Chapter 128: The Third Triad Principalities II
[City of Avalon, Central Tower Deepest Floor]
Even though the triad's popularity is not that defined in comparison to the archangels, which caused many people to think that archangels are the top of hierarchy in heaven, it is still a given fact that the principalities is atop of the hierarchy much more than the archangels and posed as leaders in the third trIad group. All in all no matter how much powerful and defined the archangels are, they are still part of the bottom ladder and far from being close to omnipotence.
It is like the comparison of a soldier in comparison to a politician. Even though soldiers are more adept in combat than the politicians itself, the former would still need to listen to the order given by the latter due to the difference of importance between them. A form of hierarchy in power or system established to form an order of things.
In the hierarchy of heaven there are a total of three triads and each triads have a category of angels. The first triad consist of Seraphim, Cherubim, and Thrones in descending order. The second triad consist of Dominions, Virtues, and Power in descending order. Lastly the third triad consist of Principalities, Archangels, and Angels in Descending order. That is how the hierarchy is arranged in the land of paradise of eternal rest.
So upon seeing the very principalities in front of her, Asagi is both shock and taken aback by such a being as she didn't actually believe that such a thing actually exist. After all she is part of the group who thought that archangels are the top of power in the hierarchy of heaven, so this information came into shock for her. But since she already have primary knowledge of their existence due to her being forced to read the bible by her religion teacher, she was not that ignorant of their existence and somewhat was able to cope with the sudden introduction.
"Principalities... i actually cant believe that they actually existed... If some priest were to ever see them, i'm pretty sure that they would go crazy while kneeling down on the floor.... This is... wow just wow""
Seeing Asagi's flustered look, the principalities then spoke out some words as it tried to calm her down and think straight.
"Calm thyself! I understand your surprised perplexion, but i was not sent here to be your center of shock and admiration... the time is ripe, you have greater importance at hand than simply being shocked... ask and you shall receive"
Hearing the principalities words, Asagi immediately understood that she was being urged to answer her question, as she then begun to calm her nerves and agreed at the statement that time shouldn't be wasted like this.
"Alright! i understand that you cant waste your time here right?"
"Indeed! The longer i dwell on the mortal surface, the stronger my existence is being rejected by thy will of the world... a being with pure divinity in in their blood, cant stay in this world... of course the existence such as thyself and thy men are an exception, but the same cant be said to me"
"I see, so basically your on a countdown, alright my first question is, why was i sent here in this world? why me?"
"I believe you received the message on the day thy got transported on this world?"
Hearing the principalities question, Asagi then remembered the game system message she received upon purchasing the kingdom item at a very cheap price. Even thought she totally didn't understand what the message implies due to her being half awake, she then instinctively accepted the message thinking that it was part of the game. But thinking it up to that point, something just doesn't make sense.
"How does that make any sense? Are you telling me that just because i clicked the accept button on some message i thought as the game quest message, i was then transported into this world in a body not my own but my character game avatar?"
"It was never implied that it was a game quest message, it was simply similar to an ad popping up on thy screen... thy mistaken it as a message from the game, thy accepted our proposal... an agreement achieved with consentual from thee, we are not at fault"
Upon hearing that, Asagi for the first time since so long, Asagi flew into rage as she tried to approach the principalities and give her a piece of her mind. After all because of that message, she was brought to this world and left the loved ones she cared about back in her old world. From the day her parents died, her uncle and auntie were the only people she had left to love like a real family, they were her world and she was theirs.
She worked day and night diligently from a strict company just to give the people who raised her as their own child the life of luxury, in place of her parents who were gone, she treated her uncle and auntie who loved her as her own real parents. they had fulfilled their duty and was now her turn to fulfill her ole in the family.
Every night when she goes to bed, she couldn't help but remember her past life, her uncle , her auntie, the people she left behind. They sacrificed everything for her, their old house, stuff, and even their own luxury just to raise her.
They worked day and night for her, her auntie worked as a server in one of the family restaurants in the food district by day and as seamstress by the afternoon. Her uncle worked as a truck driver and carrier in one of the warehouses back in her hometown. She owned everything to them, she owned her life top them, if it weren't for their efforts, she wouldn't have lived the way she is now.
Now that she was gone, she couldn't imagine just how much sorrow she had brought upon them. The idea of the niece they treated as the daughter they never had, died and went missing one day, most likely broke their heart. Not only would such news break them, they would most likely felt like their life was over since she was gone.
