[City of Avalon]

As the violent quake shook the earth, the mana circulating n the air, suddenly changed, which caused all the people who are sensitive to mana to be shocked and alarmed by this sudden change. In this note, Asagi, the archangels, the alchemist , the mages, and even Albion noticed this sudden change as they also felt the violent quake which disturbs the peace of the city

This was the first time  that everyone had felt such a violent quake. The magnitude alone was comparable to the magnitude of the quake of Ecuador - Columbia earthquake in 1906, which had the magnitude of 8.8, making it one of the most powerful earthquakes ever recorded back on earth.

However due to the layer of protection from and layered defenses of the city and its surrounding vicinities, the damage sustained from such quake only amounts to avalanches and destructions in the mountaintops. Other than that, everything was maintained the way they are through magic.

Even though there was minimal destruction, one cant just ignore what caused such violent quake. Because of that Albion quickly traced back the source of the quake with his own mana as he senses a formidable presences on the west side of the city coming from one of the mountain bordering the land of Avalon.

Based on what he remembers, a certain creature lays dormant within those mountains in the west. Since the source of the quake came from the west itself, then there is only one meaning behind such violent quake. The monsters sleeping within the earth in the west, must have been woken up by something and was now about to be fully bloom in this cold ice ridden land.

Upon coming to that realization, Albion couldn't help but be worried, as he felt an ominous feeling brewing within his heart, just by coming to such conclusion. After all the awakening of such monster was not a good thing at all. There was a reason why monster's were put to sleep, and that is because in their wake, destruction follows. Now that the monster's had woken up, it would be only a matter of time before destruction ensue and endanger his own city that he had fruitfully built throughout his long years.

Without giving any thought and informing the various stand-up leaders of the city, Albion begun casting his magic in quick haste as he directly covered the whole city with a defensive barrier which caused everyone who recognized his mana and sense mana to feel the dread in the situation. After all the creator of the city himself had made its move, meaning there was something wrong in this situation and something dangerous was approaching the city

Throughout their time of living in the city for the majority of their lives, all the citizens knew the graveness of the situation, which caused various tower master to act hastily and command every single people in the city to take refuge within the city walls and close the gates.

The tower master Coral, Shein, Hanson, and Brunch led everyone to evacuate within the city walls and order for the closing of the gate. The tower master Cerelyn, Kazzess, Solvient, and Geneva, begun their work of putti9ng up defensive machines and magic around the city for any possible threats, alongside it they also begun sending out familiars outside the city, while also remotely activating the defensive mechanism outside the city itself. Lastly the tower master Shale, Spriggan, Cerebrus, and Belfast, quickly prepared their own mages for combat while also inquiring information from Albion.

As everyone got busy in trying to prepare for in predicted danger, Asagi on the other hand together with Michael, Ariel, and Amos, Leon who just returned from the Azure kingdom, were confused by the situation as they looked everywhere and saw everyone being frantic about the situation after the violent quake.

 "What's happening?" asked by Asagi

"I don't know" answered by Michael

"Find out what's happening quick!" ordered by Amos

Hearing Amos order, Leon quickly pulled the bypassing mage in front of him and asked the situation at hand.

"What's happening! tell us!"

With Leon's urging, the mage then nudge away his hand, as he answered

"The supreme sorcerer Albion made his move to set up a protective barrier around the city"

"And that's a bad thing?" asked by Leon

"Of course its bad! this is why foreigners are ignorant of the ways of other territories! Basically if the supreme sorcerer make his move after a sign of disturbance, that only indicates that something bad is about to happen... we need to prepare in order to confront this danger and all the event where the supreme sorcerer intervene are not just your simple events, but rather events that could literally kill us all if not handled properly"

After the mage said those words, he then ran away in quick haste, leaving the rest of them behind while also giving slight information for everyone's distress. Additionally as if giving them the last push to move, Amos suddenly saw a foresight of the future where something, or somewhat was attacking the city which would end with numerous deaths if not taken care of.

Upon seeing that vision, Amos then finally understood the graveness of the situation as he quickly relayed what he had seen towards Asagi and the company. After telling them what he had seen, Asagi begun to move as she gave out orders for eveyro0ne.

"Amos! i want you to help everyone in the gates to evacuate anyone outside the city walls into the city and i also want you to set up your cannons, bring Leon with you too" said by Asagi

"That sounds easy" said by Amos as he quickly left together with Leon

"Michael! i want you to return to the Azure kingdom and mobilize a force in order to take down the thing that would be attacking this city"

"Understood! Ariel! i leave her majesty to you" said by Michael before taking off into the air

"Ariel! you come with me, we will go to Albion and see if we can do anything to help in this matter"

"As you wish your majesty!"

With those orders being given, everyone then made their move, as they all hurried over in order to complete the task given towards them.

