Chapter Two: Problems

"Dear Diary. It's been three weeks since I've become friends with the Socs. Well, friends is an exaggeration. It's more like the Socs are the people I work with. Our job is to be popular and stuff." Dewott chuckled softly to herself as she closed her diary, the bell ringing. "Hey Dewott! You really do look beautiful these days." Violet said, smiling and holding a tray tightly. "Awe thanks but it's still the same me underneath all this." Dewott smiled and turned to her.

"Are you sure?" Violet said, looking down sadly. "Hey, look, I'm sorry about missing movie night last week. I was busy and-" "I get it. You're with the Socs now. That's really great." Violet forced a smile, causing Dewott to frown. She opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted. "Dewott! Chris says to haul ass over to the table, now!" Amelia said, grabbing Dewott's arm and dragging her over before she had a chance to say goodbye to Violet.

"Dewott, I need a forgery in Jay Smithson's handwriting. You'll need something to write on. Amelia bend over!" Chris said, crossing his arms. Dewott looked at him in confusion since there was a table right there but didn't question it, going over to Amelia and placing her open diary on Amelia's back.

"Hello sweetie. I've been watching you from a distance and thinking about us in the old days. I hope you can come to my homecoming party. Ram~." Chris said, looking over as Dewott copied what he said. "Oh, and put an XO at the end." Chris said, smirking. "What is this for anyways?" Dewott asked, moving her diary so Amelia could stand and taking the note out.

"I just found out Ram used to be friends with Violet Froze." Chris said in a disgusted tone. "Yeah in kindergarten. We all were." Dewott said as Chris took the note. "Not all of us kissed her on the kickball field." Amelia said in a "you should've known" tone. "Oh yeah I remember that! Jay kissed Violet Froze! It was disgusting." Willow said in a fake cheerful tone as she tried not to laugh. Dewott frowned as Chris read the note. "Perfect."

"It would be so righteous to be in the middle of a Chris Uragirimono, Dewott Ura sandwich..." Dewott heard Zach say, looking over two see the two boys heading towards their table next to the one she was sitting at. "Hell yeah, punch it in!" Jay chuckled and the two fist bumped. "Ram!" Chris called, motioning him to come over.

The two boys walked over as Chris stood and held out the note. "Be a sweetie and give this note to Violet Froze." "What, no!" Dewott exclaimed, but was ignored. "Since when do you talk to that lard-ass?" Jay asked, going to open it. "Don't read it!" Chris exclaimed, causing Jay to look at him in confusion. "She's having an extra heavy flow and wanted some advice from my dino." Amelia said, earning a look from Chris.

"Ew, gross!" Jay exclaimed as Dewott snatched the note out of his hand rather quickly. "No, don't do this. Not to Violet." Dewott said, holding the note tightly as the two boys sat at their table. "Why not? It will give her shower nozzle masturbation for weeks." Amelia smirked. "Shut up, Amelia!" Chris growled. "Sorry, Chris!" Amelia shrank down. Dewott turned to Chris and stood to try and match his height.

"Look, Violet has had a thing for Jay for 12 years now. This... this would kill her." Dewott said only for Chris to grab her shirt and pull her close. "Are we gonna have a problem? You got a bone to pick? You've come so far, why now are you pulling on my dick?" Chris let go of her, Dewott blushing slightly at that thought but quickly shaking it off. "I'd normally slap your face off, and everyone here could watch. But I'm feeling nice. Here's some advice. Listen up, biotch!"

Dewott backed up as the other two joined Chris and they backed her into a wall. "I like!" "Lookin' hot buying stuff they cannot." Chris plucked the note out of her hands and gave it to Amelia. "I like!" "Drinking hard. Maxin' dad's credit card." Chris smirked. "I like!" "Skippin' gym. Screwing her, scaring him." Chris pointed to the people he was talking about. "I like!" "Killer clothes," Chris backed up with the other two. "Kickin' nerds in the nose!" They sang, the girls kicking the air.

"If you lack the balls, you can go play dolls. Let your mommy fix you a snack." Chris moved her arms around as if she was a doll. "Woah!" "Or you could come smoke. Pound some rum and coke. In my Porsche with the quarterback." Chris put an arm around her and forced her to look at Zach, putting an unlit cigarette in her mouth. Dewott immediately spit it out and pulled away from him, heading to leave only to have Amelia and Willow back her into him. "Woah! Woah! Woah!"

