ROSEWOOD—THE PLACE TE'A hadn't been for almost two years, although here the blonde girl is stepping off the bus looking around her surroundings taking in the small town she calls her home.
A familiar shriek is heard coming from across the road, "T!" Erin shouts waving at the blonde girl.
"Hey Erin." Te'a greets with a happy smile on her face, "God, you've gotten so beautiful!" Erin exclaims bringing Te'a into warm embrace.
"Thank you Erin, but look at you and look at that baby bump of yours, you're glowing!" Te'a voices looking down at her step mother's eight month old belly.
"Let's get you home, your dad's excited to see you." Erin explains, "Okay." Te'a nods exhaling nervously.
Te'a gets into the passenger seat of Erin's vehicle feeling her iPhone vibrate in her jeans back pocket.
WELCOME HOME, QUEEN T.
HERE'S TO THE MADNESS!
— A
Who the fuck is A?
Te'a frowns re-reading the text message with sigh thinking it's just some stupid prank one of the girls are doing on her welcoming her back.
Erin drives the young seventeen year old back to her childhood parking outside the front gate.
"Home sweet home." Te'a hums grabbing her suitcase from the boot of the vehicle and walking into the house being greeted with a massive scent wave of her favourite meal.
"Dad!" Te'a shouts seeing her father coming out from the kitchen to greet his eldest daughter.
"My little tulip!" Riven responds wrapping Te'a in a warm embrace, "I missed you." Te'a whispers into the mans chest.
"I missed you too, T." Riven mumbles smiling at Erin walking into the house from the now dark garage since she parked the vehicle her and Te'a were previously in.
"Riven's been non stop in the kitchen for you today, let's eat!" Erin suggests receiving a nod from the father-daughter duo.
"I invited someone for dinner for you." Riven explains hearing the doorbell ring.
"Oh, who?" Te'a questions with frown after finishing her sip of water.
"That's a surprise." Riven responds walking to the front door greeting their guests and whispering that Te'a in the kitchen along with his wife sipping on their waters.
Te'a looks up hearing heels clashing on the tiled floor, "T-T!" Hanna yells happily startling the blonde girl.
"Hanna-banana!" Te'a exclaims getting up from her seated position running into her best friend's arms.
"I can't believe you're finally back in Rosewood!" Hanna says.
"Yeah, me neither, New York was gorgeous—however I missed my girls, mainly you." Te'a explains taking a seat once again waving at Ashley sitting across from her beside Erin.
"We all missed you so much, but yes, I missed you more." Hanna responds with a wink making Te'a chuckle in response.
The two childhood best friends catch up while eating their meals before rushing upstairs to unpack Te'a suitcase from New York together.
All while Hanna decides to fill Te'a in on what's been happening around town with her getting a boyfriend—someone who isn't Sean.
To the girls being framed for Ali's murder and Jason DiLaurentis returning to Rosewood with the reveal of Spencer being half siblings with the male.
Te'a sucks in a deep breath hearing the man's name after years of being away from him.
"You alright?" Hanna quizzes hearing the change in her friend's breathing.
"Just haven't heard that name for a while, you know?" Te'a responds shrugging.
"Oh, right—you two had a thing before Ali died, didn't you?" Hanna wonders sitting on Te'a neatly made bed.
"You mean we dated for a while and then he started ghosting me out of nowhere? Yeah—oh well, I had someone in New York, that—however didn't work out." Te'a mumbles thinking about the boy in New York.
Before realising she's not thinking about him at all—she's thinking about a certain blonde haired, green eyed older brother of one of her closest friends and their relationship that failed suddenly.
Hanna trails off at the explanation of Emily losing her first girlfriend in a brutal killing.
"How is Em?" Te'a questions folding some of her clothes on her bed beside Hanna.
"She's alright, she gets back into town tomorrow and then all of girls are gonna meet up and talk about our summers, you're coming too!" Hanna states.
"Sounds good, I miss the girls." Te'a responds throwing a skirt at Hanna who gasps in surprise.
"You didn't! Oh my god, T-T!" Hanna exclaims.
