Goodbye Brother. I'll miss you.

Mattie's POV:
I am trying as hard as I can to keep up with his flying, I really am. I wanted to get to heaven as fast as possible to see Alfred, but my dam broken wing hurts like hell every time I try to use it. As I flutter along with one wing, the demon next to me notices my struggle and without any words, he flings me onto his back.

I squirm around a bit and try to get off but he holds me firmly in place so I decide the best thing to do is give up and admire the scenery for the last time.

"S-so what should I-I call y-you?" I ask, my voice stuttering weakly.

He gives a grunt before answering, "Prussia. You will call me Prussia unless I tell you otherwise."

"O-okay." I sigh and go back to gazing at the world around me.

After what seems like hours, the golden gates are above us with a swirling upward vortex of clouds.

Prussia flys towards them at a seemingly alarming rate of which I feel my breath being swiftly stolen away from me. He plunges through the vortex with ease, his wide wingspan slicing through some of the surrounding clouds.

He softly lands right in the centre of the square, lowering himself gently to about 10cm off the ground and then dropping the rest of the way. His wings are a might night black colour with tough scales, more like a dragon's than an angel's.

He drops me to the ground harshly and I lie down for a second, wheezing in pain, before he pulls me up by the back of my hoodie and drags me along the silver-bricked path.

The many angels flying about, doing their every day thing simply stop, as if they have been paralysed with the Demon King's toxic red eyes. I am watched as he continues to pulls me along to the main meeting area.

We soon reach the palace-like building. Prussia pauses for a split second, before lifting his boot and sending a powerful kick forwards into the door. He then struts in, searching for any type of higher-up Angel. The hall is completely silent which is abnormal, even in this time of war.

I hear a shout that calls from above, "FIRE!"

Suddenly, a million tiny pieces of molten celestial bronze and imperial gold shards are fired rapidly from machine guns, aiming straight towards me! I try to duck down, but the demon king grips me harder. For a second I wonder why I'm feeling no pain, then I realise the red haze that is glazing across the Demon King's eyes.

At the very last second he must of installed a force-field like aura, strong enough to to protect himself and I.

"Shooting at one of your own?! That is so not awesome! I was GOING to negotiate with you about the end of my demons attacking your place in exchange for something I want, but I guess you mustn't be interested. Oh well, I'll just take what I want without your consent then." He smirks. He beings to walk out the door, dragging me with him against my now very weak efforts.

"HALT!" The firing stops for a second and the Demon King whips his head round, a bored expression hanging lightly on his face, a loose, lazy posture.

"What?" He says, his tone just as bored sounding as his expression.

Gilbert's POV:
"What?" I ask, my voice giving no indication to my slight fear. I could so easily be overwhelmed if these angels weren't so dumb and scared.

I stare lazily around the room. It's still early and believe me when I say I wanted a lie in this morning. Hahaha. As if that ever happens. I sigh as I hear mumbling going on around me. One lone person steps forwards and begins to speak.

"Demon King or Prussia. Just what are you thinking of bartering with in your little 'deal'?" He asks formally.

I feel my eyes drift downwards towards the cute little angel within my grasp. Mattie is looking down, slouching and breathing heavily, not to mention his wing is twisted in an unnaturally odd angle... But he is absolutely perfect. His face is chiselled with soft curves and his hair is is an almost platinum blonde colour, drifting down in wavy locks like fluffy clouds. His eyes are Lilac in colour and have a soft, comforting look to them, but I can tell there is a fire ready to blaze behind his soft initial gaze. His skin is pale, much like a ghost's. His nose is absolutely adorable in a little way and he has a cute curl stubbornly sticking out from his mop of blonde hair. He is completely adorable and I knew the second I laid eyes on him that I had to have him, that he had to be mine.

"I would like to take this little one with me. He stole something important and he needs to pay for it." I say, pointing towards the little fluff ball below me. His eyes suddenly widen in what I presume is sadness and fear. I smile brightly to the angel talking to me, trying to mask the slight pain I feel for hurting him.

"And why would we trade one of our own?" He asks again.

"So that I call off the demons that keep hunting down your angels! Wouldn't that be awesome? One angel for so many other's lives?" The guy in front of me ponders for a few minutes, deciding what to do.

"No." I hear whisper just below me. "Please gods no. Alfred." He continues.

Mattie's POV:
"Please gods no. Alfred." I whisper as quietly as possible underneath my breath. I have to get to him quickly. He could be dying right now! I stand up and twist out of the Demon King's grasp before charging towards the hospital.

"I'll give you a few minutes to think about it-" is all I hear as I keep running the short distance towards the hospital. I crash through the door and run towards a nurse.

"Can *pant* you tell me *pant* where Alfred F *pant* Jones is please?" I say, it comes our in my usual small voice.

"Ten doors down on the left dearie. Can I have that flower?" She asks with a sweet smile plastered across her face. I hand her the flower and see her rush off somewhere before I dash off again, hearing footsteps follow me.

I pause a second at his door, mentally preparing myself as much as possible for what I may see, before I push open the door. "A-Alfred?" I call out. Alfred is on a plain white hospital bed with the covers neatly folded across his body. His skin is white but other than that he looks as if he is merely sleeping.

I choke up as I walk towards his bedside, "Oh Al-" My eyes tear up and I openly weep whilst sitting on a chair next to my brother's bed, mindlessly messing with his messy golden locks and crying my eyes out. I take off my glasses, slowly placing them on the table next to Al's.

I suddenly hear someone cough on the other side of the room.

Whipping my head round I almost get whiplash as I try to focus on the outline of their body. "Sorry to interrupt, but how much longer?" Asks a whiny voice. I cringe in reminder that I will have to live in hell soon. I already know what the higher-up Angels think. I know I won't be staying here for much longer.

Without missing a beat I reply, "Not until he wakes up." My voice is harsher than usual.

I lie my head back down as I can tell Prussia is thinking it over. I don't care. I won't leave him. I won't leave my brother until I know for sure he will be okay. Until I can say I love him.

"Fine. But I'm staying with you at all times. Plus," he grins at me cheekily, "i've always wanted to sightsee heaven."