"Honey whatchu waitin' for? Welcome to my candy store. Time for you prove you're not a loser anymore." The three made an L with their fingers and held them to their foreheads. "Then step into my candy store." "Guys fall." Chris and Willow sang. "At your feet. Pay the check." Amelia forced her onto her hands and knees. "Help you cheat." Willow helped her up. "All you." "Have to do." Amelia smirked and shoved her onto Chris. "Say goodbye to Shamu." Chris smirked and grabbed her shoulders.

"That freak's," "Not your friend. I can tell in the end." Willow closed her eyes and held her hands up. "If she," "Had your shot." Amelia poked her chest. "She would leave you to rot." "'Course if you don't care, fine! Go braid her hair. Maybe Sesame Street is on." Willow twirled a piece of Dewott's hair around her finger. "Woah!" "Or forget that creep." Willow pointed at Violet. "And get in my jeep." Amelia twirled keys on her finger.

"Let's go tear up someone's lawn." Chris pushed her away as the three closed in on her. "Woah! Woah! Woah! Honey whatchu waitin' for? Welcome to my candy store! You just gotta prove your not a pussy anymore." Chris stuck his tongue between two of his fingers, causing Dewott to blush. "Then step into my candy store." Chris pointed at Violet and Amelia gave her the note then headed back over.

"You can join the team." Chris put an arm around her and motioned in front of them at Willow and Amelia. "Or you can bitch and moan." The girls pretended to rub their eyes. "You can live the dream." Chris waved his hand, making an arch in front of them. "Or you can die alone." The girls dragged their pointer finger across their necks. "You can fly with eagles." Chris grabbed her wrists and held her arms out. "Or if you prefer." The girls crossed their arms.

"Keep on testing me." Chris let go of her and moved in front of her. "And end up like her!" They pointed to Violet, who was coming over. She had tears in her eyes and was clutching the note, a bright smile on her face. "Dewott, look! Jay invited me to his homecoming party. This proves he's been thinking about me." Dewott looked at the others. Chris smirked and motioned her to say something. Dewott looked back at Violet slowly. "Color me stoked!" "I'm so happy!" Violet exclaimed, tears falling down her cheeks as she ran off, happy.

Dewott tried to go after her but Chris grabbed her shoulders and the other two blocked her path. "Woah!" "Honey whatchu waiting fo-..." Amelia sang but was pushed down by Chris. "Shut up Amelia! Step into my candy store!" "Time for you to prove your not a lame ass anymore!" Willow and Amelia sang, Willow helping her up. "Then step into my candy store!"

The three walked towards her, causing her to back up, going through the doors into the hallway, bumping into the lockers. "It's my candy store, it's my candy! It's my candy store, it's my candy! It's my candy store, it's my candy stoooreee!"

The three smirked as Dewott quickly got away from them. "You shouldn't have bowed down to the swatch dog and diet coke heads." A male voice said. Dewott looked for the source and found a boy sitting against a locker, reading a book. He had shoulder length reddish hair, green eyes, a grey shirt, black trench coat, black pants, and sneakers. He stood and closed the book.

"Punch that boy." He said. "I'm sorry what?" Dewott asked, startled, looking up at him. "Clearly, you've got a soul. You just have to work harder on keeping it clean. We're all born marked for equal." He said, walking away. Dewott followed him. "Um, ok. Don't just insult me and walk away. Excuse me." He stopped and turned to face her. "I didn't catch your name." Dewott said softly. "I didn't throw it." He smirked.

He walked away again. "Who's that guy in the jacket think he is anyways?" Zach's voice echoed. "Dewott's into his ass no doubt." Jay said, shoving his hands in his jacket pockets. "Let's kick his ass!" Zach exclaimed. "Whoa dude, we're seniors. We're too old for that shit." Jay said, nudging his arm. Zach ignored him and walked over to the boy, stopping him in his tracks.

"Hey sweetheart! What'd your boyfriend say when you told him you were moving to Sherwood, Ohioooo." Zach wrapped an arm around him. "My buddy Zach just asked you a question." Jay said, hitting his head rather hard. "Hey Jay, doesn't the cafeteria have a no f*gs allowed policy?" Zach looked at him. The boy closed his book with a thud. "They seem to have an open door policy for assholes." He said, looking over at Zach with a smirk. Zach glared at him. "Hold his arms."
