Taking note that Belfast himself is the 1st Archmage of the white tower. Every person in the room are prominent figure in the city of mages, and everyone had a differing age from one another. Some are old people, some are young, and some just look young but are actually old people.
"On one side we have the Arch mages of each tower who handles any topic or work related to magic and another side we have the Grand Alchemist who handles any work or topic that is related to alchemy"
After Albion's words, each and every single one person in the room then introduced himself towards Asagi with much courteousness. Of course this is taken into consideration that Asagi herself is a queen and a royal blood which can be put on the same level of Albion in terms of management of a certain territory. However the one thing they all have in common is that they have respect towards Asagi due to her owning a floating kingdom which sparks the curiosity of anyone who is related to magic and alchemy.
Even though there are magic that can make one fly, it is quite hard and taxing for someone to use flight magic in order to carry stuff that is unrelated to the caster's body. Due to that flight magic is labeled as a higher form of magic which is pretty much complex due to its high requirement to cast.
Each and every magic has certain conditions to be casted successfully, those conditions and restrictions can be seen in a magic circle in a form of encrypted letters. With the help of those encrypted letters, anyone who has mana and had learned the proper manner of casting a spell can use magic as easy as taking a breath in a morning due. However in some cases this encrypted letters which is found in every magic circle can be broken through and surpassed by any casters who researched magic. Due to that, magic keep developing overtime as more and more people tries to surpass the magic that is created in the past by the ancient people.
The same can be said in alchemy. But in this course, the development itself is quite apparent, since alchemy is in line to science back on earth. It doesn't need any mana or complicated magic just to research alchemy. All it needs are proper materials and a paper to record their discovery and write down their theory.
In the case of the floating kingdom that hovers just right outside of the city itself far beyond the clouds, such an object itself is quite a spectacle for anyone who researches for the ultimate knowledge or anything related to the root.
For the mages they are curious on the fact on how such a huge and heavy object that weights more than a mountain could float above the clouds. Since it is practically difficult for them to even encrypt magic in order to make a heavy object float conveniently, it is quite a mystery for them to see how such a thing could even fly up high. All they conclude is that the kingdom itself is highly supported by a very complicated encryption which enables it to float above the clouds.
As for the alchemist, they had longed to fly up into the sky without the use of magic. Even though some of their potions could achieve such effect of making a person fly, none of their works could achieve such a stunt in which they can make a whole country fly up beyond the clouds. Through that they became curious of the kingdoms mechanism on just such a thing could float and what catalyst could make such an impossible feat as possible.
Now that the very owner itself is right in front of them, they cant help but pay their respect while still holding back their urges to ask her about her floating country.
"Oh yes! take note... Asagi here is not human, she is actually of a higher life form.... she is an angel, literally... I presume all of you guys know what an angel is?" asked by Albion
In response towards Albion's words, every single person in the room puts on a confused face as they don't know such a term. For them magic and Alchemy is their life, because of that they don't have any knowledge whatsoever in regards to religion, thus they don't know anything about beings of higher life forms that exist in a different plane.
Upon seeing their confusion, Albion couldn't help but twitch the edge of his mouth as he cant believe just how secluded this old folks are. At that moment he then understood their feeling as he remembered that such old folks never even considered traveling the world, due to that the only knowledge they have are the topics and discussion regarding the northern continents only.
If one has to sum it up then this group of people are just a gathering of introverts who doesn't even know the world they live in.
With a sigh Albion then caressed his forehead as he thought on how much these old folks lost from secluding themselves in this continent alone. During his younger years, Albion had traveled the world and learned a lot during his travels. With all those knowledge he had collected, he was able to lead this city smoothly which had no concept of king, everything was all due to his effort of learning the outside world.
In order to clear things up, Albion then explained the meaning of angels per say on what he had learned during his earlier days of traveling the world.
