Chapter: 13

Conri was in a rage as he sped down the part which leads to Darevil. He was angry as he rushed through the woods, the sound of his breath echoing in his ears, the wind whipping around him like an angry ghost, as it blew his long dark hair into a wild mess, like a dark tornado. A wind that came from nowhere, a sudden wind that was not supposed to be there. Brushed past his furs and it prickled sharply as if he had just suffered a first-degree burn but in his furry, he didn't take notice of it. His footsteps were amplified by the heavy foliage and it filled the air with a deep roar. Conri's anger had not eased since he heard the news the Werewolf brought before them but now it became all-encompassing and overwhelming. It swelled up from his chest like some invisible monster ready to burst out through him.
He could feel himself going over the edge, he could feel his blood boiling with his Lycan. The wind pushed against him harshly making him feel dizzy from brushing against his eyes, they teared up but he blinked once and drove on, his speed increasing, claws digging into the roots of mother earth as he ran. The wind picked up in strength, it was too much for him and he found himself crashing into the trees face first. He rolled across the ground, coming up from it with a growl. He couldn't understand why he felt so weak that morning. He could barely move his limbs to get out of bed and he made sure to take his potions but now it seems his strength was starting to fail him. This weird feeling was starting to become more pronounced and it felt like it was consuming him at his very core. He felt that if he doesn't shift back soon this will overtake him completely. But why?
["I think something bad is happening to us,"] Rafa spoke and Conri frowned. ["You can't fight off a pack of Rogues without me, so try to stay strong, until we have settled with the Rogues then we can find out why we feel like we are dying!"] He finished with a stern voice.
"Fine," Conri grumbled as he stood up, ignoring the pain that shot through his whole body. With every step he took, he felt like he would break into pieces. Like his bones were being eaten away by some unknown force. As if his body was being consumed by darkness, a shadow. As he turned towards the direction of Darevil, he could feel the wind pushing against him and howling. The shadows seemed to be getting darker and seemed to be following him. Conri could almost swear that he was losing his sight. There wasn't enough light to see. He is the Alpha of Alphas and whoever thinks they can shake him loose with whatever dark magic they deemed to have cooked up against him. He hoped for their sake that they are aware of the dance they had set and by the Goddess, he will make them suffer for doing this to him. They can have fun trying to defeat the most feared Lycan in the land. But Conri knows that if they thought they could scare him then they must have been insane. His anger is boiling his blood and his fur stands up on end, the fire inside him wanting nothing but to run free and tear apart. He wanted to rip throats out with his bare hands. He could see Darevil from where he stood, Rogues, filling around the giant Gate like they were preparing for a feast.
Rafa crawled to the surface and the Alpha of Alpha stood on his feet. His tail lashed back and forth. He could feel the energy that coursed through his veins. Heat built up within him, the flames licking at his skin. ["NOW!"] He said in a calm and collected manner and Conri cracked a smirk and sprinted forward. His fur bristled with each step he took. His body was burning alive and he was ready to show the Rogues what a real Alpha of Alpha can do when he is angry. He let out a loud yowl. A feral howl to announce his presence, to say 'we are here', and to make the Rogues tremble in fear. The Rogues, sensing his presence, began to look around the clearing for him but none was able to see the Lycan. All they saw were flashes of light and then limbs, hearts, and heads flying everywhere. The wolves cried out in agony as they tried to protect themselves, only to fail miserably as they were torn limb by limb. Blood splattered everywhere in the clearing as it soaked the earth red, and within seconds Rafa had wiped clean fifty Rogues, breaking into their Pack but it appeared deserted, their Leader must have sent the Weak ones away but no matter, he could sense his presence, he was waiting in his Hall.
Rafa broke through the doors, his black fur stained red, blood dripping down on the floorboards. He walked along the hall. He could still smell the blood that lingered in the air and his fangs glinted when he smiled upon seeing the Rogue king sitting calmly on his throne. The Rogue looked amused as Conri approached, he chuckled to himself. "Well, well, well Alpha Conri. I was expecting you but not so soon. What brings you to my Hall?" He asked, looking like he was enjoying this.
