Chapter 129: The Third Triad Principalities III

[City of Avalon, Central Tower Deepest Floor]

What the principality just said was more akin to a prophecy, but reading the meaning in between the lines, such words may be particularly pointing out a massive war in the future. Asagi herself had experienced war in a year less, but all of wars, skirmishes, and battles are all solely won by her strength and the strength of her kingdom alone.

However in the words of 'gather you allies', this clearly depicts that the incoming battle that she will need to face on in the future won't be a simple one. With that question in mind, she then faced the principality again and proceeded to ask.

"This war... does it involved the whole world?"

By asking this question, Asagi could determine whether such scale of war was similar to as world war or just simply a territorial war inside one mass of land. She may not have any experience in fighting the battle in the former war, but she was confident that she can handle the latter. Nevertheless by asking this point, she would be able to narrow down her scope and prepare for what's incoming. However the principalities words clearly shocked her.\

"It can be deemed as such and it can be not"

"What do you mean? is this not some kind of an important event? if you want me to fight your battle, then you better fess up some information, after all information is important in achieving victory in a war"

"Do not mistake my words o chosen one! This is simply not our own problem, it is likely thy own too... all we need from thou is to prepare"

"That's the point! prepare? prepare for what? I cant just go on ahead into this trouble blind"

"What i just given is all i can tell, you want answers... you can search for it"

Hearing her words, Asagi's ears perked up as she seemed to somewhat understood what those words meant but also confused at the same time. If the principality was telling her to find the answer for herself, then the answer she had in mind must be laid elsewhere in this world. If that was true, then such an order was akin on telling her to explore the world itself.

"Find the answers? are you telling me that the answers i'm looking in regards to the prophecy you entailing lies elsewhere in this world?"

"It is indeed what it is, is is better for thou to learn it for thyself rather than relying on thee... didn't you come here in regards to only find thy purpose in this world? reason why thou was chosen to be transported? I've already answered the question clouding your mind for the past months... my duty is almost over"

From those words, Asagi was clearly speechless in that regard as she cant even utter a single falsehood from what the principality had said. After all it is true that she traveled far an wide towards this cold lands in order to find her purpose in this world, and now that questions were answered, the principality's duty can be said to have been fulfilled. Any questions she had in her mind were truly unrelated to her original purpose. Due to that she cant refute the principalities words.

Through her silence, the principality then moved its eyes away from her and pointed its finger towards the direction of the west side of the world.

"Travel far o child chosen for this wretched fate, to the west far you go, to the yellow land of scorching sun, to the land land full of betrayals, schemes, and sin, to the land governed with iron fist. Find the wise, find the old, find the strong, it will lead you to the answer you seek. But do not be discouraged o child, temptations may find you, but you will reach your goal as long as you stay true to your will"

"... That..."

"I've said my piece, it is up to you on how to find it"

Hearing those words akin to prophecy once more, Asagi then looked towards the direction that she was currently pointing at, as she seemed to understood and perplexed on what to do. But in the end if such a thing or goal was given to her, then she had no choice but to follow through, after all whoever was behind the principality, may be the only answer she had in returning home back to her world.

"I understand.... so you want me to go west right? fine! if you say that the answer regarding this war can be found somewhere on the west side of the world, then maybe i should go head over there"

"Indeed"

"....."

With Asagi staying silent, the principality seemed to see through her mind as she once again spoke out"

"Thou still have another question related to your purpose i see..."

"Huh?"

"Thou seemed want to know whether the archangels you have alongside you is real or not"

"... That... I..."

"Thy shall not explain further, i'll answer it myself"

"....."

"All i can say is... they are not real"

"... What? I mean how can that be?"

"The archangels given to thou by the being up high, is nothing but simply imitations of the real thing.... a fragment if you will... the plate of this world cannot handle the mere presence of a true archangel in a sense, due to that a fragment was formed and given to you in order to form your very own archangels... i believe thy found it true to a sense?"

"....."

"Thou must noticed that thy archangels isn't accurate in power scaling in accordance to the book written by humans to depict gods deeds. The reason for this is because thy archangels within thy reach is nothing but a mirror image of what the original looks like, a shadow of its original selves.... nevertheless thy archangels are still strong in a sense, as long given time to fully harness each rune law of the world, i believe they can at most exert their original selves strength"

Hearing those words, Asagi understood that she was referencing towards the bible when she talked about the book made by humans depicting gods deeds. In fact she also wonders that despite being stronger that the beings of this world, the archangels seemed quite lacking to what the bible entails in regards to their strength and power. Now that she was given the answer that the archangels she had was merely an imitational fragment of their original selves, she now understood why her archangels seemed quite inaccurate to the lore depicted of them in terms of actual strength almost rivaling a natural disaster.

