MUSIC MEANS the world to Kinsley Scott. She grew up in a musical family, always being around music. Each member of her family played an instrument. She played acoustic guitar, her older brother played the drums, her mom played the piano and her dad played the electric guitar. In fact, herself and her family members play other instruments as well but those instruments are what they're really best at. The family even had a music room with different instruments and sound proofs walls.

Things changed for the close-knit family when Karter died. When Kinsley's dad died, her love of music went with him. He was the one who introduced her to music. He taught her how to play guitar, he sang with her to the radio on the way to school and on the way home. And even whenever there was a family gathering they would always sing a song together. But now that he was gone, she didn't see the point of doing anything with music. It hurt too much. Just listening to music reminded her of him and it brought her to tears. She didn't go in the music room and she didn't sing for a year after her dad's death. It wasn't until her mom and older brother helped bring her love of music back, little by little each day and she will be forever grateful for them for doing that.

Kinsley always wanted to be a famous musician. She loved watching the X Factor, dreaming that one day she could be on it and perhaps become a musician because of the show. Her anxiety and insecurities always stopper her from trying to audition. That was until her older brother, Griffin and her mom, Lorelai, signed her up to audition without her knowing. She was beyond shocked they did that and upset they did that behind her back, but she will forever be thankful for them doing that because without them forcing her to audition she wouldn't have met her five best friends that she formed a band with and her music career wouldn't be where it is today.

As the years go by the band members of the popular band One Direction all went their separate ways. Some stayed in touch while others lost contact with each other. Kinsley and Niall were one of the ones who stayed in touch. Kinsley was close with each of the boys, but the bond she had with Niall was different. Everyone could see how in love they were with each other but themselves. Kinsley loves The Voice. Besides the X Factor, The Voice was her favorite singing reality competition show. She has watched it for basically her whole life, it was a tradition for her family to sit down in the living room after dinner and watch the show.

After finding out that her old bandmate and childhood best friend was a new coach, she knew it was a perfect time to audition. Being on the show, Kinsley never t find out that Niall's recent song 'Heaven' was written about her.