"In various theistic religious traditions, an angel is a supernatural spiritual being who serves God. Abrahamic religions often depict angels as benevolent celestial intermediaries between God and humanity. Other roles include protectors and guides for humans, such as guardian angels, and servants of God"
"So basically like an organization of some sorts?" asks by Spriggan
"...Um yes... uhhh no.... its complicated, all i can say is that they work differently from how an organization works, but they do have hierarchy on the level of being they represent" answered by Albion after blanking out for a bit
"I see... so not even you can explain them as a whole" reacted by Belfast
"Well that's a first" commented by Cerelyn
"I know right? This is the first time that Albion blanked out for a moment" added by Solvient
"Interesting" reacted by Spriggan
"Um... its not like we doubt you or anything senior Albion, its just that we are just curious on what beings you call angels... since we literally have no idea what they are" said by Coral
"...You don't have to explain yourself Coral! I understand, i'm not mad nor disappointed.... i just wished that all the people who governs this city could actually try to go out once in awhile, staying coop up inside a room is not good, especially for young people like you" replied by Albion
"Oh okay! glad to hear" said by Coral
After that Albion then quickly shifted the attention of the meeting, as he then turned around and proceeded to ask Asagi.
"Well this is the council in this city, if you have questions or clarifications, you can ask anything"
"Well there is one thing, if one side is Archmage that is in the line of the mages and on the other side are grad alchemist that is in line with the alchemist in the city, just how do hierarchy works here?"
"Oh that... well the hierarchy shows as follows" said by Albion as he commanded runes to float up into the air with a move on his hand and cast them to form like a sheet of paper which dictates how the ranking goes in the city

"What you see there is the current ranking system of the city and i for myself is the most top ranking, while this people here are my right hand and left hand compatriot in governing this city" said by Albion
"I see... so like democracy, a place wherein there isn't only one person who governs a city" muttered by Asagi all on her own
After keeping everything in mind, the questioning then begun as each individual in the room showed their curiosity towards this new visitor from afar.
"Starting first why have you come here? What's your purpose?" asks by Spriggan
"Well... i'm here because i was searching an answer to why i was brought to this world" answered by Asagi
"And you can find it here? I'm pretty sure finding one's purpose can be done elsewhere, so why specifically here?" asks again by Spriggan
"Because this is the only place why i can find it... and looks like my visit here wasn't a waste"
"How so?"
"I've already accomplished it about a few days ago"
"I see so you were the cause of that sudden distortion in space a few days ago" reacted by Cerebrus
Hearing another person's voice, Asagi turned her attention towards the Archmage wearing red robe as she then nodded accordingly
"Is there any problem with that?" asks by Asagi
"No! there is no problem, space distortion is usually common in the city filled with people searching for the root.... its just that space distortion that happened a few days ago is quite unique and different from your normal everyday distortions, so we were quite shocked at the same time surprised" explained by Cerebrus
"I see..."
"So you accomplished what you came here for right?" asks by Solvient
"Yes" answered by Asagi
"Please do tell! what did you find?" asks by Geneva
Hearing that question, Asagi then shut her mouth for a bit as she contemplated whether to tell them what she had learned from that meeting with the others or not. But as if reading her worry, Albion then sneakily squeezed in as he then said towards the council.
"It seems like whatever she found is highly classified and if its highly classified we just cant extract it from her against her will"
With Albion's words, Geneva then slowly respected his words as he back away and let anyone else to ask her question.
"Well putting your purpose in coming here aside, we wanted to ask you about your floating country" said by Shein
Hearing that everyone then perked up their ears as they realized that they have finally entered to the main discussion of the day. They just didn't expect that Asagi's visit would be so controversial to the point that they got curious about her. Now that someone pointed that out, they can now start to pour in their attention towards the main topic that they were planning to ask.
"About my kingdom? alright! what do you want to ask?"
"Oh its nothing grand, we just what to know how your country achieved such high levitation of an heavy object, after all based on our research as a whole, we are nowhere nearly close on using levitation magic or formation in order to lift such huge mass up into the sky or even beyond the clo0uds, so begs the question how" explained by Shein
"That's... all i can say is that with the help of multiple layer functions and a core"
"Core?"
