[City of Avalon]

The whole place was like a battlefield, the magic cannons were roaring continuously, the towers were defending indefinitely from the powerful attacks of the Cryophoenix, the mages and alchemist were exhausting their skills and assets in order to fend off the enemy. All of this lasted for quite awhile to the point more and more personnel were being exhausted and the defensives are being overused.

But despite all that, the only thing that they could do in this situation was to not let the Cryophoenix from ever making contact towards the barrier than Albion had erected. In this moment in time, Asagi felt the state of presence of her angels, as she rushed out in the open ground of the city and glared at the huge ice birds in the sky, which is currently out maneuvering the attack's coming towards it.

Sensing the direness of the situation, Asagi quickly took ahold of Ariel's wrist as she pulled her closer in order to convey her orders. on the other hand as if guessing her thoughts, Ariel herself tried to dissuade her decision as she kept holding on to her queen.

"Ariel!"

"I know what your thinking my queen and I'm going to answer it already! I wont do it! I'm not gonna leave your side"

"Don't be stubborn Ariel! you should've seen the situation already, there is no place for stubbornness here"

"I know! but my orders is to protect you at all cost and i intend to uphold that"

"There is a time and place for everything Ariel! and this is not the time for that! your colleagues are dying out there and your rune law is the only thing that could save them from the brink of death"

"I'm  fully aware of what i can do with my rune law your majesty! As the rune law of transmigration, i can also exert the authority in line to life essence.... after all transmigration is akin to a whole new life"

"If you knew that much then you better use it to help the others that are incapacitated outside"

"But your safety is my number one priority"

"I can protect myself Ariel! Trust me! you should already know my capabilities after all the things i did.... so please! just trust me on this"

After hearing Asagi's words mixed in with a pleading face, Ariel finally gave in as she imposed one condition.

 "Fine! but once I'm away, i don't want you to put yourself in danger! Remember your a queen of a nation not a commoner, so your life is held much more of an importance than a regular person"

When Ariel said those words, Asagi hesitated for a bit, before she finally gave a little white lie to the one person she was close with among the angels aside from Michael. After all the reason for the white lie is because Asagi wanted to do her best in defending this city since the answer for her going back to her world  still remains in this place.

At this point of time, she was only given a different goal similar to a side quest before her request of going back home was given to her. She needs to uncover the danger and secret of this world, the purpose she was brought here. She will need to uncover all of that in order for her to be able to get back home to her old world. So among the people she knows that could assist her in doing so, is Albion himself.

As a mage with abundant knowledge, she believe that Albion can bring her back to her old world and reunite with her family that she left behind.

"Alright!"

After receiving Asagi's white lie, Ariel then nodded back towards her, before flying away outside the barrier with an intent to patch up all the angels that were injured in this operation outside. 

As she left Asagi begun gathering mana unto her palm as she plans to use her own magic to tie down the bird that was flying freely in the sky, but before she could do such a thing, Albion appeared before her through teleportation as he quickly called out to her.

"I don't think betraying your angel's trust is a good idea"

"I'm not betraying her trust, i just put up a white lie so that she wouldn't worry about me.... from the very beginning, i was planning to do this anyway"

"Hmm... no matter how you put it, you are in the end betraying her trust, but who am i to complain... I'm not a type of person who follows the rules, a little rebellion is not that bad"

Hearing the word rebellion that is align with the angels, Asagi couldn't help but  recalls the event in which Lucifer rebelled against god, which caused for his downfall and punished to be damned in hell for eternity according to the bible. Rebellion doesn't really bode well for anyone.

"Ahem! I'll keep that in mind"

As they were talking about this, a sharp screech from the Cryophoenix came form above, as it dive down towards the city in Mach 2 and slammed its whole body against the city's barrier which somehow slightly cause it to waver from the impact alone. Of course this impact caused the whole city to shake , as everyone who was under the barrier momentarily lose their balance from the phenomenon alone.

After seeing the barrier is still in tact, the Cryophoenix once more screech out loud as it climb up to the sky once more in an intent to doing the fall again. Of course the moment the Cryophoenix did this, multiple attacks came from all direction which hits its lower body and causing the Cryophoenix to cry in annoyance from the insect like damage

"We're not doing enough damage! we need for firepower"

Shouted by Amos from afar as he showed his frustration from seeing his cannons being neglected in front of a titan sized monster. After all his magic cannons were his prized inventions which he used during his conquest in order to win wars, now that he knows that such weapons were useless against a titan sized enemy, he then doesn't know how to feel as frustration rushed towards his head.

Sensing the frustration from everyone around her, Asagi turned towards Albion once more as she asked her question.

"Tell me! how long can the barrier withstand such an attack"

"I don't know maybe three more hits? maybe two if the Cryophoenix is smart enough to do the same act but with stronger force"

"I see... I'm going up there"

"Heavens armory... initiating materialization phase... humanity's masterpiece... weapon synchronization... Summoning Gleipnir!!!"

Dual manifestation, in exchange for a huge amount of her mana, Asagi summoned two mythological and divine weapons for her use in order to contend against the titan sized Cryophoenix.

