Prologue-It Begins In Alabasta!
The desert sand was a lot more hotter than usual today. Today was one of those days where the sun beat down on the desert non-stop.
Two ducks were running across the desert plain, who didn't seem to mind the heat so much. Both of them had passengers on their backs. One of them had long blue hair, and a very fancy blue gown. This was Princess Vivi, princess of the Kingdom of Alabasta. She was indeed a beautiful young lady.
On the other duck was a man with a scar near his eye, wearing purple glasses. His clothing consisted of a dark purple jacket, a blue shirt, and black jeans. This was Koza, Vivi's longtime friend, and a warrior at heart.
"Vivi, you were right! Today was such a great day to go riding on the ducks! It seems like the heat hasn't any effect on us." Koza smiled.
Vivi giggled. "Of course, and Karoo is doing a great job speed wise, right?"
The duck Vivi was riding on quacked in agreement.
"Hey did you hear?" Koza said seriously. "The marines are in hot pursuit for a few pirates that have been blowing up villages all around the Grand Line."
"Really? Do you think Igaram needs to update the security?"
Koza scratched his head. "Nothing too seriously, but maybe a bit wouldn't hurt. Can't be too careful."
Vivi sighed. "True. It seems like you can rarely meet nice pirates these days...it's a shame." She closed her eyes and thought of her old friends. What were they doing now...?
"Vivi...pirates choose their own path. If they choose to blow up every town or village they set foot in that's their choice. But that's why the marines are there. To protect the public from harm."
"And so people won't die." Vivi said quietly.
Karoo suddenly quacked loudly and seemed to get very upset.
"What is it, Karoo?" Vivi asked the duck.
Karoo pointed to two figures lying on the desert sand, half buried.
"Koza! Look!" Vivi jumped off of Karoo and ran to the figures.
Koza came over on his duck. "Two males. And by the looks of things, they'll need serious medical attention. Lets bring them to your place, maybe someone can patch them up."
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Vivi sat by one of the males, who was lying in bed. This boy had glasses, which Vivi cleaned, and the clothing on his back, which she replaced with clothes she found lying around the palace. He also had brown hair, and a case attached to his jeans.
This boy seemed to be around Vivi's age, and tall. She was worried for him, would he be okay?
With slight movement, the boy blinked a few times, then fully opened his eyes and sat up.
"Thank goodness you're awake! I was worried!" Vivi said, smiling.
The boy rubbed his eyes. "Er-thanks...where's my glasses? I can't see well right now."
Vivi handed him his glasses, and he put them on and looked at Vivi with a blank stare.
"I owe you one. My name is Brandon, good to meet you...miss...."
"Vivi! Princess Vivi!" Vivi said.
Vivi? THE princess from One Piece?
"Hmm..." Brandon said, scratching his chin. "That's weird...how did that happen?"
A man with bushy hair entered the room. "Good to see you're awake! You really troubled the Princess, you know that?"
Brandon bowed his head. "Forgive me...I'm terribly sorry."
The man smacked Brandon's head. "DON'T APPLOGIZE!!! YOU WERE THE ONE PASSED OUT!!!"
Brandon rubbed his head.
"My name is Igaram. I'm what you would call the "bodyguard" for our Princess."
"Nice to meet you Igaram. I'm Brandon. My friend, wherever he is, is Troy."
Vivi looked at Igaram. "Can you go fetch Koza, please? Along with this boy's friend?"
"I'm not technically a boy, I'm a grown teenager." Brandon commented.
"Right away, Princess." Igaram said. He left.
"You've certainly got some serious wounds on you though. Did something happen?" Vivi asked.
"Nah, just someone jumped me and my buddy. To be honest, it happens more than it used to. But we've got the muscle to back it up." Brandon showed Vivi his ring.
Vivi was surprised. "Such a nice ring! It looks like something holy of some sort! Are you part of a tribe, or something?"
Brandon chuckled and rubbed his head. "You could say that...I passed a trial, and this was my reward. I'm technically a heavenly knight of some sorts."
Vivi was shocked. "Someone like you here...my goodness, how did you end up here?"
Brandon laughed. "It's a long story."
Vivi smiled again. "I don't have anything else to do. Tell me of your adventures."
"Okay, sure."
"Hey...before you start...do you own this?" Vivi handed him a sword.
It was a very well crafted sword. In the centre where the handle of the blade split to the actual blade was a blue sapphire. The metal was very high quality and it looked like a sword that professional swordsmen would have.
"This? I don't recall it being mine...all I had was my card case, my clothes, and Brief's...pendant..." Brandon cut himself off.
He searched his clothing. The pendant wasn't there. The sword's sapphire looked the exact same colour as the pendant he had. Could it be...?
"Actually, it is mine. Silly me." Brandon said. What an odd turn of events. Did his pendant...transform into a sword?
"Why don't you have a case for it? If you don't have one, I can get someone to make it for you." Vivi said.
"That would be amazing, thank you." Brandon smiled at Vivi.
But some questions were still unanswered. The pendant was a sword? He was in One Piece? What was happening?