"That explains a lot of it"

As Asagi begun drifting into silence again and was about to conclude their meeting with each other, the principality then walked over towards her with slow steps as it also begun to look far away as it told something towards Asagi in order to motivate her.

"Worry not! All your efforts will be rewarded... there is a way to return to thy world"

Perking her ear up after hearing a way to return to her home, Asagi then darted her eyes towards the armored angel as she then begun to confirm what it had just said.

"A way to return... Is there really such a way? are you saying the truth?"

"We do not lie, lying is an act of taboo for us.... what i say is the truth"

With that Asagi's eyes shot up with hope once more as her voice seemed somewhat wavering from this kind of information. After all, aside from the information regarding her purpose in this world, she was much more concerned about the fact if she could ever return back to her own world.

This was her primary concern all this time. She was even skeptical if everything that she was doing was worth it, if the end goal itself could even satisfy her desire. Ever since she was given her first mission after moping around, all she had in mind is whether she would get to go home after accomplishing everything that was given to her. Now that returning back to her world was already confirmed from the mouth of someone who is forbidden to lie, she then regained hope on returning as she clenched her fist and seemed somewhat joyful with tars from such information.

"How? Tell me how can i go back? is it some kind of a spell? item? phenomenon?"

"Such information is restricted for thou, once thy achieved what was needed from thou, thy will be rewarded accordingly to thy desires"

"I see... so all i need is to accomplish the mission given to me right? you want me to go to the west and prepare for the war right? fine i'll do it! all i need is for your side to keep your word, a ticket to return home"

"Thou shall not worry, we will fulfill everything thy desires after everything is finished.... now bring salvation to those who is lost... we expect much from thou"\

With that, the principality then ended their talk as it snapped its fingers and let the time of the world run its course once more. In just a blink of an eye, time resumed for the world as wind begun to flow, dust then started to fall, and even sound begun to be heard once more. Alongside the resume of the worlds time, the principality then disappeared from sight, as Asagi was left alone in the room with a huge blue orb in the middle of the spacious room itself.

With that Asagi then packed up, as she walked to the stone door, and used her own magic to open it from the inside. Once the door opened again, Albion then gave her a gentle smile, as Amos gave her a confused look.

"Over already? what happened?" asked by Amos, completely oblivious that the world had stopped its time for a couple of minutes already.

But before Asagi could answer, Albion then approached her as he then congratulated Asagi for her return. Seems like somewhat based on his happy expression, Albion seemed to notice that the time itself had stopped for quite awhile. After noticing such things through sensing the change of mana in the air, Albion seemed to come into conclusion and somewhat understood what had just transpired.

"I believe you received quite a satisfactory answer to your questions? after all it seems like your somewhat glad that some burden on you have been cleared up" asked by Albion

"... Yeah... i'm glad that everything is clear, now i have a goal i needed to accomplish" answered by Asagi as she remembered the words of the principality regarding the way to return to her home world.

"I see... that's good to hear" said by Albion as he slowly nod"

As both Albion and Asagi seemed happy and satisfied from something he doesn't understand, Amos couldn't help but frown as he felt like he was being left out in this exchange of information.

With that Albion then happily led them back, as he seemed somewhat glad that everything ended well. As they walked, Asagi then begun to mumble some words under her breath, as she tried to remember the place that her whole kingdom will be visiting next after everything is over is this land of ice and snow.

"The land of scorching sun! The land of scorching sun! The land of scorching sun! The land of scorching sun!..."

*********
[...]

In the deep of the dungeon mountain in the far west from the city of Avalon, a group of demons is currently on a spree as they tried to clear the dangerous dungeon in order to reach its core at the very deepest floor of the dungeon itself.

Ever since the Albino demon had entered the dungeon, a lot of his demons were killed by traps and monsters inside of the dungeon, as he too was nearly caught up and killed in the process. Even though the albino demon doesn't fear death, it was still quite worried that it might fail the mission given to it if ever it was killed.

Because of that, it begun using some of the creatures inside the dungeon as it turned such monster into demons in order to help it from clearing the dungeon itself.... after traversing far and wide, its group is near at the checkpoint of the dungeon, as it begun to grow worried from the ever increasing difficulty in this subjugation.

Before it entered the dungeon, the albino demon had prepared powerful white demon and red demon to assist it in subjugating the dungeon itself, but now all it has left were nothing but newly morphed demons itself.

After checking the massive changes in its forces, the albino demon then grumbled for a bit as it returned to diving into this dangerous dungeon and  traverse further deep into the land itself.