Gleipnir, In Norse mythology, Gleipnir (Old Norse for "open one") is the enchanted rope that is tied round Fenrir. In its mythology, the gods attempted to bind the wolf twice before with large metal chains but both attempts ended with the chains broken beyond repair. They commissioned the dvergar of Svartálfaheimr to forge an unbreakable chain. To create this the the dwarves used six impossible ingredients: the sound of a cat's footfall, the beard of a woman, the roots of a mountain, the sinews of a bear, the breath of a fish, and the spittle of a bird

Therefore, even though Gleipnir is as thin as a silken ribbon, it is stronger than any chain. Fenrir sensed the gods' deceit and refused to be bound with it unless one of them put his hand in the wolf's mouth. Týr, known for his great wisdom and courage, agreed, and the other gods bound the wolf. After Fenrir had been bound by the gods, he struggled to try to break the rope. When Fenrir found he could not break the ribbon he bit off Týr's hand. As a result of this deed, Týr is called the "Leavings of the Wolf". Gleipnir is said to hold until Ragnarök, when it will break and Fenrir will be free to devour Óðinn and be killed himself.

Gáe Bulg, is the spear of Cú chulainn; made from the bones of a sea monster. It's meaning "spear of mortal pain/death", "gapped/notched spear", or "belly spear", was the name of the spear. It was given to him by his martial arts teacher, the warrior woman Scáthach, and its technique was taught only to him.

It was made from the bone of the sea monster the Curruid, that had died while fighting another sea monster, the Coinchenn. Although some sources make it out to be simply a particularly deadly spear, others—notably the Book of Leinster—state that it could only be used under very specialized, ritual conditions.

There are many variations towards this weapon, but the weapon held by Cu Chulainn stands out among the mythology. It is even rumored that such spear never miss its target and its only target whenever it is thrown is none other than the heart of its host enemy.

With this two weapons of myth's, Asagi plans to pull down the Cryophoenix off the sky and even shoot it down if necessary.

On the other hand, the moment Asagi used her spell, a huge torrent of divine energy clouded the whole city, which shocked Albion and even caused him to be bewildered by the appearance of such weapons. Such weapons of myth from earth doesn't exist in this world at all, so the moment he saw such weapons that he had seen and heard its name for the first time, his innermost curiosity as a person who seek knowledge was probed into finding out the deep secret of the weapon itself.

He was so shocked that all he could do was gawked at the weapon as his eyes was filled with excitement. In fact he was not the only one who felt such thick divine energy, the other mages and alchemist also felt such type of energy as they all suddenly got strengthened by such effective replenishment of energy. the thick yellow mana was so comfy to the point that they felt that they were being embraced by mana of a higher lifeform.

With this mana covering the whole city, the attack power and strength of spells coming from the city was greatly enhanced as the attacks became even more powerful to the point that it soon begun to hinder the Cryophoenix flight pattern.

Upon seeing how much of a help this mana had given them, the mages and alchemist begun pouring in their attacks as they tried to shoot down the titan sized bird off the air itself.

While this was happening inside the city, Ariel also felt such wave of energy coming from the innermost part of the city, as she realized that Asagi had literally broke her trust and chose to go against her wishes. But since she cant abandon the angels who needs her help in this huge crater on the ground, she then had no choice but endure her irritation towards Asagi's lies and continued in assisting the angels back to on its feet.

In this moment of time Asagi flew up into the air and beyond the barrier, as cold wind slammed on her face, causing her hair to swirl all over the place. quickly brushing up her away away from her face, Asagi glared at the Cryophoenix, as she plans to throw Gleipnir in order to forcefully pull down the titan sized bird off the sky.

At the same time the Cryophoenix saw Asagi as hit let out a sharp screech  before rushing towards her with claws and talons stretching towards her small body. 

Sensing the danger from clashing with those talons, Asagi quickly climb up in to the air using her wings, as she flew over the Cryophoenix, and barely missing the attack coming from such a monster.

After that when the Cryophoenix begun to turn around in a sharp right turn, Asagi then begun to follow it on its blind spot as she tried to out pace the Cryophoenix in terms of flying speed. But no matter how many times she exhaust her wings, the Cryophoenix was just tooo fast, as she was easily left behind by the monster before she got assaulted by the monster attacks.

Doing her best to dodge the attacks, Asagi swirled along the opening in each of the Cryophoenix movement, before she tried to hit its eye by thrusting out Gae bulg. But her effort were proved useless as the Cryophoenix kicks her away from it, and begun to use magic while distancing itself away from Asagi.

Seeing the magic attacks coming from the Cryophoenix, Asagi then dodged all of the attacks in great haste and effective flying top the point that non of the attacks even manage to hit her. But the moment she dodged the last ranged attack, her whole body then soon got slammed by the whole weight of the Cryophoenix, before she crashed against the  barrier that Alb ion had made.

From this attempt alone, it seems like the Cryophoenix was trying to enter the barrier by dragging along Asagi in hopes it would get a free pass to enter the barrier. However despite that attempt the barrier didn't budge at all, causing Asagi to get squished in between a unstoppable force and an unbreakable wall.

This time with a even powerful impact than before, Asagi couldn't help but feel her whole body getting crushed under the pressure, as she grit her teeth in hopes that she could endure the pain that she is currently feeling. But what she didn't know that this pain was just the beginning as the Cryophoenix attacks became even more violent the longer for it to take take down a single city.
