock and anger which he doesn't know how he could release it.

It was clear for everyone to see, he was clearly outmatched by Jabarin. If he can't even defeat Jabarin, how confident can he be to retrieve his wife from mayor Zoabi. The sheer gap between them made Ester's will to waiver.

"Its... its not over, get back here"

"Its over, you've lost... if you can't defeat me nor kill me, how do you expect to retrieve your wife from this place... strength is everything Ester, the strong devours the weak, and the weak cannot protect anything, you of all people should know this"

At this Ester fell on one knee right after he got up as his eyes were still glued at Jabarin's back.

"I... "

"Do you know why your weak?"

As Jabarin asked this question, he then pointed at his own daughter and said.

"That is because you still have a weakness, if I was serious in taking you down, I would've went for your daughter with the intent to kill... if I target her, it's only natural for a parent to risk its life and protect her, wouldn't that then assure that I could kill you? Your family is your weakness Ester, if you want to grow strong and invincible, you need to get rid of your weakness... if your weak, you don't deserve to protect anything"

As Jabarin said that to him at face value, the person then finally walked away as he ordered the guards to close the gate in order to prevent Ester from entering the estate.

Once the gate was closed, Talia rushed towards her father's side and tried to comfort him, as Ester bowled in tears from his powerlessness in this situation.

At the same moment when Jabarin returned towards the Mayor's office who seemed pleased at his work, the former then noticed Ester's wife slumping down on the floor while crying in front of Mayor Zoabi. It seemed like mayor zoabi had used this chance to further tortures Ziv's will as he showcased to her how her husband tried to save her only to fail at the very gate he tried to barged into.

Naturally seeing Ester alive brought back life into Ziv's eyes, but her joy didn't last when she witness her husband getting one sided beat up by Jabarin. Now that she saw her husband crying at the gate with their daughter trying to comfort him, Ziv naturally cried too in sadness as she felt sorry for the both of them.

"You did well Jabarin, I expected no less"

After that Mayor Zoabi looked at Ziv and said.

"Your husband tried to save you, sadly he was not strong enough, isn't that unfortunate"

After having his laugh, he then ordered his servant to lock Ziv up again in her place, as he complimented Jabarin nonstop. In front of Jabarin, Mayor Zoabi is literally the embodiment of human trash.

An hour passed Asagi and the rest of the group finally finished up on registering themselves, as they happily planned to stay for the night in Ester's house as guest of honor. But the moment they got to his place, they saw Ester thrashing the place as he was mixed with tears and anger.

As his defeat left him with huge shock, his powerlessness drove him into despair with nothing to vent his frustration, due to that he begun thrashing his own house while crying in despair. In that moment everyone in Asagi's group couldn't help but asked on their mind.

"What the hell happened here?"

While they were confused on what happened to Ester while they were away, her daughter Talia who looked troubled approached them and asked who the guest were.

"Hi! I'm Talia, who are you guys?"

"We're... your father's acquaintances, what happened to him?"

Hearing that, Talia told them what had happened to Ester while also openly stating on how she should feel in this situation. After all as a child who barely started to understand adult, all she know was that her father was sad and she felt sadness for him, but since she doesn't know what was actually happening and no one wants to answer her properly, she doesn't know how to showcase her emotion causing her feeling to be somewhat bottled up.

After hearing all that happened, all of them wore a grim expression as they all had a guess on what happened in that situation. But even if they knew what had happened here, they all don't know what to do since this case is literally unrelated to them at all, plus they can't attack the town's mayor recklessly like that, cause if they did such a thing, they would then be branded as enemy and since the mayor is also a type of politician in this country, they would risk of being an enemy of a country if they touched one of their own without proof or justification.

All they know that the mayor in this town committed a crime worth destroying his reputation, but they have no proof whatsoever since all they have are simply word of mouth.

"This... this is troublesome"