Conri narrowed his now golden eyes and glared at him in reply. "I have come to collect the debt you owe me," He snarled, voice low and dangerous. His eyes burned like twin torches as he looked at Dare, baring his fangs at the Rogue who seemed unperturbed by the threat the Lycan posed.
Dare chuckled and scratched his head. "My dear Alpha, I am afraid I don't remember owing debts to you." He replied while giving a cocky grin.
"Don't get smart with me, Dare, you know exactly what you have done!" Conri roared and jumped forward, slashing at the Rogue's throat with one claw. Dare didn't dodge the attack, instead, he grabbed the arm that was raised towards him and flipped the Alpha onto the ground. The Alpha's face slammed into the floor, the impact causing Conri's nose to crack, and he hissed not from pain but from confusion as he felt that weakness from before, returning to his body.
This time with a wicked vengeance.
Dare held him pinned to the ground as he fully shifted into his Devil Black wolf, his wound healing almost instantly. "You aroused me, Alpha," He breathed into Conri's ear, his tongue stretched and he licked the Alpha's nape. The Lycan growled, using all his strength to throw the Rogue off his back. He got up on his feet, his body feeling stronger than ever, as he watched the Rogue shift into his human form, laughing.
"So eager-" He laughed. "-To be rid of your lover?" Dare asked, smirking at the Lycan and placing his hand on his waist.
"You are not my lover!" Conri snapped, the words tasting bitter.
"You hurt me, Rafa," Deivl, Dare's Rogue wolf mocked and Rafa growled. "Why does it bother you so much, huh?" He charged, glaring at the Lycan.
"My Mate is a Weretiger and you had no right to attack their Clan, no right!" Rafa roared.
"Your Mate? Please, don't make me laugh, I heard you Rejected him, and worse, you killed him, pathetic..." Deivl taunted. "Weren't you going to do what I helped you to do? I eradicated the Tiger Clan you wanted to rid yourself of since their arrival and you dare come into my PackLand, killed my Rogues, and charge me in a fight!"
"Whatever I chose to do had nothing to do with you, Dare, you should have known your place and stuck to it!" Rafa charged the Rogue once again but that damn wind came bursting through the open windows, carrying the shadowy darkness with it, Rafa wasn't prepared for it as it jammed straight into his body in full force bringing the Alpha of Alphas to his knees and the Rogue king took the opportunity to launch his attack on the fallen Lycan. Conri managed to hold his own against the Rogue king but he could hear the sounds of bone snapping, the sound ringing loudly in his ears, they made him grimace and he could feel a headache coming from it. He couldn't hear anything anymore, his ears were ringing, his vision blurred, and he stumbled backward. He crashed to the ground, landing on top of his injured leg. The Rogue king lunged at him and he pushed him off with all his might. Dare landed on his side, grunting with pain, but he quickly recovered, turning to face Conri. He snarled at the Lycan and rushed toward him. Conri tried to stand up, his legs quaking beneath him. He looked at his leg, blood pooling out from the injury that had opened up. The Rogue King pounced at him and tackled him to the ground, his claws sinking into his shoulders, digging deep into the flesh and drawing out blood.
Conri roared in pain.
He tried to grab Dare but the Rogue king dodged and bit his forearm. Conri growled, pulling Dare off of him and throwing him across the room and into the wall. He was about to chase after him when he felt the ground shake under his feet, the walls shook slightly. He wasn't healing as he should, in fact, he wasn't healing at all and it seemed as though all the Elements he controlled were against him.
Dare laughed, the sound of his laughter grating against Conri's ears. The Alpha's head shot up and stared at him in horror.
["We've been bewitched by dark magic, Conri"] Rafa panted to his Half. ["I am slipping away from us, My Half"] Conri felt his eyes stink at the weakness in his Lycan's voice.
Dare snorted. "You should see you right now, Rafa, the Alpha of Alphas, I am this close to feeling sorry for you," Dare said mockingly. "But I won't because I know I would win this fight," Dare charged at the Alpha again, tackling him to the ground and pinning him there, biting harshly at the neck of the Alpha. The pain he felt when he bit down on him was unbearable, his teeth dug deep into his neck and he could feel the blood flowing freely down his fur. As he pulled back to breathe and to suck out the blood, he gave his prey a savage kick to the stomach. The Alpha groaned in pain. "I wonder what will happen to you," Dare continued, as he rose from his position over the Alpha, he stood up. "No, I do not wonder, you will die here today, and I won't see your face in two hundred years," Dare snarled, the Alpha trying to rise to his feet but his wounds prevented him from doing so. "Extend my greetings to the Goddess, tell her you lived a great life but died a pathetic death." Dare added before charging at the Alpha, ripping his throat out.