"I did, surprise." Te'a responds with a huge smile on her face hearing Hanna's excitement over the skirt she wanted but couldn't get because she wasn't in New York.
Eventually after gossiping for a few hours Hanna leaves Te'a for the night knowing how exhausted the Lowe girl must be knowing she'll see her tomorrow anyways for the hang out with the others at Spencer's house.
The next morning, Te'a awakens to a knock on her bedroom door hearing someone peak their head through quietly in-case she's still sleeping.
"I'm awake." Te'a groggily says alerting the person coming into her room.
"Oh good, just making sure you slept well last night?" Riven—her father curiously asks.
"I slept like baby, it's good to be home, dad." Te'a responds noticing her father standing in his police uniform ready for work.
"That's good, tulip," Riven mumbles, "Off to work?" Te'a questions, "Yeah, with the Reynolds case still open—it's gonna be a busy day." Riven explains taking a seat on the end of his daughter's bed.
"You've got this dad, you're the best cop slash detective in this town." Te'a utters.
"Thanks tulip, have a good day today and I'll see you tomorrow I'm guessing?" Riven inquires hearing Te'a laugh lightly at the suggestion.
"Yeah dad, I'll see you tomorrow, I'm gonna catch up with the girls tonight before school starts up again." Te'a explains.
"Good idea, I love you and be safe, alright? Erin's downstairs if you need her." Riven replies standing up kissing her forehead before walking out of the teenagers room.
Making his way downstairs to farewell his wife and drive to the police station for the long shift ahead of him.

HANNA GREETS ERIN WALKING into the Lowe household up into Te'a bedroom knowing the blonde girl won't mind the sudden arrival of her childhood best friend.
"You ready?" Te'a asks sitting at her vanity doing her skincare.
"Yeah I'm ready and oh my goodness!" Hanna responds taking in Te'a's change in fashion with a wide eyed look.
"What? Is something wrong?" Te'a questions looking down at her outfit.
"Your fashion sense has changed from a few years ago." Hanna realises, "Yeah, New York does that to a girl." Te'a shrugs.
The blonde use to wear dark, tight clothing and always had her hair out or in a tight ponytail with jewellery hanging loosely around her neck and wrists.
Now she's more into fashion—though she still wear tight clothing, it's always bright and uplifting and matches well with her skin-tone and hair colour.
"Let's do this, I wanna see the girls." Te'a exclaims leaving her bedroom grabbing her purse from the kitchen table.
"See ya, Erin! Love you, call me if you need me for anything, please!" Te'a shouts with a demanding tone.
"Bye honey, and I will! Love you!" Erin responds in a shout from the living room where she's resting before having to give birth soon.
"Do the others know I'm coming?" Te'a asks sitting in Hanna's car while her and Hanna are on the way to Spencer's house.
"Yeah, I told them you were back last night!" Hanna states beaming with excitement.
"So Mona was A, huh? Are you girls sure?" Te'a questions remembering last night Hanna filled her in on the whole A—Mona drama and Spencer being kidnapped and attacked just out of town near the Lost Woods Resort.
"I mean, we're getting stupid texts here and there—but nothing extremely threatening, why?" Hanna quizzes seeing Te'a glance down at her phone in her hand biting her lip.
"Hold up, A sent you a text? When?" Hanna shrieks in question panicked.
"Last night—as soon as I got into Erin's car, this text came through." Te'a explains unlocking her phone and showing Hanna the text message she received.
"It's probably just someone trying to mess with you, just like someone's messing with all of us, I mean you were best friends with Ali—a lot more than all of us." Hanna shrugs.
"Yeah, maybe." Te'a responds lowly locking her phone and glancing out the window watching the familiar—but strange town of Rosewood pass her before arriving outside Spencer's house.
Te'a looks over at the DiLaurentis house noticing the front light on most likely awaiting for someone's arrival home.
"T! Come on!" Hanna exclaims from the gate leading into the side of Spencer's house.
"Coming!" Te'a shouts running through the gate walking alongside Hanna as the two of them await for Spencer and the others to answer the back door.
