Christmas Eve, back on earth Christmas Eve is the evening or entire day before Christmas Day, the festival commemorating the birth of Jesus. Christmas Day is observed around the world, and Christmas Eve is widely observed as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day. Together, both days are considered one of the most culturally significant celebrations in Christendom and Western society.

Christmas celebrations in the denominations of Western Christianity have long begun on Christmas Eve, due in part to the Christian liturgical day starting at sunset, a practice inherited from Jewish tradition and based on the story of Creation in the Book of Genesis: "And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day." Many churches still ring their church bells and hold prayers in the evening; for example, the Nordic Lutheran churches.

Since tradition holds that Jesus was born at night (based in the earth's bible Luke 2:6-8), Midnight Mass is celebrated on Christmas Eve, traditionally at midnight, in commemoration of his birth. The idea of Jesus being born at night is reflected in the fact that Christmas Eve is referred to as Heilige Nacht (Holy Night) in German, Nochebuena (the Good Night) in Spanish and similarly in other expressions of Christmas spirituality, such as the song "Silent Night, Holy Night".

Many other varying cultural traditions and experiences are also associated with Christmas Eve around the world, including the gathering of family and friends, the singing of Christmas carols, the illumination and enjoyment of Christmas lights, trees, and other decorations, the wrapping, exchange and opening of gifts, and general preparation for Christmas Day. Legendary Christmas gift-bearing figures including Santa Claus, Father Christmas, Christkind, and Saint Nicholas are also often said to depart for their annual journey to deliver presents to children around the world on Christmas Eve, although until the Protestant introduction of Christkind in 16th-century Europe, such figures were said to instead deliver presents on the eve of Saint Nicholas' feast day (6 December).

With Asagi's sudden announcement, her whole capital was naturally busied with the events as the angels prepared the Christmas eve according to how Asagi depicted it on her description. With that notion and the fact that the angels actually work fast, the angels and Gabriel had actually finished decorating the whole capital with Christmas décor that Asagi had prepared for the occasion.

In actuality Asagi only managed to recreate the Christmas balls, bells, and lights  as a decoration for the whole capital, as for the other Christmas décor, they had no choice but to improvise as they go along the way. For example is the Christmas tree, instead of a pine tree whjich is somewhat non-existent in this world, Asagi had no choice but to find a tallest tree within her territory and plant it in the middle of her capital's square.

After that she would decorate the whole tree with Christmas balls and lights, alongside some long golden trail of cloth that spans all over the tree till its top point. Last but not the least is the star on top which is literally made from gold that was crudely carved out by some blacksmith who was just passing by.

But despite this low quality effort of a decoration, as long as the Christmas light was spread all over the capital which is powered by Asagi's constant mana stream and slight light magic to alter the colors, such a sight would be practically merry alongside the pile of snow that had gathered across the capital.

But despite Asagi and her angels extensive preparation, the citizen in her kingdom was still confused on what Christmas eve is and for whom it is actu7al;ly dedicated. With that question laid out, Asagi had no choice but to lie that it was the time when the angels celebrate the birth of their ruler, which is practically the truth but also a lie.

For the reason why its a lie, is because all the citizens thought that it was the birth date of Asagi, after all she is the ruler of this paradise in the skies. and since the angels are under her command, they also thought that all the angels celebrates her life, when in actuality the celebration should be centered towards the true ruler of angels depicted in the bible.

But since the name Jesus is non-existent on this world, Asagi had no way of actually fixing the misunderstanding.

With the misunderstood knowledge of Asagi's coming of age, the whole capital and the village outside its walls, was naturally rejoicing in fervor as they also plan to celebrate the day with their queen. With such false information, such knowledge was pass down towards the other queens and kings of other kingdom which actually came in surprise. After all Asagi had never announced her birthday in their past meeting, so they had no way of preparing for it.

But in order to fully strengthen their bond, the queens and kings who learned of such information, begun ordering their people to prepare their carriage while also preparing the most beautiful gift for Asagi's coming of age celebration. Of course their various visit was unknown to Asagi till the later time.

However this had grown to an even more uncontrollable situation. Not only were the royal families got informed, but even the various nobles were informed and begun their departure at once towards Asagi to honor their relations

Just like that time pass by, till the sun set down and the Christmas décor finally showed their own beauty. The moment the sun disappears in the sky, the Christmas lights then took the stage as they showed their brilliance and mesmerized the crowd. The moment this happened, all the citizens were in awe as they admired the lights, which even made the children glee happily along the streets.

In that moment, the portal begun to shine rapidly as various rulers of their own kingdom and nobles appeared on the teleportation plaza. the moment they stepped foot on Asagi's capital, the once paradise like place, begun to even feel more like a fantasy place that shouldn't even exist in real life.