Not long after Asagi had given her order, Michael rushed back towards the Azure kingdom with his utmost speed, as he quickly informed all the archangels regarding the situation at hand and assemble a force to go down to the surface and contend against this upcoming problem. Since it was a direct order coming from their queen herself, there were literally no questions asked as all archangels had mobilized for this operation together with a  few picked elites within their group

Since Azrael doesn't have unit of its own, he then joined the operation as a solo as he followed the stream of angels descending from the heavens above. However not long after left the ground of the azure kingdom and descended down beyond the clouds, he suddenly sensed an energy of death coming from a certain directions within the mountains in the west, as he looked back and forth towards that energy of death and the descending angels in front of him.

After slight hesitation, Azrael strayed away from the group of descending angels, as he zoomed past the clouds in his highest speed and went deep towards the mountain ranges on the west.

While this was happening, Amos quickly set up his own personal cannons along the walls of the city, as he also made garbed Leon with an armor set which has the highest durability within his storage space. In this operation he plans to use Leon as his personal meat shield and a tanker for any cases an attack came upon the city. Since there were many mages along the walls too, in preparation for the danger, then perhaps among them, at least one person cold use healing magic to further support Leon's upfront wall.

While the angels were on their way down to earth and Leon was on its way to prepare a wall to protect everyone inside the city, Asagi on the other hand together with Ariel entered Albion's tower as she barged inside without any permission and walked pass by the rushing mages. Due to the situation at hand, everyone was so busy to prepare for counter measures that they cant even spare any thoughts towards Asagi intrusion.

Of course despite that busy state, some people still managed to notice her, as they tried to stop her from roaming the tower wantonly and give her a grave warning for her intrusion. However due to the rapid changes of traffic within the tower, those adept mages soon lost Asagi's trail as they found themselves stuck in the traffic of incoming and going mages.

With no obstru8ctions before them, Asagi soon came before Albion's door as she realized that she cant enter his room without even figuring out the runic language inscribed within the door. For the first time since awhile, Asagi herself was completely stomped on what to do and was confused on what to do next.

"I think we need to figure out the runes in the door first your majesty!" said by Ariel

"I know.... I just didn't expect that we would get this far... in fact i totally forgot that there is a door like this"

"Then can you answer this your majesty?"

"Look! math's language is already hard for me, especially science.... on what universe do you think i can solve this?"

As if hearing her complain, the door itself opened up on its own, as it made creaking noises, and Albion appearing behind the door. Seemingly Albion noticed Asagi's presence behind the door and seeing that she doesn't know how to open the door, he had no choice but to unlock it from the inside in order to meet with her.

"Your majesty? what brings you here?" asked by Albion

"Albion.... explain to me everything... just what is the meaning of this chaos? Is it true that something dangerous is approaching this city? I heard from one of those low tier mages that you would only apply barrier within the city if you deemed something dangerous approaching the city! so tell me what is this thing they are talking about?"

"It is not confirmed yet your majesty! i only felt its presence but i haven't seen it with my own eyes, i don't have clairvoyance and i can make a prediction based on what it is... all i can say is that thing is dangerous and for some reason it had suddenly woken up"

"Are you sure? i feel like your holding back some information, I'm pretty sure you know what's coming... so out with it"

"... I cant do that....

"So you do know it"

"!!!"

"Holding back information in this time of need is a grave offense Albion, if you were a court mage of some sort in a kingdom, your act today would be equivalent to a treason to the throne"

"Well I'm glad I'm not a court mage but rather a free one"

As both Asagi and Albion stared at each other without even blinking and trying to discern each other's thoughts. The ground shook violently once more, which caused both of them to stumble off their foot hold and forced them to take a hold of someone or something to stay a foot. This time however instead of ending it with that violent quake, one of the mountain in the mountain ranges of n the west, then exploded violently which destroyed all the surrounding mountains encircling around it.

Following that explosion which left everyone to glance at that specific mountain, A gigantic wing spanning about 60 meters equal to 197 feet, popped out of the smoke that filled the top of the mountain, followed by another wing popping out beside it. Following that a huge like bird head popped out of the smoke followed by its flapping of wings which blew away all the smoke and fog and showcases its whole body as a whole.

Its whole body sizes about 30 meters tall in height, with a width of about 15 meters, in addition to its 60 meters wingspan, it is literally a huge bird made out of ice. Anywhere you look, the body of the bird itself is made up of pure ice. Its eyes, mouth, legs, body, and wings, a perfect example of a sculpture. However in this case, this sculpture like magnificence, is alive and exuding out a dangerous vibe.

Opening up its mouth and spreading out its wings as if to assert its dominance in the sky, the bird made out of ice, the screeched in a high tone scream which shook the earth and alert the world that it had awaken.
