Taehyung finally opened his eyes....which were sore and swollen from all the crying.... but his heart warmed at seeing his daughter over him with a wide smile

' Good morning beautiful' Taehyung said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear as the girl giggled

' Appa get up..we need to leave' Cyra said and saw the smile straining out of Taehyung's face who slowly remembered what all happened the last day...his heart aching remembering the vile words he spat at Jungkook.... He hesitantly looked at his daughter...his mind clouding with insecurity

Taehyung only knew that he started crying when Cyra wiped the tears off his cheeks before cupping her small hands over his face

' Chimmy' Cyra was back on her feet.. jumping as Jimin laid a bag on the bed

' What do you mean Hoba?' Yoongi asked but Hobi's eyes were fixed onto Jungkook

' Kook ah... I know you will never abandon Tae like that...no matter how hurtful his words were...' Hobi exhaled ' We all were angry and helpless yesterday... half of what we said to you was an aftermath of that anger...but we all know that you kids won't leave each other.... And you Kook...we know how deep the fear of loosing Tae had rooted in your heart you'd never refuse to pick up any of our phones until and unless you are dead sure that Tae is safe...which is only possible if you were with whoever that was a potential danger'

Namjoon's eyes widened ' Whom did you meet yesterday?'.

Jungkook looked at Yoongi..his tongue swiped against the inside of his cheeks ' Park Jaein'

The Previous Evening

Jungkook saw Jimin walking back inside the apartment building...a sigh leaving him as he walked towards the parking.... stopping on his tracks when his phone rang

Hobi hyung? Jungkook frowned and was about to answer the call when the rings died down and the screen lighted up with many unread messages from both Namjoon and Hobi 'Whats happening?' He mumbled opening the messages only to have his heart drop

After a short drive... Jungkook and Jaein walked into a cafe...a way too familiar cafe for Jungkook where he used to work with Tae....something which he misses after revealing his identity

Jungkook turned towards the voice and and saw Wooshik by the counter... ' Hyung...I-'

' Let's talk some other time...I see you have company' Wooshik said looking at Jaein ' What do you want to have...'

' Just some coffee will do' Jungkook smiled before turning around and leading Jaein towards a corner table

Jungkook's jaw clenched..the mere mentioning of the name creating a storm in him.

' Then forget about the documents' Jungkook shrugged ' You have two options..get ready to face me in court...or save yourself by helping me'

Jaein huffed angrily standing up...the screeching of the chairs drawing attention of the rest of the customers

'I'll give you two days Jaein.... decide and call me' Jungkook said nonchalantly as Jaein stormed out of the cafe

Jungkook exhaled into his arms as he hid his face in his hand...when he felt another hand over his shoulder making him look up only to see Wooshik..the one who runs the cafe along with Hyungsik..or in a single sentence Jungkook's previous boss

' We need to talk' Wooshik said...his eyes wandering over the cafe ' We will be closing in an hour.... It's important...can you wait?'

Ok now Jungkook understood that he totally fucked up.... since even though Wooshik accepted him as his employee....Jungkook, after his very adventurous media confrontation...had just sent a text telling that he can't come back to work here....

He took his phone out only to realize that it's already past dinner time... He opened the messages..his heart aching seeing the latest one from Jin

This is all messed up..but as far as I know you are aware of Tae's past...and that Namjoon's friend..who helped hiding Tae at his home was me... He never contacted me once he left...but then someday I caught up with Joon and he told how his cousin was in a relation with the prince of korea....and also the fact that Tae doesn't want anyone to bring his past in front of him again so I just held back from meeting him.... But then I got to know about Sohyun...and I just somehow wanted to protect him....'

' It was Yoongi who told Tae that there is a job vacancy here' Hyungsik started ' But when Tae told that he wants to keep his identity hidden...Wooshik decided to hide away from him.. knowing well the reason behind Tae's request... And then came you...and we understood that there is more to your breakup cz Yoongi only told that he is trying to keep you both safe from Junho and then we met up with Yoongi and that's when he told the real cause of Sohyunie's death...'

Jungkook stood their slowly absorbing all the information....

' So Tae doesn't know that you are also here hyung?'

' Nope' Wooshik shrugged

' And you know both know Yoongi hyung?'

' Yes'

' How?'

' I met Yoongi through Joon' Wooshik revealed ' We met up once...some years back...when we first opened this cafe...and Yoongi accompanied him.... It was the time when Tae had told him everything about his past...but asked Yoongi to keep it a secret until he tell you about it himself... Yoongi thanked me a lot that day and I understood how much he values Tae.... I never saw him after than until recently when he came to us... frantically asking us to provide a job for Tae since he is not safe out there...and shortly after that you too joined and we were not sure of from whom we should protect Tae...so we called Yoongi...and then we got to know about Cyra..'

Jungkook leaned back onto the wall...Yoongi hyung was doing everything he could to make sure we are safe all along...god I'll happily lay my life for that man

' Jungkook...' Hyungsik began ' I am not involved in all these directly.... but I have known Tae closely...from the stories they said about him and also as his boss...and I need to know why Jaein was here'

Jungkook sighed... deciding to tell them everything...

' Fucking asshole!' Wooshik seethed in anger ' Jungkook ah... just tell us what we need to do...we both are with you in this'

' Thankyou so much hyung' Jungkook smiled... genuinely moved by them ' I'll definitely come to you if I need something'

' You should' Hyungsik smiled

' I should head back home' Jungkook said as they both nodded ' Also...Wooshik hyung.... Taehyung would be over the moon if he gets to know that you are here.... He might hate his past but he loves the people he cared about which includes you... trust me on this'

Jungkook walked out leaving a contemplating Wooshik behind

' Is there anything more that you are hiding from us?' Hobi turned towards his brother ' Lord Yoongi...you have been acting as if you hate the mere existence of that boy where as in reality you were just....you could have atleast told me'

' That kid didn't want me to' Yoongi smiled

' You and your obsession with Tae's happiness' Jungkook playfully rolled his eyes

' Aww is the baby Jeon jealous?' Yoongi laughed ' You have Joon just like Tae has me.... right Joon and we all have our Jin hyung'

' Ofcourse yes' Namjoon nodded ' But the day you call Seojoon,Joon hyung am disowning you'

' Yaa!' Seojoon's eyes widened.. making the rest of them laugh ' Don't drag me into this shit'

' Anyway Kook.... Did you talk to Tae yet?' Yoongi asked and saw Jungkook's smile falling

Taehyung could feel his throat drying up.... Jungkook was just staring and he already was feeling so tensed because of all these.... All the suffocating silence was making him question every single of his decisions regarding this modeling contract that he will be signing with Seojoon today

Jungkook wiped off a tear that slid down the soft bread cheeks 'Today is a very important day.... And I want you to be happy about it... I want to be with you in every step you take...be there by your side.... Even though I can't hold you in front of the world now... just know that am there.... somewhere near you yeah'

Taehyung nodded...his chest aching at this point as he nodded ' I love you'

' I love you' Jungkook leaned down pecking his lips before walking out
