[Azure Kingdom]

A few days have passed, it was then that time of the year. The day wherein Asagi is fully preparing for ever since the Christmas event happened, the new years eve. In many countries, New Year's Eve is celebrated with dancing, eating, drinking, and watching or lighting fireworks. Some Christians attend a watch night service. The celebrations generally go on past midnight into New Year's Day, 1 January.

Back on earth many countries, New Year's celebrations begin on the evening of December 31—New Year's Eve—and continue into the early hours of January 1. Revelers often enjoy meals and snacks thought to bestow good luck for the coming year. In Spain and several other Spanish-speaking countries, people bolt down a dozen grapes-symbolizing their hopes for the months ahead-right before midnight. In many parts of the world, traditional New Year's dishes feature legumes, which are thought to resemble coins and herald future financial success; examples include lentils in Italy and black-eyed peas in the southern United States.

Because pigs represent progress and prosperity in some cultures, pork appears on the New Year's Eve table in Cuba, Austria, Hungary, Portugal and other countries. Ring-shaped cakes and pastries, a sign that the year has come full circle, round out the feast in the Netherlands, Mexico, Greece and elsewhere. In Sweden and Norway, meanwhile, rice pudding with an almond hidden inside is served on New Year's Eve; it is said that whoever finds the nut can expect 12 months of good fortune.

Other customs that are common worldwide include watching fireworks and singing songs to welcome the new year, including the ever-popular "Auld Lang Syne" in many English-speaking countries. All of this will naturally appear in the festivities that will happen during the night, it will be one of the busiest time she will ever do ever since she became a queen.

Of course new years history goes way back in time, It is even recorded that the new year festivities originated from the romans. The early Roman calendar consisted of 10 months and 304 days, with each new year beginning at the vernal equinox; according to tradition, it was created by Romulus, the founder of Rome, in the eighth century B.C. A later king, Numa Pompilius, is credited with adding the months of Januarius and Februarius. 

Over the centuries, the calendar fell out of sync with the sun, and in 46 B.C. the emperor Julius Caesar decided to solve the problem by consulting with the most prominent astronomers and mathematicians of his time. He introduced the Julian calendar, which closely resembles the more modern Gregorian calendar that most countries around the world use today.

As part of his reform, Caesar instituted January 1 as the first day of the year, partly to honor the month's namesake: Janus, the Roman god of beginnings, whose two faces allowed him to look back into the past and forward into the future. Romans celebrated by offering sacrifices to Janus, exchanging gifts with one another, decorating their homes with laurel branches and attending raucous parties. 

In medieval Europe, Christian leaders temporarily replaced January 1 as the first of the year with days carrying more religious significance, such as December 25 (the anniversary of Jesus' birth) and March 25 (the Feast of the Annunciation); Pope Gregory XIII reestablished January 1 as New Year's Day in 1582.

So that's the reason why new years eve is so special even back in her old world, since it is a sign or signal for a new beginning. One famous catchphrase for such day is "The beginning after the end" meaning new year's eve is the beginning after the end of the previous year full of challenges. That is the reason why everyone expect new things to happen in the following years in comparison to the previous events.

[Estia Kingdom]

As the kingdom in the sky prepared for such a joyous celebration of welcoming a new year, another major event on the other hand begun to unveil itself in the kingdom of Estia. The moment the sun sets on the horizon, the horn of rebellion arose among the army prepared by the nobles which are against the royalty, as the army prepared begun attacking the royal army and military.

Such huge conflict naturally arose from the events that happened in the passage of days since Asagi went back to her own kingdom and left the matter of quelling the enemy towards the Estia kingdom's royal forces.

After Asagi had left the land of the Estia kingdom, the war of propaganda begun between the anti royalty and the royal faction. In response towards the provocation of the anti-royal army towards the royal family, the whole country itself was then put under the jurisdiction of martial law which literally displeased some individuals and even made it known throughout the kingdom that things were about to get serious.

Through the martial law implemented by the royal family throughout its territory, it then made it hard for the anti- royal faction to use the innocent citizens of the kingdom and incite chaos all over the land. What's worse is that most of the citizens were afraid to even disobey the royal jurisdiction. After all it is stated that once someone disobeyed the royal jurisdiction, such act would then be tantamount to betrayal towards its own nation and shall be sentenced to death.

Since they just experienced a massive death from their aggressors from the empire just recently, Most of the citizens were naturally afraid of dying and weren't ready to put their life in the line just for the sake of the rumors just yet. The event of the national war between two countries and the fear imbedded within it was still fresh within their minds, due to that many followed the royal jurisdiction and ignored the cries of the people who tries to incite chaos.

With the incitation rendered useless, the anti-royal army begun to reach out in a different approach as they cause chaos through violence in the uniform of the royal army's military. Impersonation to be exact. However this approach was quickly relayed towards the royal family's faction, from the spies they planted within the opposing factions side.

With that the royal army was able to catch the anti royal army's action in person which then ended in a fully engaged battle between two sides which resulted to massive deaths.