Meanwhile, the Betas had combed the Town four times and none knew where their Alpha went, an Omega said she served him his potion that morning and he didn't seem like one who intended to go out but when his Betas came in search of him to discuss what they needed to do against the Rogue attack on the Tiger Clan, he was nowhere to be found.
"I think he went to Darevil," Dom said, confused after their fourth search. "There is no better explanation for his sudden disappearance," He finished and the others nodded in agreement.
"Well, then let's go!" Colleen ordered and shifted mid-air landing on his feet. They followed suit, taking a shortcut to Darevil, the wind swirling around them. When they arrived, they spotted the many dismembered bodies littered across the streets and houses, it was a gruesome sight that made their hearts ache, and yet they couldn't stop themselves from stepping through the blood-spilled streets. Upon seeing the gruesome scene they knew without a doubt that their Alpha was indeed there. As they crossed the Gates their nose flared when they got a whiff of their Alpha's blood, this had all six Beta charging toward the Hall where the blood seemed most eminent.
It was strange but they all knew it.
They could feel it.
Their Alpha was dying!
They burst into the Hall at the same time Dare was about to rip the Alpha's throat from his head, and he immediately shifted and fled from the scene before they entered the Hall. He knew they would kill him should they see him on their Alpha.
When Betas got inside the Hall, the scent of fresh blood surrounded them, making their heads spin as the overwhelming odor filled their nostrils, and the Betas' bloodlust kicked in once again. The sight before them was just beyond shocking to them, their Alpha lay on the floor, blood covering the floor from his head to his bare chest. He seemed unconscious but still breathing. The Alpha looked like a bloody mess, his clothes shredded, his skin torn apart, and blood pouring from multiple wounds littering his body. His entire right leg was broken and mangled horribly, a gaping hole in his throat.
Whoever did this to him wanted him dead but what was most baffling to them was how it was possible that the Alpha of Alpha could be so badly defeated.
It didn't seem right.
Two of the Betas went in search of any Rogue who could be responsible for this while the other four rushed over to the side of their Alpha. They didn't even know where to begin to touch him, he seemed to have cuts and wounds everywhere but they had to get him up and get him home.
No one wolf should be able to cause this much damage on the Alpha of Alphas, something was amiss, the Lycan barely felt pain, when he is injured it heals so fast that the Lycan wouldn't even notice he was bruised but here he was, laying in the pool of his own blood, grunting in agony. It was too much, it broke their hearts to even look at the Alpha, they didn't want to believe it. If they hadn't seen their Alpha like this, they would have thought it was a trick.
"Alpha!" One of the Beta yelled as they tried to lift him off the ground.
"Careful with him," Dom warned as he ran over and grabbed him by his arms, stopping the Beta from continuing.
"He lost so much blood, we have to give him some of ours!" Reece panicked.
"Reece," Dom said softly. "You do know how to say all kinds of nonsense. We are Betas, we can't give an Alpha our blood!" He smacked him in the head and he groaned.
"What do we do then?" Mace asked.
"First we get him home,"
"And then?"
"If he had an Omega, they would share their blood with him, it will also help him heal faster but since he doesn't have an Omega... yet... we must find an Omega to give their blood," Dom replied.
"Are you crazy!" Reece questioned. "At this rate, he will suck an Omega to death because I am certain he will not stop until they are dead!"
"Which is why we won't have just one Omega, we get at least six to ten of them, Colleen will stay in the room to monitor the Alpha's feeding, and once he noticed the Omega is a little dizzy, he will send them out and I will send the next in, while you and Mace go to Rocky Moon and get the Luna, only the Demigod can find a fast solution to heal his son!" Once Dom was finished speaking, they began to gather their Alpha who groaned in pain as they lifted him from the ground.
"Let's get you home, Alpha."
