"Raise the bars!"
Amanda Waller yelled out over the sound of music, to the guards. They did what they were told. Edwards stepped forward to make sure Annabelle was in her circled room and there she was. She's been in that room for the last ten years.

Griggs smirked at the angel swaying slowly with her music. Edwards smiled and bent down next to the red headed angel. "Anna, babe?" The music cut off and Annabelle snapped her bright green eyes open. She was pissed that they shut her music off without finishing it first.

"Turn it back on." Annabelles voice sounded strained and angry. Edwards sighed and nod to the guy to turn it back on. Annabelle smiled at Edwards and he pushed her bright, red hair out of her face. She closed her eyes loving the feeling of his touch on her.

Amanda was getting impatient with the fact that the song was still on. Griggs sighed out loud making Annabelle glare at him. Griggs gaze soon turned to her and he stood back a little, making his grip on his gun tighter.

The last encounter he had with her, well let's just say she almost killed him for touching her music. Even if she was trapped in her circle, she could make her power reach out further then her body. L

Once the music was over, Edwards grabbed Annabelle's hands and pulled her up. She stood and looked up to see Amanda staring at her. Annabelle smirked at her. Edwards saw this and blocked her sight of Amanda.

"Anna. She's going to want to make a deal. Can you do this without the need to snap her neck?" His voice snapping her out of her memories of being dragged into her own prison.

"Grant," He looked up at her. " I got this." She smiled lightly at him and he nod his head kissing her forehead. Then he turned around to Amanda and he sighed. He knew she was going to be a smart ass like she always has been. "So it seems that the queen bitch is here once again. What do you want?" Annabelle snapped.

Amanda was a but surprised that she was brave enough to say that to her. Amanda knew she was going to be angry at her for experimenting on the angel and then locking her up like a bird.

"It seems, you have been locked up here for a long time. I don't think you remember that I have the authority to blow your head off." Amanda said with a blank expression.

Annabelle chuckled and tried to step forward, but the invisible barrier had stopped her. She frowned and looked at Grant. He gave her a small smile.

Then he stepped closer to her pulling her close to him. "Just listen to her. She can make your sentence shorter. Then when you get out well go somewhere far away." He kissed her lips softly and she smiled, knowing that he truly did love her.

Then Edwards pulled away from Annabelle and looked at Amanda. "Alright," Annabelle started. "What do you want me to do?" She asked confidently. Amanda smirked knowing this was going to be easy.

"I'm creating a team of bad guys. Bad guys just like you-" Annabelle glared at her as she called her a bad guy. Amandas smirk widened. "This team is called Task force X. I want you to be apart of it." Annabelle thought about it. She was going to say no when Amanda sighed and said, "You can have your wings and weapons back." Annabelle snapped her gaze from the floor to Amanda.

"I'm in." Was all she said. Grant was surprised, but he knew how much she needed those wings. She would tell him how fun it was to fly and feel free. So her saying yes right away was not to surprising. "Who else is in this group?" Annabelle asked her and all she did was smile at her.

"You'll find out when the time comes. For now, you stay here until the time for you all to be called to action." Amanda said and she walked off. Grant sighed in relief that she moved out of there before Annabelle could rip her head off. She was angry and the fact her music was shut off mid song didn't help.

Annabelle turned to look at Grant and she smiled. Grant knew that smile, it was the 'I'm going to be free' smile. He knew her all to well, but he also knew that she was going to listen to the rules to keep him happy. She would do anything for Grant and he knew that. It was almost scary for him to think she would die for him. Even if he was a Queen and could take care of himself, she needed him. Queens had a lot of history. One of them being the Arrow.

"What are you thinking about angel?" Grant asked her and she turned her attention to the now leaving guards. She smirked and tried to move closer to Grant but she couldn't because of the angel's trap. She frowned looking down at it, now glaring. "Here." He stepped inside her room and she smiled brightly.

"I missed you. You were gone for a while again." He frowned at her words. He didn't like to leave her by herself. She would get violent and won't eat the food someone brought her besides Grant. She was stubborn and he was trying his best to teach her not to be.

But when he leaves her they both felt empty. Annabelle listens to her music and let's it blare through her room and sometimes others hear it. But Grant just wanted to get her out of there. Yes she killed thousands of people, but to him she was lost and scared. She didn't know what she was doing.

Though Annabelle knew exactly what she had done to those people. She said they were evil. Most cases they were. Most were robbers, killers, abusers, people who were bad. So when Amanda called her a bad person, she got defensive. Annabelle didn't want to associate herself with those people.

So now she can fix her life and live with Grant, as long as she plays by the rules and does what she's supposed to. That's excatly what she is going to do. Just for Grant and nobody else.