The whole capital was brimming with brilliance of different color, the décor were simple but captivating to the eyes of many, the white snow falling from the layer of sky above them exudes beauty and mysteriousness, the whole place itself just became even more beautiful since they last visited.

Not only that but even the scale of celebration was something unprecedented to everyone present. in comparison to their grand celebration which only spans around the area near the castle, Asagi's celebration literally involved her whole kingdom.

In that moment Queen Celestia couldn't help but hide her smile behind her white fan.

"Asagi.... You've outdone yourself once more"

Naturally his fiancée also heard his reaction and couldn't help but hand it out towards Asagi, after all even she was captured by the capital's beauty.

Just right behind them the current Emperor Rusch was also admiring the place alongside his own mother who also visited alongside him. The moment he stepped unto this land, Emperor Rusch couldn't  help but relive his memory as a child which literally has no knowledge of the throne. The moment he remembered this memory, he couldn't help but miss them and even envy his step brother who currently loaf in this paradise.

At that Emperor Rusch even thought of devising a plan to actually kill himself in disguise so that he could retreat to this place without the burden of the throne, but he knows that the moment he did such a thing, his elder step brother would literally rise up from the dead and literally kill him for abandoning his duty, in a literal sense.

With the cons out weight the pros, Emperor Rusch simply brushed away his foolish thoughts and walked down the snowy path towards Asagi's Castle.

Moments after the arrival of the guest, Asagi then learned the existence of her visitors as she was surprised on the sudden visit of numerous powerful people in the middle continent. Confused on their presence, she ordered her angels to send them to her castle as they prepare a grand feast for her guest.

Soon after the guest then arrives at her doorsteps which calmly greeted her a warm praise of happy birthday or happy coming of age ceremony. The moment Asagi heard those words, she was first confused on why they thought of such things, before she remembered her lazy reason she had told her citizens for todays celebration.

Most likely some envoys heard her announcement and relay the information towards their superiors, due to that this very important people visited her upfront in order to celebrate her birthday.

Even thought its a misunderstanding, Asagi just couldn't force her visitors to actually leave her territory for the misunderstanding, after all that may come out rude and provoke the opposite party. So instead of making them leave, she just gladly accept their celebratory congratulations and make up a fast unplanned party for everyone to be satisfied.

The whole celebration only consist of dances and eating the prepared food, after that primary activity, various quick make up games were given to the visitors which literally excites everyone present Despite such event being sudden, Asagi was still able to coo0k up a satisfactory activity menu for the guest who to0ok their time to actually celebrate with her.

Surprisingly one of her guest are  the royal family of Estia Kingdom and based on how calm they are around her, she somewhat deliberate whether they know the trafficking incident happening within their territory. Nevertheless after this occasion, Asagi would fully focus on Estia Kingdom and stop this human trafficking's that is happening on her people.

The party lasted till the midnight of the day. the moment the time struck twelve in the midnight, Asagi then pulled out various things she had created in her storage room and had given it towards her guest as presents for their attendance. Of course such a course of event naturally shocked everyone. After all it is basic common sense that the star of the night will mostly recover the present for the celebration and not the other way around.

Because of that they were quite surprised when they received something from Asagi despite  that its not their celebration at all. Nevertheless the attendants gladly accept the gifts and were somewhat surprised on what the presents contains inside.

Each present box contains stuff that Asagi had made during her spare time. Such objects naturally mirrors the product of earth. At first Asagi thought of disposing such fake products to the fire by the end of the year, but with the sudden emergence of guest, she then changed her mind and simply offered them as Christmas present.

Luckily some of the angels were at her beck and call at all times, due to that while the party was underway, she ordered some of her angels to prepare the presents from her storage and out them inside a present box. With such preparations, the act of giving presents on Christmas eve was executed smoothly.

Since the things she had given away resembles the product of earth like the snow globe, pen, jeans, belt, shoes, and other stuff, her guest naturally held such present as something unique and given thought by Asagi

After the giving of presents, Asagi resumed the celebration once more for about another hour before calling it a day. The moment the celebration was over, everyone was so sober up by the wine that was served that it actually made it hard for their escorts' to bring them back to their carriage. With that problem, Asagi then lent the majority of rooms to the guest and waited for them to actually regain back their senses and go back home.

With that the party in Christmas eve ended without a hitch as all the guest were given their own room with the help of Asagi's servants and angels in the castle. Thankfully the castle itself was so large that it can practically accommodate all 80 guest all over the castle. With that the day then ended without a hitch as the Christmas eve ended just like that.