After that initial new approach ended up in a failure, the anti royal faction then pushed the plan to incite the kingdom of angels to attack the country of Estia with the lives of its citizens on the line. Just as this plan was about to be put into action, a news report came from their side about the recent news of group of people attacking the hideout where they kept the people they had trafficked from the kingdom in the sky

Apparently after careful tracking with Benkei, Leon, and Irish, Amos then successfully found the place where the trafficked people were kept as their group alone took down the whole base. Naturally Amos took out the majority of the forces with his immense firepower, while Leon, Irish, and Benkei took out any people who remains alive after their former emperor's bombardment of his own magic.

In just a matter of an hour, the whole base was taken over as Amos and his group successfully rescued the people that were trafficked out of the kingdom. Once this was done, Amos sent his three personal guards to guide the rescued people back to the kingdom in the sky, as for him, he plans to observe the surface world for a bit longer till then.

Naturally there were oppositions from this order alone, but with Amos stern attitude and charisma, the three guards folded as they followed through his order. Once the guards had left, Amos approached the remaining person who is at deaths door as he  begun to dig deeper into this conflict using his own means of collecting information.

Of course as he did this, one person managed to see through his cover and recognized such person. Amos face was so recognizable as it naturally implanted itself into the minds of every people for the sole reason that he was the perpetrator for the massive deaths in the middle continent. With him being found out that is alive, the person hiding in the shadows that recognized him from afar, then grew pale as he shook all over his body while forcing his feet to move and relay back such important information.

Just like that Amos status and participation was revealed to the anti-royal faction which aggravated everyone who was accomplice to such group. Because of that internal panic erupted among the group as such revelation was spread all over their connection, That just how terrifying the image they had ant the former emperor of Amid Empire.

Due to fear, some people quickly cuts off their connection with the anti-royal faction and somewhat puts all their attention towards Amos possible revival in power. After in comparison to the royal family to the Estia Kingdom, Amos existence itself was a bigger threat which was endangered all the kingdoms in the middle continent about more than half a year ago.

From this it was apparent that such outer threat pose much more danger than the inner threat. If Amos is alive and had the possibility to endanger all three kingdoms once more by gathering his own army to take back his throne, it was much more fruitful if they focus on him than destroying their own country.

However some were skeptical regarding Amos survival. After all only a handful of people knew that Amos was alive while the rest only knew that Amos had died through execution. Because of that some regarded the report as a misunderstanding from the person who relayed such information due to fear. Practically some don't believe that the terror emperor was alive, but they can use such report to stir up the people of the country.

Aside from the anti- royal faction nobles, the citizens of Estia kingdom also fear Amos including the other kingdoms, so if they spread such information, they could pin the blame to the royal family that they had secretly been hiding the real Amos within their side, which would naturally fan the rage and hate of its own people.

If they did that,  another chaos would arise within this country.

Unfortunately at the day that such false news was about to be spread, the royal army then attacked their main base of operation and somewhat had captured some of the nobles who didn't expect such an attack. They don't know how the information regarding their whereabouts was found out, but one thing for sure was that the royal family was able to locate their base through some unknown means.

Unknown to the anti-royal faction, Amos had found out all the information he gathered from the sole person he took captive. Even thought it took quite some effort to dig out such information, Amos was still able to pull it out through the use of one of his treasures. Among his treasure, there are treasure that could control the mind of its target and even forcefully make them tell the truth.

With such treasure coupled with his foresight, he was able to pinpoint the main base and given such information towards the royal family through the use of carrier pigeon. With that the anti-royal faction was caught off guard at the night of new years eve and was taken down after few hours of struggle. The nobles involved were captured, and their whole army and connection were destroyed. The only downside here is that their main leader had practically escape such destruction due to its cautiousness.

Apparently from the information he had dug out, Amos learned that the sole perpetrator for such chaos in the Estia kingdom was the niece of the former duke which was supported by the former dukes daughter that was exiled to the frontier. Basically this was a revenge journey. At this point Amos had no idea where the main perpetrator had escaped to, but he believe that this wont be the end of it.

With such critical information Amos naturally gave out such information towards the royal family of the Estia kingdom for them to handle such situation. After he did such a thing, he then begun to head back to the azure kingdom as he had finished his routine of going out. OF course before he head back, he made it known to Asagi that the problem in Estia kingdom was temporarily done.

With under the moonlight and the show of fireworks display in the night sky, Asagi relished the news of successful subjugation from Amos as she asked him to return before hanging up. Drinking red wine in this beautiful new years scenery, a lot of blood was spilt on another area  for the purpose to retaining the peace that was achieved between all country's in the middle continent.

As if in synchrony to the ending of chaos in another country, Asagi literally heard her own citizens begin their countdown towards new year. Another year, another beginning. The tradition of new years countdown was naturally spread by her angels as all the citizens participated such countdown towards midnight to welcome a new year, due to it being interesting and fun.

"10... 9... 8... 7... 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... happy new year!!!"