She may be fine on the surface, but Asagi is actually soft on the inside, she was literally always at the brink of losing her mind. The depression she had knowing that she left her loved ones behind, the loneliness of being alone on this world, and even the fear of not knowing what would happen tomorrow. All of this was bottled up inside her and now that the person who is connected to her situation was in front of her, she couldn't help but burst out her frustration as she tried her best to get to close to it.
Unfortunately fore some reason, there was a barrier between them as Asagi angrily pounded on it to show her frustration until to the point that her hands begun to turn red.
"Not at fault? Not at fault?!?! NOT AT FAULT!!!! Are you really telling me that you guys are not at fault? you ruined my life!!!! Do you think i would be grateful to you if you just suddenly pick me out from my old world and drop me off on a place i don't even know? I lost my everything! My uncle, my auntie, they were my everything and now you took me away from them... tell me! just how should i see this in a positive light? Tell me!!!"
"Thy were chosen among the many, now you ask why thou? Thy was not chosen through its merit, nor your knowledge and neither your skills, thy was simply chosen by a stoke of luck... you are not special"
"!!!"
"Every choice has it consequence, every action thy make create results, every decision has a cause... thy thought that such message is simply a type of game quest from the game's creator? I call it naivety! ignorance! an impulse demerit on your part... you are the trigger, we are simply its processor"
"Hah! Your really insisting that my transmigration is not your fault? I never asked for this... but i don't think its fair"
"???"
"I was raised in a world where everything i see now is called fictional, a reality that doesn't actually exist... the world i lived in is also riddled with social media, notification is simply a message from the website or admin towards us users... basically whenever we use the net, it is impossible for us to not encounter such message at all, whether it be watching videos or playing a game... so calling it a naivety, ignorance to danger, and impulse is not fair at all.... I wont deny the fact that our actions and decisions in life are made in an impulse, but isn't that what being a human is? we are not perfect... so don't you dare look down on us"
In that sense, the principalities then looked at Asagi's face, as it knocked its head to the side in wonder, while pointing out something.
"You humans have really complicated set of emotions... at one point thou felt loneliness, sadness, anger, and frustration... now that i looked down on your impulse as a being of higher realm, you then filled with the sense of courage, wariness, and impulse to defend humanity... I see thy mood changes based on the topic at hand"
"Don't change the topic, we are not finished yet"
"Ah! now its back to frustration... humans are really complicated creatures"
As the principalities continued to see through the soul of Asagi and it fluctuation of emotion that her soul emits, it then begun to grow curious of human themselves as it is unprecedented for them to witness such a thing in their course of long life. In comparison to humans, the real angels belonging to the paradise don't feel such complicated mood swings. Even though doubt exist at one point in time of their existence, they would soon get over it and continue in their daily routine.
On the other hand Asagi regained her composure, as she backed away from the barrier separating her from the principality, while also mending her hand that was red from pounding the barrier with brute force and no applied protection. The only thing she understood was that she was imply transported into this world on a whim or random selection, she wasn't anything special at all.
The moment she regained her composure, she then remembered the reason why she went to this cold place up north of the world. She wasn't here to complain at all, she wanted to know the purpose of her being transmigrated into this world, after all she did believe that everything has a purpose, if that was the case then she must be here for a reason. She was just simply swept up by the moment.
Taking a couple of deep breaths, she then begun to confront again the principality.
"Sorry about my previous outburst, i was simply swept away by the momentum of my emotions after seeing one of the orchestrator of this situation"
"....."
"I believe you said every choice has it consequence, every action thy make create results, every decision has a cause... which i also believe that everything has a purpose... so tell me why did you bring me here? why am i here? what is my purpose?"
"Purpose... thy purpose in this world is simple... prepare, it is coming... this is not salvation, this is not the end of time, it is too soon for such an event... threat is building up, gather your forces, stand your ground, and fight... that's the only way for you to survive"
"!!!"
"That is all i can tell you, due to restriction casted upon me by a being higher then my own, i can only divulge such simple answer"
Hearing such an answer, Asagi's eyes bulged into surprise as she somewhat shock by her purpose in this world. With such saying, it was like simply asking her to gather her people and go into war, she doesn't even know who her enemies are. Even with such answers, there are many thing on the message that has holes, it was like looking through an incomplete message that was encrypted and translated during the world war back on earth.
Despite that, it was still hard for her to understand her purpose, despite being given to her just like that. But since the being itself is still in front of her, it wouldn't hurt her at all if she continued to ask more questions for clarification.
